I would recommend this to a friend! I have been wanting a UCS AT-AT ever since I bought the UCS AT-ST a little while ago. And LEGO certainly did not disappoint me. This set is definitely one of the coolest sets I’ve ever built. The details are amazing both interior and exterior. The posable legs with the brick built screwdriver were definitely an amazing addition to this set. There is a fair amount of repetition in this set. Mainly for the legs. The biggest flaw in this set is that it is not as sturdy as I expected. Even lightly touching it will cause it to jiggle a little bit. But, overall, this is definitely a set worth getting for any Star Wars fan. PS. I’m super excited for the AT-ST that is made to scale with this set. It comes out on January 1st.

A professional review; 75257 Millennium Falcon

Hey there, I am reviewing the Millennium Falcon set today. So this set is really quite an eye catching display piece and is well worth worth the price but there are some things you might want to know about before you spend a load of money on this set and that brings to a main factor; the price. This set is well priced as other sets that have less pieces like the 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser which costs more comes with 15 less pieces. You can also buy it at alternate stores on sale or for a lower full price. So I can conclude that this set is reasonably and well priced for what you get. This set comes with lots of handy pieces you can use to make other sets using online instructions, and it comes with some pretty nifty pieces. The next thing you should consider is the playability. This set would be very much appreciated by youngsters as the whole top of the ship opens up so they can role play R2-D2 and Chewbacca playing Dejarik on the hologame board. It comes with a little kitchen and lounging space, as well as the removable panels that Finn and Rey first hide in when they sneak on board the Millennium Falcon. It comes with a movable ramp that the minifigures can walk up and down on, and a pathway into the main cockpit, with 2 seats, and room for two minifigures. This set also has blasters on the front with disguised triggers so it doesn’t ruin the looks and enables kids to easily shoot down Imperial Tie Fighters. You can also put a minifigure in the gun turret and rotate it. This set is one of the most playable sets of lego Star Wars. The fact that it’s also the most iconic ship helps too. Some small problems with this set however is that the bottom has barely anything on it, and looks a bit dismal in all of the sets glory. It is also very hard to get your hand under the ship to put minifigures up the ramp, which may slightly reduce the playability of that element. The top gun turret is a bit fragile and can fall off quite easily, and there are also some fiddly parts of the build that may be hard for kids to complete alone.Overall, I think this is an enjoyable build and well worth getting, just maybe consider a few of these points I’ve made today before you do.

I totally recommend this project to anyone who loves LEGOs. I had a wonderful time building but I may have received a defective box. After bags #4, I noticed my blocks were slightly off. I continued building and by bags #10 I had encountered missing pieces, I tried to continue building but as I use pieces to continue the build I don’t have enough pieces for other sections.Like I said earlier, I highly recommend the project, I just seem to have gotten a faulty set.Lego, you are still my favourite!!! 😊** I only shared 3 photos the rest of the problem pieces are inside the build

Another area for coffee or refreshments, and the well-equipped fire control system for automated shooting of the upper and lower turretsIf there was any part of the model, that I would consider, as being delicate, it would be the rotating turrets on the top and the bottom, and I will consider the possibility of having to use some “KRAGLE“ to permanently hold this area together to enhance play .One wonderful area of this model is the huge open floor space where you to design your own furniture and place it anywhere you want or add additional characters onto your model. If you look at my photos, you will notice that I have moved the hollow chess away from the wall because the players cannot sit or stand in the configurations that l Lego presented in the manual. But moving the chairs to the other side of the table, allows the players (Minifigs) to sit or stand and covers to still close. The model rest beautifully anywhere for display or demonstration, and I would highly recommend it. I had no missing parts of pieces as others have complained, and as I have had with other sets in the past, this one was perfect all the way around.

Good display piece but horribly fragile

The Millennium Falcon is a beautiful thing. I'm not even a huge Star Wars fan but the idea of a massive lego spaceship that's basically to scale with lego minifigures is awesome. I drew out my building process for this ship over 6 months, doing maybe a couple hours each week. It was a pretty fun time. Now, with a finished product, it is a nice display piece. There is a lot to look at, the size is admirable, and some parts of the ship can be interacted with like the side ramp, two easily removeable roofs to peek into rooms, and the cockpit. The inclusion of many minifigures is also a good plus. However, some of the inner workings of this ship are a disaster. Primarily around the front ramp and top and bottom turret sections. The inclusion of many minifigures is also a good plus. However, some of the inner workings of this ship are a disaster. Primarily around the front ramp and top and bottom turret sections. Over the course of several more months after completion, I have collectively spent HOURS trying to fix the ramp, only to end up damaging something else and then having to go fix that. It's a lost cause. Maybe I got a defective piece somewhere but the four gray pieces to hold the upside-down ramp simply do not all fit into the bricks together. Some fit - enough to hold it up - but God help you if you try to manipulate it at all. It is FRAGILE. Directly above the ramp is also a loose hanging frontal roof which hangs looser than I'd like. Coincidentally, the instructions make it look like this roof and the ramp are supposed to be connected to flexible rocking black pieces; however, these connections are both physically difficult and simply don't work as they interfere with other parts of the ship. Part of what prompted me to write this whole review was me spending another hour+ trying yet again to fix this connection after dismantling some of the ship to no avail. It simply does not function.Speaking of fragile, trying to lift the ship is just asking for frustration. There is even a little graphic showing people how to properly lift the ship, but something always seems to fall off no matter how careful I am. I don't even remember how it happened but somehow the bottom turret section broke so bad I had to spend almost an hour repairing it in frustration. This can all likely be chalked up to user error on my end, but it feels like a very easy "error" to fall into.Multiple small pieces were also missing upon arrival which always dampens any lego experience. As much as I love looking at the finished product, I would honestly refund this ship if I could - $800 is a LOT of money and frankly I just don't think all of the value is there.

I'm an expert builder, have been building Lego since I was 7 (39 now) and this set presented a nice building challenge. Definitely not for anyone below intermediate level. The directions, though laid out nice, do not hold your hand like lower level sets (i.e. highlight the pieces fitted to the model for the current step or always show a clear view of where. If you built this, you know what I mean.)The set can present some frustration during construction as fitting sub-assemblies in tight spots especially on the underside in later stages once the model has gained some girth can be a bit of a hassle. This thing isn't exactly "move" friendly.I wish some of the connection points were a little more substantial for some of the panels, especially those on the bottom in the rear on the outer perimeter. One edge on each one is literally held in place by the studs on an adjacent assembly, and just barely. Again if you built this, you know what I'm talking about. The detail on the top is simply amazing and a joy to look at, however that being said, it feels like the bottom was an afterthought and has some unacceptably large gaps in places, especially around the perimeter of the ventral quad cannon and the port and starboard docking rings. Lego could have tightened those up a bit in my opinion. Many of you are probably saying you can't even see the bottom really when it's displayed, but in my instance you can as I have a stand that displays the falcon at a 45° angle and the bottom suddenly becomes VERY visible.Plan ahead and build this set as close to its final display location as possible. Once built, it is quite hefty and is almost impossible to move without a few pieces coming off, and then good luck figuring out from whence they came!!! It can be frustrating.Overall, this is still a must have for any Star Wars fan, challenging build fan, big set fan, or just fans of any and all UCS. While it is GOOD, it's not great in terms of construction quality as it is quite fragile and some areas were treated as afterthoughts. For a second iteration, I expected more from Lego, but maybe my expectations and standards are too high, especially for someone that couldn't have designed it any better himself if at all. After all, I said I am an Expert builder, not a MASTER builder.

Beautiful piece. Building was very stressful . 1st bag was missing a support piece. I was stopped right at the beginning. Called lego, very friendly and sent piece free of charge but took 6 days to get here. Do you know how hard it is to wait after saving to get this thing. Yikes. Bag 7 the last landing gear pieces did not match the color of the rest. Bag 6,9, and 12 were all missing a piece. Luckily I have spares from previous builds. Bag 11. Missing steps for the 2nd side cover in the book...had to match trim by looking at the picture. Bag 12 several pieces the wrong shade of grey from the picture. But all and all, this is a very attractive piece.

Honestly, I would start by saying to take any low review with a grain of salt. This build is great and solid, the only weak point is the front under the space bar, don't pull it by that. I also would have liked a full base so you didn't see the table or surface under the keyboard, but those are minor and do not take away from the 5 stars at all. If you miss one of the steps or don't fully follow directions you can mess up something big time causing to have to back track far to fix it, but my advice on that, pay close attention to all steps. The typewriter does "work", the paper feed is tricky, mess with the angle of the mechanism behind the paper to make it work, the letter from the owner of the LEGO group is neat, maybe overkill to have 43 of them, but may have ... MoreHonestly, I would start by saying to take any low review with a grain of salt.
