L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Xpert 102 Cool Blonde

I was surprised how much I enjoyed using the L’Oreal Paris Brow Artist Xpert, which was a bit of an impulse purchase! It is a great dupe for some of the higher end brow products. One of the best features is that it is a mechanical pencil which is very easy to use. It also means no sharpening and no product wastage. It also conveniently has a spoolie on the other end which works well for brushing through the brows to distribute the product evenly after filling them in. The well designed triangular shaped tip makes it easy to define and sculpt out the brows with no-fuss. I use the shade Warm Brown which blends in beautifully with my natural brows. \n\nOverall, it is a great product at a very affordable price point - it’s become one of my go-tos to quickly and easily groom my brows in the morning!\n

Delighted to find my favourite eyebrow pencil and even better at a reduced price. This product has been discontinued by L’Oréal and the replacement is hopeless. The new cool blonde(if you can find it) is a different colour and turns my eyebrows orange! Ordered 6 will probably get some more.

To top it off as Ive aged my brows have become grey with wirey stick out hairs and almost invisible. \nThis lovely little crayon is great to look at in a nice silver tube with a crayon one end and a spoolie the other. I liked that the spoolie has a clear cap so you can clearly see which end you want to use. I often find that brow pencils intended for brown brows are too warm in tone, with a lightly reddish colouring that looks quite unnatural on me as my brows are definitely cool-toned. This one however, is ideal as it's an ashy tone and looks a lot more natural. I also like the pencil/brush combination and the angled shape of the pencil, which makes it easier to fill in or be precise according to my needs. The only issue I found with this pencil is that it tends to be a bit on the hard side and needs a bit of pressure to get good colour build-up. It seems to soften a bit when it's warmer, so I give it a quick blast with the hairdryer before using it. This is a completely new 'Ball Game".I followed the instructions and brushed my brow hairs upward and then into shape. This was a lovely firm quality brush. I then lightly applied the colour which covered well and brushed again to make sure I had an even 'spread'. This even covered my couple of grey hard!! Well I thought I would try this colour out as it's near to the natural colour my hair is. At first look I really like the packaging with the brush at one size and the pencil at the other was perfect. I tried the colour on my eye brow and it was perfect. The shape of the pencil was great to as it's slanted, this made it much easier to apply. I have over plucked my eye brows so have very little but with this pencil I was able to make them as thick as I like them with the triangular pencil and fill in where my eye brow is missing from an accident I had a few years ago. I had many compliments about my eye brows, but not one of them noticed I had used a pencil. They all said that they looked very natural & would never have known. I really like this one. This specific color has just been too dark for me but I have a lighter one now that I really love. I like that it comes it a brush. The texture is a little soft but still stays on for a long time. I normally still see it after a whole day.

Colour changing?!

I bought this for the first time, wanting to try a brow pencil. I ordered the colour brunette.When it arrived, I tried it straight away and loved the consistency and the colour match was perfect. Fast forward a few hours and the colour had changed in my eyebrows to a red? My eyebrows looked sunburnt. When I looked back at the pencil itself, the dried parts had also turned red. I’m not sure if I have a faulty one as all the other reviews are good. But word of warning, it changes colour after wearing!

Cool blonde loreal brow artist pencil

I love this pencil! I've been using it for years, I'm pretty obsessed with my brows and have tried pomades, powders, fine liners...the lot! And even after spending loads on benefit and Anastasia, I still come back to this pencil, its just easy to use, a great colour and stays put (i have oily skin, so have found plenty of other brow products move or disappear during the day)I have dark brown hair and am super fair, but I find this pencil is a great colour as it's not warm like so many I've tried, nobody wants orangey browsI use this and then a brow gel to keep everything in place and it works wonders, basically I cant recommend it enough!
