This Separatist-era shuttle is a solid set in every sense of the word. The ship is very sturdy and won't break easily (even the fin on the top), unlike the 2009 version of this vehicle. I've heard that this set looks weird and that it doesn't capture the Separatist shuttle's look, but honestly it's pretty accurate to what we see in season 3 of Rebels, right down to the astromech slot being off-center on the top, and the folding ramp in the back. Plus, it's about the same size as the old version and has about the same amount of pieces. The colors are very vibrant and aesthetically pleasing, especially the light teal pieces on the front of the fin. The colors are very vibrant and aesthetically pleasing, especially the light teal pieces on the front of the fin. The spring-loaded shooters are creatively integrated into the design of the ship, and a re fired using a cleverly designed lever in the back. The front cockpit comes off, even though it doesn't do that in-universe.The only problem is that the landing gear aren't very sturdy, and tend to move around when the ship is resting on them, but that could be easily modified with a few extra pieces. There are also no studs inside the cockpit and back area, so minifigs inside will likely slide around a bit during play. There are also quite a few stickers, but they still look goodThe set also comes with a crate with a single thermal detonator piece in it, which can fit in the back and can be used to store the minifigs' weapons.Speaking of the minifigures, they're amazing, and are probably the highlights of the set. Blind Kanan as we see him in seasons 3 and 4 is very accurate to the show and extremely detailed. The new hair/mask piece is great and so is the head; it's remarkable that they put that much detail into something that would be just be covered up 90% of the time. Grand Admiral Thrawn is pretty cool as well. Both of his facial expressions look great, and although his detailing is more simple, it still looks great in addition to being accurate to the show (except for his rank plaque, but that's only a small detail.) Chopper is the same as we've seen him in other sets, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.The set might be a little small for $30, but the minifigures more than make up for it. This set will make a fine addition to any Rebels fan's collection.

Rebels Season 3 introduces us to one of the best villains: Grand Admiral Thrawn and the tone of the episodes is becoming much darker. Finally Chopper is included and has his own spot on the ship. This is another great Rebels model from Lego and a colourful addition to a Star Wars collection!

I really enjoy this set. The design of the Phantom is excellent and there are great play features. The price is a little high at $29.99 USD, but the exclusivity of figures really are what drives the price up (Grand Admiral Thrawn in particular). The Grand Admiral Thrawn minifigure in this set is ok. The face printing and the new blue hair are great, but his torso printing is wrong. Now I am sure by now LEGO knows the inaccuracy involved with Grand Admiral Thrawn's torso which is that his rank is wrong. The rank he has in the TV show is grand admiral whereas the minifig has an admiral's rank. Another toy company made the same mistake and fixed it, so I hope that in time LEGO will come out with an accurate replacement torso piece for Grand Admiral Thrawn. Other than ... Despite Thrawn's inaccuracy, I would still recommend this set to any Star Wars Rebels fan. I hope that this review helped.
I love this set. The Sheathipede-Class version of the Phantom looked amazing in the show, and looks just as good here. The small ship has great play features, too. I really like how well the spring-loaded shooter's firing mechanism is hidden so well into the build. The color scheme is great and the details are good, too. The cargo box has just enough room to fit inside the ship. In case of an incident with the empire, the cockpit can detach from the rest of the ship for a quick getaway. But the best part of this set has to be the minifigures. They are so detailed and accurate. I think Blind Kannan is the best minifigure in the set. And Grand Admiral Thrawn is a great inclusion. My only complaint about this set is the price. I was so excited when this set was announced. I just love the character Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars Rebels, so I knew I had to get this set. I went to the store as soon as the set came out and I bought with some money that I was saving up. I could not wait to open the set up and build it. This is where things went wrong. While I was assembling the Grand Admiral Thrawn figure I noticed he looked a bit wrong. His rank on the front his torso piece showed the rank of an admiral instead of a grand admiral. At first I just thought that this mistake was a misprint but I looked closely at the instructions and the box and the rank was wrong there as well. I instantly became overwhelmed with disappointment. The one figure that I wanted the most from this set was not accurate to the TV show. I could not believe that I just spent $30 on something that had such a huge problem with it. I would not recommend this set to anyone, especially people that pay close attention to detail unless LEGO somehow fixes the mistake with Grand Admiral Thrawn like they did with Kanan Jarrus in set 75053 from 2014. I hope this review was useful and I hope that the rest of you who are interested in this set are willing to wait for a possible redesign of the Grand Admiral Thrawn minifigure.
This set here is very special. I have bought the Ghost and the Phantom 1 two years ago, which, Ezra, why you destroyed it omg, this set is not cheap.Anyways back to the review. The box does not advertise at all that the new phantom would go into the ghost. I bought this set just to "try" if it will fit as it seems like it should (according to size on the box)The set looks AMAZING omg, the colours are awesome, and the minifigs LOOK EPIC! (Kanan's headpiece omg u need to see it for urself!)The downsides to this set are,1. Low play-ability. Except holding it and flying it around, there's really not much to it.2. It's missing the cool looking thrusters . I mean, Lego could have given two yellow 2X1 piece to stick on to the back to replace one of those pieces, ... MoreThis set here is very special. Price per piece and price for size is horrible for this set at 15 cents CAD per piece (which I know us-cad is 1.33 so whatever). But the size for 40$? dats quite expensive!4. Admiral thrawn does not use a gun...... He's an admiral.... His hair and color tone is also off, but acceptable.Other than that, IT FULLY FITS INTO THE GHOST OMG OMG, it can back in perfectly!!!!!!!!!Hope you guys enjoy the set!
Like most people, I got this for Thrawn. I was pleasantly surprised by the actual ship itself, though. While most people are getting this for Thrawn, let's not leave the other minifigures out of the conversation. Kanan is excellent. His face and hair piece are really well-dsigned and his new version is a nice addition to the Star Wars Rebels lineup. If you don't have Chopper yet (I didn't), it's always nice to have another droid. Thrawn was actually a little disappointing as a minifigure, I thought, and not just because of the wrong rank insignia. His face just seems off... lacking in expression, maybe. He's certainly a nice figure to have and a great addition to anyone's Star Wars collection, but I do think a better version will follow. That said, we got extremely ... That said, we got extremely lucky to get such an amazing character in such an inexpensive set, so unless you're willing to spend some big bucks on a set with an updated Thrawn down the road, get him now!The ship itself is well-made. The star wars line has come a long way in durability, and fittingly this set has no trouble staying together. The overall design of the ship is nice and I enjoy having it more than I expected. I only wish the hold was more spacious so minifigures could stand up in it. I would've also liked to have seen more detonators. Three would be more appropriate than one for giving the storage compartment the appearance of being full. This is an excellent buy for $30. I did say I was a little disappointed with the Thrawn minifigure, but at $30, how critical can we really be? If you're looking for good minifigures and don't already have these, I'd highly recommend it.
The newest model of the Phantom is based off of the captured Sheathipede-class shuttle that the Ghost crew obtained early in season 3 (due to Ezra trashing the original model). The model itself is designed in mind with the stylization of the animated series, so it's features are slightly off with how the Sheathipede appeared in the prequels. That being said, the set is designed well with a large enough cockpit for a minifigure and their weapon (which is a rare sight), as well as a small cargo area that can store a container for more weapons. Choppers astromech port is spot on, not being centered, but giving enough space for the Spring loaded missiles to shoot freely. The Legs are probably the worst feature of the ship as they stick out like a sore thumb rather than ... The Legs are probably the worst feature of the ship as they stick out like a sore thumb rather than blending into the craft itself. Another annoyance of this set was the amount of stickers. On a plus side, this iteration of the Phantom fits in perfectly with the Ghost in it's docking area where the previous Phantom sat.The minifigure selection is great as we get a new Kannan to match how he appears for season 3 and the first half of season 4. His head is fully printed on both sides with his pupiless eyes to show his blindness. Chopper is a nice addition to this set as Chopper is an integral part of the Phantom. Thrawn however has his drawbacks. His figure is perfect, save for the incorrect rank plaque which shows him as being an Admiral; not a Grand Admiral. Either way, it's good to have a Thrawn figure after all these years. The set is decently priced, comes with rare minifigures, and has good playability. I'm extremely impressed that the designers made sure it could dock with the Ghost model which was released back in 2014. If you can get past the stickers, this set is worth it.
This set might be my favorite from the spring 2017 wave of Star Wars sets! This is probably my favorite set of the new wave because of everything! I'll explain. The minifigures are one of the best selection Lego put in the wave because of the new Grand Admiral Thrawn and Kannan. Chopper is really cool and all but there is better minifigures in the set than Chopper. The real set on the other hand is amazing except that there is not a lot of room in the back of the Phantom. I wish Lego made this set $25 to compare with $30 because the set is amazing, the minifigures are incredible, but the set kinda looks small for $30. In the UK this set is EXTREMELY over priced at £39.99! In America it's kinda over priced but in the UK it's Very overpriced! Overall this set is really cool except for the price in the UK!
