Awesome Tablet!

All in all, two happy people and a son/husband who doesn't have to hear any more complaining...for a while...P.S. The wife wanted me to add that videos are super crisp and clear and they play GREAT!

A Samsung EVO+ microSDHC U1 card of 64gig can be had for around $15 and gives him a total of 96gig of storage for apps. The processing power is more than sufficient to play all his Roblock games, watch Netflix on his kids profile, Disney+, and Youtube Kids. He also has access to his school google classroom account and other learning apps, as well as AllowanceBot so he can check off his chores as he completes them.

It's hit and miss with this product. If you are lucky enough to buy a tablet that is fully functional- good on you (go buy a lotto ticket as well, you're obviously on a winning streak!). If, however, you have even the most simple fault that needs attention (including forgetting your password), your tablet becomes the most expensive paperweight or drinks coaster you have ever bought. Lenovo customer service objective is not to fix your fault, but to wear you down by wasting your time! Hopefully head office will see this remark and pull the product from their list!Do yourself a favour, spend a little extra money and get a product that will work, and that has a reputation for an efficient customer servicing department. You will save yourself money in the long run.

Fairly quick performance in a mid tablet

I find it hard to justify a tablet priced from $500 to $900, when one can get a nice laptop computer in that price range. So after trying a number of tablets, settled on this one. This tablet is moderately priced at $179 and has perfprmed well with no glitches so far. Reasonable speed in this price range. Screen has good color, clarity and adequate brightness, and touch works well. Have not been able to get info if screen is glass or plasctic, but it seems to me it is glass. Added a tempered glass screen protector anyway. Setup was straightforward, and downloading updates and apps worked perfectly. I do suggest an additional micro sd card formatted as internal for extra storage. Sound is to be as expected - when speakers are this tiny. Sound through headphones is adequate, but not quite as dramatic from lows to highs as I expected. Wi-Fi works well, download speeds are good, bluetooth paired seamlessly. All apps - Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prme, work properly. Battery life seems like it will be sufficient for a days worth of emails, browsing, watching videos. All in all, this isn't a $500 tablet, but a good tablet at this price point.

Good option

I needed an android tablet for use when apple is very restrictive with certain apps etc. Got this in the sale, bargain. It does what it is meant to. Battery life isn't that great but that is just like any other electronic devices these days. Graphics seems to be ok. Really basic use. The sound (speakers) is very tinny compared to apple when you don't use ear / head phones. Like VERY BAD sound quality as though i am sitting in car with engine running and the tinny sound comes through. But it is fine when played through audio aids.I would only recommend if this is used for basic usage, for example streaming programs. otherwise, no, spend a bit more money for a better quality one.

This was purchased to replace my hopelessly outdated Google Nexus tablet. Setup was fine, operating system, all features are good. Very pleased with screen and battery life. Bought the 32 GB version, which kept the price around 100 and its more than enough memory to run my applications. The 64 MB version costs considerably more but probably not worth it. Has Wifi but not a mobile option, if that is important to you. Overall, a cheap little thing but works great.

Big screen, great resolution. Fast and responsive. It looks like a computer in a phone operating system. So I always switch browsers in desktop mode. As of end of 2021, Netflix app plays video in SD mode. HD is not available. Did not fine any browser which can stream Netflix either. Of course, its not a Lenovo issue, but it crashed my plans for using this tablet as a Netflix streamer. Everything else is awesome. Sound quality, stand, buttons, battery life.

Reliable basic device
29 May 2022

Only had it for a few weeks and use it sparingly for streaming media only, but so far so good. I'll be honest it was an impulse buy. My laptop had died two days previously (don't try to balance a Scotch and coke on the bed while watching football), and I pretty much grabbed the first thing that seemed reasonably-priced and a decent size for viewing content. So I did zero research and didn't ask too many questions, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it's Google/Chrome-based. My Lenonvo laptop was Windows. That makes everything so much easier and accessible. Early days, but very satisfied.

I bought this as a replacement for an old and low priced tablet , which has been obsolete since 2015.To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The old supermarket own brand tablet was by no means top quality, but this Lenovo makes it look like lightning fast. The Lenovo is painfully slow and continually freezes when scrolling. It has difficulty downloading and operating common auction site and shopping apps. While on Netflix, it simply switches itself back to the home screen without being touched. The Lenovo interface is counter intuitive and the camera quality is dreadfull. I love the concept of this but it fails to live up to expectations. My major complaint is the first 2 days i had it it was fine. Now less that a week of owning it, it constantly loses it's bluetooth connection while docked. The Alexa features don't work without the tablet docked and at least 2 times an hour it will beep and bring up the screen that says" Connecting to Bluetooth please leave tablet docked while connecting". it's very irritating to the point that no matter how much I like the concept the fact it won't stay connected is becoming not worth owning. At least once a day it won't connect at all and I have to power down the base and restart it and manually connect it to bluetooth. The other issue I have is I paid to have Samuel L Jackson as the celebrity voice of Alexa and first off it doesn't work on this device, it cuts out every time but works fine on every other Alexa device I have, also the only thing it does is tell you corny dad jokes I thought his voice would take the place of Alexa's voice. Overall it seems to be decently built but the glitches it has with bluetooth connections is what makes me give it 1 star. Maybe the P10 version would be better but this doesn't live up to expectations or at least hopes.
