Love this multi-tool! It has all of the features I need for daily useage, but I don't feel that I'm lugging around a huge package when I have it in my pocket. The replaceable wire cutters are a plus, but I find that the sides of the tool tend to cut into you a little bit when using the pliers for heavy duty cutting and gripping.Overall a great buy.

Classic design, along the same lines as the original Leatherman multitool. Bought this one for its tool selection, especially the saw and awl, to use for hiking and backpacking. Good size and weight. Replaceable wire cutters are a bonus. Like the fact all the tools lock open. Pliers were very very stiff at first, and took a long time to loosen up, but now opens and closes like butter. Now for the negatives - due to the design, they can be uncomfortable during heavy use. Gloves are recommended. Also a minor gripe - all the tools come out at once when trying to lock open one. Washers to prevent this would've been a nice touch. All on all, a very good, value packed, mid sized multitool. As long as you understand the limitations of its design, I'm sure you will enjoy ...Β MoreClassic design, along the same lines as the original Leatherman multitool. Bought this a few weeks back and I've been finding a use for it every day on the job, having it in my pocket saves a trip back to the tool bag for a bigger tool. My one tip is to use the knives and saws from a half handle hold, with the rest of the tool in your palm, rather than folding the knife out and then folding the sides closed again. Leave them open, way more comfortable! It's a sturdy tool, and well reviewed out there.

As a tradesmen the Rebar has saved me countless trips down my ladder or to the work truck. As an outdoorsman it's light enough to keep around your belt for easy access whenever you may need it. From cutting fishline to tightening your binding mid hill you cant go wrong with the Rebar.I oil mine up and work them for a few minutes and they are good to go. You'll loose it before your break it. I'm on my third pair!
I am a longtime fan of Leatherman multi-tools and have used them for years, carrying one model or another every day.Pros:I bought this tool for the combination of features it has, including replaceable wire cutter jaws and ruler on frames. All of the fold out tools feature a frame lock feature which I also find desirable in a multi-tool.Cons:This tool is held together by rivets or some type of screwnut which is not easily removed or adjusted. The recessed frames leave something to be desired. Effective as a cost cutting feature but with a moderately hard grip on the pliers, the rolled edges still pinch the fingers or palm of your hand. I would rather have paid more to have had a beefier milled frame with rounded edges. If the blades and tools were ...Β MoreI am a longtime fan of Leatherman multi-tools and have used them for years, carrying one model or another every day.Pros:I bought this tool for the combination of features it has, including replaceable wire cutter jaws and ruler on frames. All of the fold out tools feature a frame lock feature which I also find desirable in a multi-tool.Cons:This tool is held together by rivets or some type of screwnut which is not easily removed or adjusted. The recessed frames leave something to be desired. I would rather have paid more to have had a beefier milled frame with rounded edges. If the blades and tools were accessible with the handles closed, the pressed handles would be much friendlier on the hands and the tool would be more useable overall. For the price, its not a bad buy and I will keep it in my vehicle or quad as it is still a good little toolbox to keep handy.
This is a great tool but if carry weight and price aren't an option, then go with a Surge. It has everything this knife but has heavier duty scissors and is much more comfortable.
excellent
