I purchased a 14" Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 and during checkout Lenovo suggested the ThinkPad 14" sleeve. Great! - Wait, not so fast!!! No where are the dimensions of the sleeve listed. The sleeve is huge in comparison to the laptop. Laptop dimensions are ~12.5"x9". The sleeve is ~15"x11". Most disappointing part is neither customer service nor sales were able to assist in determining the manufacturers sizing for the ThinkPad 13" or 14" sleeves. I still don't know if I was sent the wrong product or if the advertising is just off... (If your laptop is in the 14"x10" size, the case does seem to be good quality.)

I recently purchased the Thinkpad T14S and this sleeve to go with it. It certainly does not fit the laptop. It is at least 1.5 inches too long to be considered fitted. I read other reviews saying the same thing, and I thought, “it can’t be that bad.” It is. Lenovo do better.

This was almost excellent, except that lenovo suggests seemingly the wrong size for my computer.The build quality seems good, though i have only had it for a few days with minimal use. It protects the computer with a layer of neoprene on both sides and doubled-over fabric on the edges.This was the lenovo-recommended sleeve for the yoga x1 gen6 14". Unfortunately, it is too large by 1" in one direction and almost 2" in the other, so the computer has a lot of room to slide around. The 13" sleeve is properly sized for this computer, but isn't even listed as compatible on the Lenovo website. In short, check the dimensions of your computer and the dimensions of this sleeve and you should be happy.

I have a lenovo idea pad 5-14 api, the bag needs a shoulder strap, side pouch needs a zipper, needs a Velcro internal restraining strap, zipper is on the end of bag if not zipped computer can fall out. Needs 2 removable side cushions for thin laptops, needs a mouse holder. The bag has a great beginning, a few refinements and it will be a GREAT bag! Adjustable shoulder straps could be attached at each end of the handle or each end of zipper opening. Price of bag is great. Construction looks very good, can't tell if it's waterproof. If it's not adding a plastic liner would enhance the bag. I would buy again even with the existing negatives. Overall, a thumbs up to purchase.

Room for a small laptop stand, mouse with case, and in-ear earphones with case and a bit more room. The stitching is done really well, nothing hanging out or loose stitching. Purchased from Lenovo knowing I would get an authentic sleeve rather than amazon or ebay - lots of counterfeits nowadays. I was really hoping the Thinkpad logo was stitched but it seems to be painted on. The handle is functional and slide in and out at both ends and is flushed with the rest of the sleeve when not in use (not automatic, needs to be pushed down with some help). The interior is very soft and will protect the laptop for what seems for the life of the sleeve. Very high quality product; I like that it opens on the short end, so I can put the sleeve in my backpack and take out my laptop with just one hand seamlessly. Handle works great - retractable. Outside zipper pocket is great; just wish there was a slot for a touchscreen pen.
This sleeve is the essential carry bag for my new Thinkpad Carbon X1 laptop. I looked at others, but returned for the Lenovo sleeve.It has not disappointed me. It is well made and durable. It perfectly protects my laptop from harm.Save time and guard yourself from making a mistake with another sleeve. But the Lenovo sleeve now!
As other reviewers have suggested, this is quite big for a 14" sleeve. A tight fit it is not. It would fit a 15" laptop easily. One might be better off opting for the 13" sleeve for a 14" laptop. I am still within the return period, and I'm on the fence. To be sure, because of the pandemic, I haven't used this sleeve to travel, as I otherwise would have, but I think about keeping it because I can also fit a notepad, a mouse, and some writing materials in the sleeve along with the computer. It still might be big. I admit that there is something sexy about having a "sleeve" fit the computer like a glove. There are a grown man's glove on a child's hand. Lenovo should be more forthright about the dimensions, as this is not what I expected from its description.
I was expecting a case with thicker padding than what I actually got. The case is made out of neoprene, which is fine, but it doesn't compare with the woven fabric used on some cases like another one I also own. This one is nice, well-made, and big enough for my 14-inch Thinkpad but the padding is rather thin. It's very light of course but make sure you don't drop it because it might not protect your PC from serious damage. All things considered, it's a carrying case, nothing more.
This is a nice laptop sleeve. However, the quality of the stitching on the handle failed on first time use. The handle is still secure but it looks terrible. What is really disappointing is no warranty nor return for a replacement from Lenovo.
