Absolutely amazing how much info I am able to store on this drive... I have always known Lexar products to be reliable, reason why i didn't hesitate to make my purchase... I was NOT disappointed at all. My laptop is going bad and I wanted to make sure to save ALL my important videos and this drive really delivers!! Storage capacity is true to description...Very pleased with first purchase, that I purchased another. No issues with the transfer rate, even when I was transferring multiple items at one time. I am very pleased with the overall performance. Now I DON'T have to worry about my laptop zonking out on me.

One thing I do not like is the plastic protector does not fit on the other end. I'm probably going to lose it. It looks like it should fit, but it doesn't. Here's the benchmark without formatting and it's the first thing ever written. Sequential Read : 98.606 MB/s Sequential Write : 42.950 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 80.805 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 11.642 MB/s Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 4.345 MB/s [ 1060.8 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.322 MB/s [ 78.6 IOPS] Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 5.230 MB/s [ 1276.9 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 0.345 MB/s [ 84.3 IOPS]

Plenty of storage for the price. However for a USB 3.0 Drive it was very disappointing. Not only was the transfer speed extremely slow (4.5MPS on average), it would sometimes slow down even further to a complete stop. My old Lexar USB 3.0 Jump Drive blew this one out of the water. Lexar’s performance & reliability has completely fallen off the map… Would not recommend this drive..

I sometimes loan out data to friends and family on a USB flash drive and this Lexar 64 GB 3.0 USB Flash Drive does an excellent job for my purpose. I have found that Lexar has been great quality for my needs over many years, and I can't recall ever having a problem with a Lexar USB Drive. Well actually I do have one problem with these drives, sometimes I don't get them BACK from the person I loaned them to but that's another story! The price is great, the quality is great, being 3.0 version the transfer speed is great, and they last forever! Buy a good quality USB flash drive like this and you'll have no regrets. If you are transferring larger GB files you should re-format this drive to NTFS instead of FAT32 and then you'll have no problems moving larger movie files ... Please note in package that these memory sticks need to be reformatted. I bought more thinking it was not big enough and all it needed was to be properly formatted. Thanks.
The drive is working well so far. It has not been that long since I purchased it though so I am unsure of the longevity. They seem a bit flimsy and not too durable though. They also do not retract which I do not like. The Sansdisk drives I have seem a bit more durable. I do have another lexar drive drive that also seems more durable so I assume these were not too expensive for a reason. I just hope they hold up for a few years. For the sale price, it was a good deal...possibly lol.
The sale price looked too good to be true. It was. I bought two of these and they are dreadfully slow... when they work. It's hit or miss in terms of the devices they will work with. I had to re-format one to get my PC to recognize it.Lexar used to be a good brand but the old Lexar went out of business and a low-quality supplier bought the name. The "new" Lexar is junk.
Had another one same model as this one. That one crashed and was unrecoverable. Second one that replaced the first one crashed for no reason. Lost everything on it both times. Second one was re-initialized... but how long will that last? These are not getting heavy use either. Just random crashes.AVOID. Get another brand or model. It's true... Lexar has been replaced by some cheap offbrand supplier who bought the name and now just puts that name on cheap junk. You'll lose all your files and if you're lucky it wont cost u a buncha money or time. Its comepletely random.
This drive performs poorly. It certainly does not facilitate transfers of data at usb 3 speeds. If you try to boot a linux distro from it it takes longer than a cdrom to boot.the price is bigh and this thing performs like those fake ones on ebay and amazon
it works. has great storage. it's a jump drive. that it. not much to say. not like a tv or computer where you can point things out. it colects your info and thats it.don't know why you want me to type so much about it. just let me get along. ok? -Coyote
