I received a generous trial size of this lotion at Nordstrom and loved it. It goes on smoothly and did not irritate my sensitive skin. However I have taken points off because of the large clumsey bottle. It takes up too much room and is awkward to use. I would need to pour this lotion into smaller bottles. I have settled on a similar lotion of another brand from the store that they helped me pick out. I can't imagine someone with a hand or finger problem trying to deal with this bottle. I use other products from this line and feel that they could have done much better with a streamlined or smaller bottle. I find the absents of other reviews strange.

Excellent product. It provides a freshness and illuminating quality to my skin. When used, as per instruction, I have seen amazing results with glowing skin tone.
Clarifying lotion has a nice scent and works
This is the first La Prairie product I've ever used so I had high expectations that unfortunately were not met. I've been using the Essence Extraordinaire for over a month now and can't say that it has provided any benefit to my skin health. It actually feels like it's doing the opposite - my skin seems to feel drier and a bit reddened after applying. I also haven't noticed any brightening effect or reduction in dark spots. I also find the perfume quite cloying and unnecessary. I would not purchase this again and do not recommend, especially to someone with sensitive skin.
I have been using this product for almost 2 weeks and I can see great improvement. I tend to have dark under eye circles and this lotion has made a huge difference also I have seen a real noticeable reduction in the darks on my face!
