I ordered this for myself (aged 68 living in the UK) as I thought it would be a very interesting build.... but I also bought the same set for my 7 year old granddaughter in Australia from a shop local to her. Both our sets were delivered on the same day and my granddaughter was straight into hers, so I was playing catch up with the promise I wouldn't finish before her. We had a super time building together even though we're on opposite sides of the globe. She found the instructions easy to follow and only had one little problem with the placement of a brick so we worked through it together via a video chat. The last bag we built at the same time (rather a very late night for me due to the 9 hour time difference) and we completed the build at the same time. The only thing she commented on was that there would be more rides at a theme park so I think we will have to challenge ourselves and add a few more 'attractions'Building this set together was a moment to treasure and reminded me of how I used to build Lego when I was 7 years old with my dad.

Great set for kids that like to be a bit challenged with functional moving parts that require eye for detail. The mechanical side of the set had some technic style gears that initially challenged my child but through trial and error she played around and figured it out to make sure it sure it was functioning as it should. Little parental assistance required but good to supervise. The colours were a nice surprise too, it wasn't what I thought with expectations being of a typical young child set, the moving pieces, stickers and functionality/play ability of the set exceeded expectations. Even the grown ups in the house think its pretty cool and fun to fiddle around with.

From the moment we opened the box, we knew this wasn’t your average lego set!Ten bags of coloured excitement to put together with step by step instructions as lego provides! It took us as a family working together around 2.5 hours to assemble, however the fun achieved from it far outweighs building time! The details are incredible down to the small toys on the stand. The way that turning the handle makes multiple parts of the lego set move is genius. A surfer, a water toy stand and interactive ride make the imagination run away!Superb!

This Lego Friends Amusement Park was so much fun to build! The part usage was great! Using Technic pieces and making the attractions all move simultaneously was very enjoyable. Of course because it's Lego Friends, you can count on awesome color schemes. The seahorse, turtle and dolphin were fun to put together as they are really different than the other seahorse, turtle and dolphin builds. This set has 3 mini dolls. One or two more would have made it a little more fun. Overall, the build was a lot of fun and is great for presentation and play!
This was a great activity to spend time with my daughter. She was very excited to build it and then play with it including spontaneous play in the middle of building it after completing various pieces. She was able to build it with only a little help from myself when it came to the geared parts and it was great to watch her work things out for herself. My daughter found the theme of a beach amusement park exciting and loves that it has interconnected moving parts. This appears to be a great way to introduce technical lego to younger children. Finally coming with the 4 different characters allows this playset to be used on its own for how’s of fun.
Upon receival of the Lego, it was quite impressive how big the set it. After having a closer look, there's no indication of the no. of pieces in this set. I wonder if it's because it is made as an interactive playset so there's no "fixed set" of pieces. However, because of this, it was quite overwhelming opening up the packaging to see so many packs and pieces to this amusement park set. I trialled this lego with my 6 year old niece, who is on the lower age range of the trial age group. In the beginning, she is very excited to built the set. However, because each pack or instruction is in stages, she grow curious of what it actually builds. This was a good thing in the beginning. This set definitely requires patience with my little one. Still enjoyable but challenging.
Wow,just wow! Lego you’ve done it again!Just when you think how on earth could Lego get more creative boom…..they do!I am still amazed by the moving parts especially the little surfer dude riding a wave. Now not only do kids have the opportunity to build something really cool but the moving parts enhance their experience with Lego. Their interaction and interest in this product goes above and beyond any Lego product I had growing up and have more than one moving part means more than one child can play together simultaneously. We were all very impressed and so lucky to be one of the first to try out this fantastic product
LEGO Friends Beach Amusement Park is an absolute delight. Watching my niece's joy as she carefully piece together the LEGO and watching the mechanisms come together was great. The attention to detail and vibrant colours were a great feel to the set also, as the beach vibes are some of her favourite scenes with toys/sets. The Ferris wheel's spins were one of her favourite sections of this set however, she loved the designs of the creatures.Overall its a very solid set, but perhaps wouldn't be comparative to some of the other sets around that my niece already has, however, even as an adult, assisting my niece, it was still a lot of fun helping her put this all together.
Wow, what an amazing and very challenging Lego set. It was not very easy to put it together with my child, but she has never given up and we put it together. We like the very colourful and playful set. I am really impressed with the quality of it. We already spent hours of playing with it. The booklet was perfect and made it easy to put the complex set together. There were a lot of spare parts leftover after we finished building it. This set is definitely a great addition to all our other Lego sets we already have in our collection. Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to test this impressive set.
We loved the LEGO Friends Beach Amusement Park. From the working gears to the characters the kids absolutely loved it. We begun by downloading the Lego Builder App and looking through the instruction manual. We opened up each packet as instructed from 1-10 and worked through the instructions to complete each element. Once completed the kids loved moving around the park playing with Zac, Nova, Charli & Dia.They loved coming through the boom gate & used their special golden ticket. After that they had a surf lesson which built up an apptite which meant milkshakes & hotdogs. Then they moved over to win a prize at the amusement games, after a few attempts they won the bunny & the balloon poodle. After playing with their new prizes it was time for a turtle and seahorse ... MoreWe loved the LEGO Friends Beach Amusement Park.
