Last year we got this item and loved it so we were excited about getting this item for this year. And as we started opening at 4 everyday I started getting repeats. They were five minifigures and those that we did not get because the wrong item was placed in the door. So instead of getting a mini figure on a snowboard we got yet another firewood an axe. Very disappointing especially for our 5 year old. And instead of a rocking chair we got another fireplace. Instead of the telescope we got another minifigure with a book. Fairly certain we will not be purchasing again next year. Instead of our kid being excited he was very disappointed

My boys (5 & 3) love their advent calendar. We've had a lot of fun putting it together. There are some days where you're like... huh? Oh well. One day we got Hermione in one of the boxes, but my daughter loves Harry Potter stuff, so we didn't much care. Plus they're so young they just care that they're LEGO. I thought it was a great value, they're still playing with their LEGO, and they love to count down to Christmas with it. It's the first thing they ask about in the morning.

Best present I could have gotten for my sons birthday! My son LOVES legos and his birthday is in November so we got this as a birthday present. He really enjoyed opening a new lego every day to count down to Christmas! Each one different to create a winter scene on the box. He absolutely LOVED it! He told all his friends about it and showed anyone who came to our house over the holidays. Definitely a great purchase!

This was a cute and affordable advent calendar that helped occupy my kids excited energy for the holidays. Our elf on the shelf brought this when he showed up. The box opens up to create a scene with the lego items you build each day. Fun addition to my kids LEGOs even after the holidays too
I usually buy Advent calendars filled with chocolates for the four youngest grandchildren. Since they all love Legos, I opted for the Lego Advent Calendars this year. Several editions were available so I purchased a different one for each of them. Two editions were at a greatly reduced price too! I know any Lego fan would love these.
We opened our first advant calendar from the front with my little one who was about three years old! I bought this one last year and I was really looking forward to opening it.... with only one month of December and three potential advant calendars (LEGO City, Star Wars et Harry Potter), we will have to start opening them in October soon!My son likes to open small windows, there were days when he wanted to open two! He waited until the 24th to get his Santa! Santa Claus in a sleigh pulled by a dog that was what he likes the most!As an adult, I liked seeing a husky, it was a dog we didn't have! I also like the fact that LEGO gives small accessories in duplicate (scarf and the propeller that goes on the cap), it goes very well with any minifig. The rink is very ... MoreWe opened our first advant calendar from the front with my little one who was about three years old! This is the 2nd year I bought the Lego City Advent Calendars and these are just an amazing idea. He gets to open one everyday and we hang them on the Christmas tree. As he gets older he will have his own tree filled with Legos. As always Legos are amazing and a lifelong toy.
Got this for my 6 yr old. He's really into Legos and he loves this thing so far. We've gotten a snowmobile and a snowball launcher. We have a permanent Advent calendar that we fill with candy every year and the kids have been so excited with these calendars that they've completely forgotten about the candy. I didn't think that was possible! This is great for Lego lovers of any age.
Our family has three LEGO advent Calendars, including the Harry Potter advent calendar. The Harry Potter calendar creates a cohesive scene with different days contributing different parts, and has nearly 70 more pieces.I cannot figure out this scene. The base has no indoor component - why are there Christmas presents, two tiny side tables and a chair in the snow? Why is someone reading outside in the winter? Why is only one person playing a two-team curling match?Really disappointed here. It looks like a random amalgam of elements. Too many ‘activities’ and vehicles against the number of minifigures. And frankly, the tiny Christmas tree looks like garbage against the Harry Potter Christmas tree(s).Really disappointed. Make sure box is not broken as it is part of the calendar. It should have mentioned this on outside of box. Have adult open it. I only knew by other people’s reviews!! I thank them. A little expensive but different and both grandsons loved it!! Age 4 and 7
