After spending a huge amount on a Karcher Sc5 which repeatedly had to be repaired and I was refused a refund from Karcher.. ( took extended warranty with John Lewis who did refund) I went back to this basic model. It’s light so I can easily handle. I previously had this and it was great for cleaning and using no chemicals a plus.The only downside is how wet the floors are after cleaning and how long it takes the floor to dry after use .Improvement definitely needed in this sense .I use a cloth to dry but then it kind of defeats the purposeI would recommend Karcher for the product but not for customer care service. Please read the small print for returns / faulty items .

If you are here because of Brit’s TikTok’s, then just know, it’s legit IYKYK. I love using this on our wooden windows, toilet and bathroom areas. Heck anything you can clean. Recently cleaned my parent’s kitchen which required a much needed deep clean and sanitisation. Was so happy that it broke down the gunk everywhere and made it easy to wipe off, let alone sanitised it. Highly recommended and you’ll never stop using it. My only suggestion is for stronger pressure.

So I thought I’d try this ans got an amazing deal direct from Karcher. It’s brilliant. I can fill it with a litre of water which lasts ages and it’s so effective. I love the fact it’s not an upright so the handle is so light and much easier to use. The mop head is flat so it really gets under difficult places. It makes my kitchen worktops shiny and stream free and gets out stains. Same for my sink. Floors are clean and dry streak free so quickly. But the main bonus is my carpets look amazing! They come up like new with a quick go over with this steamer. All the pet and food stains are gone. Can’t recommend this enough. Needs a cord ... I use it to mop floors, sinks, bench tops, clean bathrooms and toilets, windows (purchased specific attachments for this) my fridge/freeze, spot clean rugs & couches, walls before painting. It seems to clean the floors okay but, as mentioned by previous reviewers, it leaves a lot of residual water on the floor which has made me very concerned and I've only used it on the low setting as a result. I'm disappointed because I can't see how you could use it on your carpets, and that was one of the features that appealed to me.The instructions are pretty dire. They've got so many warnings throughout it's hard to find the actual instructions to see how to use each of the accessories.Please also be aware that you only receive the items shown in the main photo; some of the accessories included in the product information download are extras at an additional cost (take note of the checked boxes next to them).I agree ... I honestly thought my house was super clean because I have two big dogs, I’m always cleaning the floor with the power mop after they’ve been outside.But goodness this gadget has opened my eyes!I prefer upright cleaners because it’s a bit of an awkward contraption to store otherwise and I’m not keen pulling something behind me.
