I see that there isn't a review for the water proof mascara so I decided to review them both here. I know lots of people love this product, but there is just something that isn't quite right. The formula is very wet, so those are for people who like wet mascaras. I am just not a wet mascara girl, more of dry mascara girl. Since it was wet, when i blink or do a mistake, the mascara gets everywhere but the eyelash. But that is just how clumsy I am. Another thing is that as soon as I apply it on my lashes, they drop down. But honestly this product is good for me when i don't curl my lashes, because it makes it look SOOO natural. Its all about the wand!

I received this product from Superdrug as part of the customer community, I was very interested in this Mascara because of all the hype surrounding it.So it's all about the new style double sided brush, front hooked bristles on one side and side hooked bristles on the other, with a flat underside. The shade on the lips is a slightly palercolour than that in the tube, but I really liked it, I think it would lookgreat to balance & complement any look from fully made-up , or a natural everyday 'no make-up' look. I received this product from Superdrug as a member of the Community and happy to have been selected as a daily wearer of mascara.I was really excited to test L'Oréal Telescopic Lift Mascara in black after seeing the results and positive feedback online.Mascara is my go to! It's the one makeup product I can't go without! Slight addiction with a collection over 20! Starting at the root was painful as I caught my eye with the plastic brush applicator! ended up with the formula on my eyelid and found my lashes was quickly clingy together aswell as getting little clumps in between my lashes and at the ends!Before second application after my lashes was dry I got a cotton bud with makeup remover on to remove excess formula off my eyelid then continued to apply the second coat with difficulty trying to get the inner lashes and corner without knocking my eye!I did however notice my lashes did look longer & lifted but I didnt get the look I was hoping to achieve with this mascara and the separation of lashes just didn't happen!I had to use tweezers to part them from each other! I don't recommend using that technique as it's very dangerous!But i had no bobby pins which I would usually use to separate lashes.Later in the day the formula smudged when cooking and found little speckles of the black dried formula around my eye and check area.The mascara wasn't difficult to get off with a oil based make up remover.Overall I am glad to have tried and tested this mascara and it did lengthen & lift my lashes and is infused with a great ingredient ceramide but it's totally not for me.●9.9ml●6M●Infused with Ceramide●24 hour lift●Exclusive two-sided brush

I'm not a fan of plastic bristled wands at the best of times but this one is next level awkward! It is more of a flat paddle shape (see pictures) which has bristles on three sides (so forget the wiggle roll application technique we all know and love from regular spherical wands) which requires you to first "lift and load lashes using the front hook bristles from root to tip" followed by "use the side hook comb to seperate your lashes for added volume and length" - complicated much?!Now I really like the idea of 'double hooked bristles' and think they'd work exceptionally well on a regular shaped wand but on this flat paddle one, they're awful! Come the fifth attempt, I worked as quickly as possible to apply one coat by brushing the product through just once and putting up with the shape my lashes were in and while the overall look wasn't exactly satisfactory, it was better than the previous efforts. My lashes did look longer, more voluminous and defined but like I said, didn't look as nice as I like them to be. Mascara application should NOT be this difficult, as such, I would not repurchase or indeed recommend this product.On a plus point, the mascara is a beautiful rich black, lashes didn't feel too crispy, it did not flake throughout the day, didn't irritate my eyes and was easy to remove with regular cleanser.

Overall, this is not a mascara I would get again or indeed recommend - L'Oréal Air Volume 30hr mascara all the way for me!

The weird paddle style brush coupled with the wet formula made me skeptical about this Telescopic Lift Waterproof. I’ve used the regular Telescopic, which I love, so this was intriguing. My pro tip is to pump this and then quickly remove. This will clean out the brush without wasting product. The formula, because it’s moist, needs to thin out / dry out a bit. This technique has helped me. You can actually use the paddle side very close and on your upper waterline to give your eyes a natural definition without using a liner. Looks really nice. Then flip up and outwards and the brush will catch all the lashes. The formula sets quickly and realllllly stays on during the hottest, the saddest of days. The perfect wand for separating lashes

So i bought this on a whim , after wearjng lash extensions for 15 years I am on a lash break . So i have a ton of lashes thick and short but needing some TLC. I have only worn Trish M past 20 years - so I am testing several brands currentlyThis wand is amazing YES its like a comb not a fluffy wand but thay gives great separation and also heat the tube if its clumping (blow drying or set in a cup of hot water ) works great . I am a retired MUA estheticiaand a masc nerd . If you own this ans are mot loving it here's a tip for using this wand1) prime lashes 2) dont start at the water line move up the lash a bit if the wand is too sharp 3) warm the tube before applying makes it glide on .I use trish on my bottom lashes Always to prevent racoon eyes ....so I cant ... MoreSo i bought this on a whim , after wearjng lash extensions for 15 years I am on a lash break . Too much product

Using different mascara products always left me worrying I'd be wasting money, this one would be no different. Upon first opening and looking at the lash wand I was a little curious as to why the bristles were on just 50% of the wand. Its strange to me why L'Oréal designers thought this was a good idea. It takes longer to do your lashes with it as you have to be mindful that you are brushing your lashes with the bristles and not the flat side which can be drowned in product. The amount of product once you attempt to use it is unbelievable, using the opening of the mascara container multiple times to ensure my lashes wouldn't look like a wet tarantula is not my idea of fun and is massively time consuming. Totally Amazing Telescopic Length
