The laptop color mentioned is 'Gray', yet BJs sent 'Slate Gray' which has a fabric top instead of the metal finish shown in the images on this page. I bought 2 machines, both have the the same issue.

My daughter had an HP that was just basic. It was fine for elementary school. I decided to surprise her with this Lenovo and she loves it. Much faster hopefully it gets her through high school.

Caught this on sale for $300 a while back and it's great for that price! Kids can run roblox and we can do the other normal things on it.

You get A LOT of bang for buck here. The price of this laptop would normally get you a lesser powered Chromebook, or a laptop with those weaker intel atom CPU’s, but here you get not an i3, but an i5, and an 11th gen at that. And on top of that, 8gb of ram; and not 128, not 256, but 512 gb of SSD storage. That’s equal to if not better than some configs of a Surface Pro 9 or other equivalently priced machine at 3.5x the cost of this one.And you can also upgrade the RAM- swap the included 4gb stick with an 8gb stick to get the max supported 12gb of ram. Easy to do, the bottom pries right off after removing the screws. And the keyboard is actually excellent. It’s not backlit, but the keys have excellent tactility and travel. Easy to do, the bottom pries right off after removing the screws. And the keyboard is actually excellent. It’s not backlit, but the keys have excellent tactility and travel. Not cumbersome to type on like other super flat keyboards. The body / finish of the machine is pretty nice too. It’s plastic but it’s a nice gray/silver finish, with tough plastic that doesn’t scratch easily. And the lid is nice, smooth, and attractive. It feels overall very well put together and aesthetically pleasing to use.The weak point of this laptop is the screen. It’s not unusable, or even bad per se, but it’s the only thing you can really complain about on this machine. The colors are somewhat washed by the backlight, and the viewing angles aren’t the best. But it’s not like it will deter you from doing what you need to do, or is a wholly negative experience. You can still code, watch videos, etc just fine. Brightness indoors is plenty, but it is definitely too dim for outdoors / sunlight. The best way to describe it is “sufficient”.Overall this laptop, especially at microcenter’s price when on sale, is an absolute home run and steal. It’s practically a Black Friday deal. Especially if you upgrade the ram and Windows 11 Home to Pro, and you’ve got a machine that won’t shy away from anything you throw at it.
This laptop is fast with a great screen and nice-sized SSD. It is lightweight and i prefer the size to the 15". I read an earlier review warning that they received the version with the fabric cover on top, so I was prepared when that was the model that arrived. I like the fabric cover, but if you want the smooth gray version, don't order this laptop.
I bought this Lenovo for my husband. He loves that it is fast, it has features that makes it easy to navigate the system and create projects. He is very satisfied with his Lenovo so far
I use this to check on my emails and also to check social media. The size of the PC makes it very convenient to transport. I am used to desktop units. Also the GB numbers make it very fast when doing searches. The main complaint I have is not being use to a laptop I sometimes barely touch the pad to move the cursor and it changes the screen to another subject or another page I either just left or wasn't ready to go to. It seems very touchy. I guess it just takes some getting used to.
I bought this lap top a month ago and I'm so glad I did. Everyone I interacted with at MC was polite and knowledgeable. I never felt like I was dumb. I LOVE my Lenovo laptop. Speed is fast. Screen is clear. sound is good and so easy to clear cookies too LOL
Only 4 cores and eight threads. This is a 2 generation old laptop. Most Chrome books have as much processing power these days and even current generation low end laptops now usually have 6-8 cores with 12-14 threads, run faster and have more battery life... stay away.
Use for normal, everyday use. Works well, love the touchscreen.#sweepstakes
