I purchased this computer for my workstation due to its small size and capabilities. This unit fits the bill perfectly. Easy connections and set up. Plenty of ports for various USB connections. HDMI hook up for a TV or Monitor. Comes preloaded with Windows 10 Pro and the option to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro at no charge. The unit itself is very solid and of high quality. Built in Wi Fi internet. Impressive amount of features in this small of package. Loving every minute of using this computer!

Using as desktop for productivity, media, etc... I basically love this PC as it's very fast. I did upgrade to 16GB memory set and also added a Gen4 1TB NVME drive. I do wish this unit included 2 NVME drive slots, but that can be overcome. Only issue I've encountered so far is with video performance..first the monitor will not wake from sleep without turning monitor off/on, it may be because my monitor is quite old, a Dell 3818DW, but it has worked fine with other PC's. Also for whatever reason on occasion it wakes up in very low resolution which cannot be adjusted in display properties as only 800x600 is listed there. Reboot PC and all is fine. This is an awesome machine if I could iron out these 2 annoying problems.

These are great mini desktops to use for a conference room or a media PC. My company has been buying this model and other similar models for use in our Zoom Rooms at the office. They are powerful enough to run Zoom Rooms without any hiccups. We have hooked higher end cameras to them, projectors, speakers, etc without any issue. Having built in Wifi is really nice, and there are several different video connection options (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc) so they are a perfect fit. The fact that there is a wall mount for these is also great since we like to hide them behind the TV.I wish they were USBC powered instead of the old Lenovo square plug that has been around for ages that they use with their docking stations (another thing they need to change). I have purchased the M70q for its small size. It is the size of book of 300-ish pages.POSITIVES:- The build is robust with regular thickness steel on the sides.- There are so many ports! You are not sacrificing connectivity with this PC.- upgrade-ability is excellent with full access by removal of a single screw.- unless it is used for heavy computation it is practically silent.- the system is Win 11 compatible.NEGATIVES.- If you buy it with regular hard drive, you should upgrade it right away to SSD. The regular HDD is slow to a painful point.- While the small size is appreciated I would trade a slightly larger case for integrated power adapter. The PC uses a laptop power source, which makes you keep track of one more item.
Choosing this one was easy. Current connectivity (WiFi 6, bluetooth, USB-C and the latest USB-A and enough of them), several monitor connections. Everything included in one tiny form-factor system. Core i5 is a good balance of price/performance. Plenty of RAM. PCI-e storage. Price competitive with other systems with far less!
Great that it has 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and an Intel i7; very fast, yet affordable. OTOH, the myriad cables you have to attach (keyboard, mouse, monitor, camera, audio, backup drive, optical drive, usb expansion hub, ethernet) make a serious rat’s-nest behind it. Better if you do not plan to attach all that, stream everything, & use a lot of Bluetooth & Wi-Fi.
I recently purchased the M70q Tiny Desktop to use as a Plex media server for a friend that has limited access to internet. I can’t believe how small, fast, and quiet the M70q is. Having built my own servers for several years now, it’s amazing to see how compact Lenovo has made this product without compromising processor performance. I expected a PC this size would have a compact fan that emits a high frequency noise. After listening for hours, nothing, not a sound!Keep up the great work Lenovo!
I have been a fan of Lenovo products for a few years and have owned 3 PCs made by them. In all honesty, one was a dud. That happens and I didn't sweat it. So, I looked for something that was a bit smaller and found the M70q which was sized perfectly for me and had all the bells and whistles that I needed at a price that I could afford. When I received it I was amazed at how small it was and it looked really well built. So, I did a data transfer and settled in. To my amazement, it performed so much better than anything I had owned before that I thought perhaps the sent me a better model by mistake. Combined with my ATT fiber account, I have up and download speeds in excess of 900 MPS! Needless to say I am a happy camper. I opted for Win10 Pro and that was worth it as ... MoreI have been a fan of Lenovo products for a few years and have owned 3 PCs made by them. In all honesty, one was a dud. So, if you are looking for a tiny giant that doesn't break the bank... get one!
I own a photo booth business and use these Tiny computers exclusively in all my photo booths. I needed something that was fast and powerful enough and would fit into my photo booths. These computers have continued without fail to operate my booths for many years, as I use them along with my photo booth software to take thousands and thousands of pictures at multiple parties, weddings and events. If you are lacking space, needing a powerful Windows based computer and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend these Tiny computers from Lenovo.
FANTASTIC. I bought this because I needed a small format computer to remote into my office computer. I specifically wanted to avoid a spinning hard disc, as that is what seems to fail most often. This fit the bill. I have an i5 chip, but this computer is as fast, if not faster, than my office i7 with a 7200 rpm hard disc. Quiet, compact, fast, it's absolutely perfect. I really like this computer. Nicely done Lenovo, nicely done.
