I have incredibly sensitive skin, so I have to be wary of everything. But once again, La Mer has saved the day. This cleanser is everything. It is gentle enough to be used on my uber sensitive skin, and gets makeup and dirt off perfectly. It leaves my skin feeling clean and clear with a glow to it. I will absolutely be buying again.

It included this cleanser, a toner, and the amazing Creme de la Mer. How could I ever forget the smell. Amazing.Fast forward to 2021 I love this cleanser. Hands down the best skincare cleanser I have ever used. Through the years I have experienced oily and dry skin stages and this cleanser is gentle enough to clean without drying out too much. The fresh fragrance is a welcome start and finish to my daily skincare regime. So happy this cleanser is again available after being out of stock for so long! Yay!

I would recommend saving money and using the Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser instead. This actually works really well. My skin doesn't feel dry after using this cleanser. I have tried the La Mer foam cleanser and found that to be a bit too drying (I have combination skin). It has a similar scent to the La Mer foam cleanser (maybe slightly stronger) but I like it and I'm not bothered by the scent. It can also remove sunscreen (Mecca to save face sunscreen) so that's an added bonus. Not too sure if it can remove heavier sunscreen though. All in all, I really like this cleanser and definitely recommend it.
I prefer gel cleansers and always like trying different brands. I bought the La Mer cleansing gel and have been pleasantly surprised. When they say you don't need a lot, you really don't. I've a "big" face so tend to use a little more than is usually recommended. Not in this case. It lathers up easily, washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I've oily skin and it deals with the sebum without drying or making my skin feel tight. A bit more than I would usually pay for a cleanser, but it has been lasting me a while. Do like and would seriously consider purchasing again.
I love this cleansing gel. It smells lovely, herbal, and clean. You do not have to use much and it foams and cleanses well. I have oily skin and after using this gel my face feels clean but not tight or dry. It is expensive but will last a long time since each use only requires a small amount.
