I can see why so many people enjoy this perfume, as it works perfectly for all occasions. The scent has a sort of uplifting effect thanks to the strong fruity top notes - I could imagine spritzing this at the start of a productive day. Admittedly I still like the Nectar rendition the best, as I feel the vanilla here more easily falls to the background. The Nectar is a much more sweet and decadent scent that I believe suits me just a tad better. This perfume is a staple for any Lancôme fan - the perfect way to start this calendar!

This perfume smells like roses. It smells fruity and sweet and almost like a perfumed face powder from the 80s and 90s. It’s a pleasing and inoffensive smell. Safe. I like it but the more I wear it, the more I find myself wishing for something with a little more umph, a little more personality. I can barely smell it after a few hours so the staying power isn’t great. Lastly, I am not a fan of the bottle. It’s awkward and can’t stand on its own so I have to lay it down flat which takes up a lot of space. The sillage of the scent is noticeable, the composition is very diffuse and creates a fragrant cloud around you. It is a really subtle aura that surrounds you. If we talk about when to wear this fragrance, then for me it is absolutely summer. It is in the summer that you want to be watered with something sunny, something light, careless. It is especially good on warm sunny days, when you don't want anything loud and heavy. I think I will spend the last month of the summer with this fragrance

Today I am reviewing the exciting new iteration of the Idôle line of perfumes. Idôle Aura is a delicious scent that comes to me in this sample vial as a complimentary gift with purchase. The liquid holds this delicate rosy pink hue, and the image of the bottle looks exquisite - displayed in a monochromatic pink ambience and circled with inspirational messages written in the ground. I actually really enjoy the smell of this fragrance, as it is simple and doesn’t require any one specific personality to wear it. The olfactory trail mostly focuses on the salty rose essence as it cleans the air and paves the way for newfound clarity. The fragrance was inspired by the idea of each person realizing their fullest potential in order to make a lasting impact on the world.

You have your roses as the florally summery scent, then this perfume is bound together between seductive jasmine, and it opens up into this shift between a salted vanilla which is almost a musky vanilla that lays nicely within the sweet and spicy category which I really like in a fragrance!
Love the fragrance, hate the bottle design. I get so many compliments on this fragrance itself and I’ve repurchased it multiple times. The last time I bought the 1.7oz size, there was a platform on the bottle that allowed it to be stored vertically, unassisted. My most recent purchase of the 3.4oz bottle has no platform and cannot stand vertically on its own.I know the description says that it is meant to lay flat on the vanity, but that is not realistic as it takes up a lot of space, and, most importantly, there is an increased risk for leaks. The fragrance is amazing and the bottle is beautiful, but this is a huge drawback in the design of the bottle.The bottle design is the only reason I didn’t rate this fragrance 5/5 starts.
