Each individual LEGO building provides a unique and particularly rewarding building experience. This is also ensured by the true-to-life colour and the true-to-scale replica. I love building a lot of Lego sets. My favorite line is this Architecture line, though. San Francisco looks amazing on a shelf. Lego did a great job with the detail. Highly recommend this set to any Lego enthusiast or anyone looking for a nice hobby

From the first time that I saw this set, I knew that I had to have it.It's absolutely stunning to see in person. The main focus point is obviously the Golden Gate Bridge. Although it's built in a maroon color rather than the bright red orange color it actually is, the Lego designers captured its beauty perfectly with the swinging cables. This part of the model is what made this set a must-have in my book. The other buildings in the set are pretty well captured too. The designers did a great job with the Transamerica Pyramid. I also love the printed bricks used in Alcatraz Island.Overall, the Lego designers really hit a home run with this set. It was a really fun build that looks awesome!

What a beautiful build. As usual with a true LEGO product, no missing pieces and clear instructions. Only minor gripe is that the printing on one of the skyscraper blocks with little windows on it was not properly aligned, but we found a way to place it where it wasn't so noticeable. Very impressed with all the details and the creative build!Item arrived on time and as expected.

What I absolute like about the Lego 21043 San Francisco skyline Architecture is the perspective which gives it more depth than then other architecture models and that makes it a real eye catcher.Construction took me one and a half hour later, a few cups of thee and all 565 parts where in place. Have to say that is a very nice kit to build and it comes with a excellent guild with additional background information about the city and buildings.Having it finished now it brings back a lot of good memories of one of the cities I visited during the 11.500km train ride I made in the USA with my father in 1997.It will be on display in my living room.
After building several other smaller scale products with 4 year old grandson, I thought I would attempt something more challenging to keep busy during the pandemic. I was not disappointed. It was challenging but the easy to follow directions made it a fun adventure. I would agree with another reviewer the dark background made it extremely hard to see some of the detail in the booklet. I did however use the online instruction manual about half ways though which made it a lot easier to see the color detail. I did enjoy and would recommend to friend.
The item itself is fantastic, high quality, premium feeling and well worth the premium price. But moreso than the item, I need to compliment the service and shipping. This set can be tricky to find, at least it was for COVID Christmas, and I wasn't able to order until 2 days before my mother's birthday (the 23rd, she's an SF native). Somehow, someway, through what I can only assume is some dark magic, in the middle of a global pandemic, in the middle of the Christmas season, this package arrived on the 23rd. It was projected to arrive the 28th, which I frankly already found impressive under the circumstances, but this item managed to arrive the morning I planned to make a pathetic and disappointing "still in the mail" birthday card.I should mention, all with ... MoreThe item itself is fantastic, high quality, premium feeling and well worth the premium price. But moreso than the item, I need to compliment the service and shipping. Outstanding, and thank you.
The set itself is fine but the instructions are ridiculously hard to see. I regularly purchase Lego and absolutely adore them. But please, for the love of all things Lego, STOP printing instructions on black pages. Especially when half of the bricks are dark brown. The instructions were practically invisible. See attached image. Probably one of the most ridiculous and unenjoyable building experiences.
As I was preparing myself for an extended hospital stay in San Francisco I ran across this set at a store when I was going to buy a book. I bought this set and am glad I did. It's was kinda cool for me to actually build it in San Francisco. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the build. I had it on display in my hospital room and got many compliments on it. My doctor liked it so much that he went down the street to the Lego Store and bought one for his office and asked me to build it for him. It's a small build but well worth the time. I highly recommend this set.
It’s a quick and easy build, just like the other architecture sets. The end result is stunning for the city. I think the designer did as good of a job as he/she can for the Golden Gate Bridge considering the limited space and pieces. With that said, I hated the fact the instruction manual has black background. With the reflection of the light above, it was a nightmare to follow the instruction with black, brown and dark green pieces. There is a reason why all the books use white background and black letters! One design criticism: the red hook between two bridge towers are not centered. That bothers me quite bit! It is a easy fix. Not sure if it is by design or was over looked.
Yes I was really impressed with the level of detail and the powerful suggestiveness of the bricks to depict the beautiful SF skyline. I am seeing a shift in Lego with their new skyline sets to be more about capturing a scene versus the pure architectural theme of say the New York set which has no scenery and is all about just the buildings. This might be too because NYC is so rich in architecture but NYC also has its share of iconic bridges, ya know what I mean! At first I did not agree with the orientation of the Golden gate bridge towers but Lego's is all about subjectivity and the power of suggestion and I now understand why they did it this way as it presents a much more pleasing view. Nice Job on this city by the bay scene.
