La Prairie Skin Caviar Essence in Foundation SPF 25 Honey Beige

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I've been increasingly using Beauty Affairs over some of the other e-commerce websites like Look fantastic and Strawberry net. Not only are they comparable on price their customer service blows the others out of the water. As soon as you have an issue that requires customer service to be, involved you notice the huge difference. Beauty Affairs went to lengths to resolve an issue where I purchased the incorrect skincare product while on offer. The process of exchanging it, even though the product wasn't on offer anymore, was very easy and definitely far better than my experience with other sites.

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I just have to take a moment to give a shout-out to the team over Beauty Affairs and this awesome little (perhaps not so little :)) company. EVERY time I place an order, it's always perfect. Great deals and prices, great communication, super-fast delivery, great range of GENUINE products. I can't even tell you what their customer service is like because I've never had need of it before! I have found THE ONE! My holy grail of holy grails! I'm fair-neutral, combo skin. I emailed la prairie asking for samples of this foundation to try out the formula and hopefully find my shade match. After a few months of hiccups, it finally arrived today! I can't begin to describe just how special this formula is and I'm struggling because, I immediately want to buy a full size! A little goes a LONG way, it is as close to a second skin as I have ever seen, the amount of coverage with just a couple small dabs is out of this world and best of all? It's not settling into any of my fine lines or pores! This foundation is so incredibly beautiful, I already never want to be without it! Even though it's a couple shades too dark, I was able to lighten it a bit with my Charlotte Tilsbury pressed powder then a bit more with my coty airspun and surprisingly they didn't dry out or cake up the foundation! It just took it like a champ and I feel so comfortably set! My blush and highlighter blended so seamlessly over it, I can't wait to keep testing out this amazing foundation! This might be one of those times when the astronomical price is worth the results!

Best foundation I've ever used

Hands down this is the best foundation I've ever used. I'm not super talented with makeup and just have some basics down. I'm in my early 30's, work in entertainment, and am often working on red carpets next to many people who have had professional makeup done. I have been asked more than a few times now (even by some of my clients makeup artists) who did my makeup since I started using this foundation. Implying they thought it was professionally done. (For these glam work days I just do basic foundation, brows, mascara, blush and/or highlight, lipstick, maybe a little powder.)While the names of the colors are not the most accurate, the shade I wear is a perfect color match for me. My complexion is pale olive but my Skin Caviar Essence-In-Foundation foundation ... MoreHands down this is the best foundation I've ever used. I recommend even if you like dewy, after some hours you will need a little powder anyway.

While using a small amount will give you very light coverage, it’s definitely buildable. Not for those with very oily skin, my skin is pretty normal and this is hydrating and dewy by nature as a finish. Sometimes I add a little powder on top, depending on if I’m trying to really “set it” for super long wear for a long work day working. Usually though I like the dewy look and only add a touch of powder after a few hours when my skin has built up a little oil. My skin feels cared for and this foundation doesn’t crease into my wrinkles. The smell is pleasant and I love the skin care ingredients (caviar tech) which make me feel better about wearing full face makeup bc I feel like I’m also helping the condition of my skin at the same time. Yes, I bought a $200 foundation..

Sounds like pure madness. Until you use it. This is the most amazing product I've ever tried! Admittedly I don't need/like a lot of coverage, but this looks like you are wearing nothing and literally have perfect skin! Has a slight mattifying effect for the T zone which is nice. I only bought it because of receiving sample with a prior order, so good move by La Prarie! Also I got the Creme Peche color, which name is somewhat misleading as it's not peachy at all -- it's just a perfect light neutral. Again, wouldn't have picked this color by the name had I not tried it in the sample. If you want to splurge on a makeup product, this is definitely the one! One downside -- I can't seem to find replacement sponges for it. I would like to get the La Prairie original sponges.
