This is a malt that everyone should try. It has a wonderful depth of flavour.
Lagavulin is a great Dram but getting very expensive for a 12yo , although it is a Feis Ile bottling
Complete joke. How they can put this out and charge this money is beyond belief
The 12 year old is super its gently spicy with citrus notes but its not as good as the 2020 Feis 20 year old which is still my favourite. Maybe its an unfair comparison but I'm down to my last bottle of it and am not looking forward to when its gone but hey there's still the 16 year old which is a brammer.
It is quite a nice whisky, put compared to the 12yo Cask Strength from 2021 it just does not deliver the quality of the latter one. It especially misses the 'oomph'.Combined with the price tag unfortunately this whisky is underwhelming.

Not enjoyable young, unbalanced whisky. And at this price, it put me off Diageo products in general.
Well actually the first Feis Ile bottle I didn’t buy. I think Diageo missed the point here; a disappointing whisky for an ultra premium price.
