Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Lens for Nikon Z From tight interior spaces to vast landscapes, the Venus Optics Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 Zoom Lens lets you compose your shots with ease. Designed for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, this compact and lightweight lens is an excellent choice for landscape, cityscape, and architectural shooting. Well-suited for travel photography, the lens also features a 5.9′′ minimum focusing distance for dramatic wide-angle macro shots. Additionally, the lens is engineered with five aperture blades, which create dynamic 10-point sun stars when shooting towards a strong light source. The lens’s optical design incorporates both extra-low dispersion and aspherical elements in order to correct a variety of aberrations and distortions for sharper, clearer image quality and accurate color rendering. Additionally, a Frog Eye Coating has been applied to repel dust and moisture from the front element of the lens to benefit working in trying environmental conditions. Ultra-wide-angle zoom designed for full-frame Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, this 10-18mm lens can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an 18-36mm equivalent focal length range. Three extra-low dispersion elements reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing for increased clarity and color neutrality. Two aspherical elements are also featured to limit spherical aberrations for improved sharpness. Manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 5.6′′ away for dramatic wide-angle macro photography. Five diaphragm blades create crisp 10-point sun-stars when photographing point light sources with smaller aperture sizes. A Frog Eye Coating has been applied to repel both dust and moisture for added protection when working in inclement conditions. Especially sleek design measures just 2.7 x 3.8′′ and weighs approximately 1 lb.
