I ABSOLUTELY love a natural finish. For example Bobbi Brown Skin and og and Body are my absolute favorite foundations. Tient Idole is more on the matte side, but it falls into a unique caterogry of matte where it never looks thick or mask-like. It is probably the most natural, skin-like matte finish I've personally ever tried. My problem is the shade range. Though there are many to choose from, almost all of them are way too peach or warm, leaning Orange and sometimes pink. In Tient Idole, I currently own Bisque 340 N and it is a great match when I have a slight tan. I am olive skinned and can get pretty light in the winter, so I wanted a shade or two down from 340 N. Same tone, just lighter. When I swatched all the possible contenders in store, every single shade down from 340 N (between light - medium and medium) was entirely too warm and peachy. On top of it, they oxidized heavily on the back of my hand, turning almost two shades darker in some cases! I don't notice such heavy oxidization with my 340 N, however I have had it several years so maybe they've reformulated since then. Lancome, please add more truly neutral tones to this lineup. All the shades, with the exception of 340 N (which is truly a neutral medium tone), marketed as neutral in the light-medium range are not neutral at all and cannot work with my olive undertone, or probably anyone with a yellow undertone for that matter. I'd love to repurchase since mine is almost gone and I'm in need of a winter shade, but sadly I don't think I can find it in this formula

It creates a natural-looking, slightly glowy finish that feels so lightweight and incredibly comfortable. Two pumps of the liquid masks my redness and dark spots but still allows my natural skin and freckles to shine through. If I’m going for a more involved makeup look or don’t want to see my freckles, three pumps usually does the trick. No matter how much I apply, it’s really easy to blend with a damp sponge. Because the foundation has a subtle radiant finish, it layers well with cream-based bronzer, blush and highlighter. I’ve also dusted setting powder over my T-zone and didn’t notice any caking or flaking. I wear 220C, which matches my slightly cool undertones perfectly. I know I’m not supposed to touch my face throughout the day, but when I do and I’m wearing this foundation, my skin feels super smooth, bouncy and hydrated, to which I credit the formula’s hyaluronic and mandelic acids. I have yet to road-test the product’s 24-hour wear, but I have worn the foundation for up to 12 hours, and the coverage held up beautifully. No streaks, no fading and no caking. When I take off my makeup at the end of the day, my skin doesn't feel taut or dry either. It feels like I’ve had a layer of serum sitting on my skin, nourishing my skin all day. Since adding this foundation into my routine, I feel like my skin actually looks glowier and more hydrated when I’m not wearing makeup, too.

The cons - the shade is still a bit dark/ peachy for my skin and it oxidizes (it will probably be a good summer match for me, but for now I use LA Girl blue and white mixers to neutralize and lighten), It's not very hydrating, so if you have very dry skin this might not be great for you, I didn't find it to be glowy as the name implies so if that's what's you are looking for you might be disappointed. I don't have sensitive skin so it's not an issue for me, but I want to mention it is perfumed with a floral fragrance that lingers for a short while after application. I have already read some reviews of people being dissappointed by this aspect, but for me, I was pleasantly surprised by it. The formula also has a chemical sunscreen, ensulizole, giving it an spf rating of 27. It' not enough to skip your normal spf base, but still, it's nice to have in there, I think. It has a pump application, which is my preference for foundation, so I was happy about that. There is a light floral scent, which is expected from an established brand like Lancome, but the scent fades quickly was only noticeable upon application. I have enjoyed applying this both with my fingers and with a brush, though a sponge picked up too much product for me to get the coverage I wanted. (Gotta cover my red cheeks!) I was able to build to medium coverage, as advertised. I am extremely happy with my shade match for my paper white skin. There is a total of 30 shades, which you will have to decide if that is enough or not. Overall, I have been loving wearing this one. It is easy to apply, feels weightless on the skin, wears well on me through the day. This will likely be a repurchase from me in the future.

I have combination skin, and I tend to get very oily in my t-zone area,So I usually go for a natural or a satin matte finish I've never used the glow types as my go to. In my experience they tend to leave me very oily. I will say I did not feel this product left me feeling over oily it has sunscreen in it so I had to use less of my moisturizer that also had sunscreen in it during my second application as well as blotting papers, and on my third application, I skipped my moisturizer with sunscreen and used a non-sunscreen based moisturizer, it lasted even longer for me. I also love that the pump on this bottle of foundation you could press it very lightly and just the tiniest shop will come out or you can fully press down to get a full pump there is no waste! this foundation will last you a long time.
