I purchased this rug a few months ago. I wish I could refund. It’s ruined my vacuum cleaner and my couch. The threads are all over my clothes and the rug is falling to pieces. I cannot vacuum this rug without my vacuum getting clogged. I can’t walk on this rug without threads being walked through the house or being stuck to clothes. The fact that this rug can still be purchased is disgusting in spotlights behalf

I have purchased 3 of these rugs now and it is the same problem every time. They look great and beautiful to walk on when you first get one. Within a couple of weeks the threads start to come out of the rug, then after a couple of months the pile starts to flatten. You can get the pile back up by vacuuming it but the moment you walk on it, it flattens again. After about another 2 months the rug looks and feels terrible! The pile has gone all together and where you sit, your feet have left a gross flat hard impression on the rug. So basically the rug has lasted less than 6 months. I have replaced the same rug 3 times thinking it may have been a flaw in the rug before but I now think that its just how it is so I suggest if you like this rug and want it to last longer, ... MoreI have purchased 3 of these rugs now and it is the same problem every time. Beautiful colour (more turquoise than teal) and soft, thick pile. This rug looked and felt amazing... unfortunately the strands kept falling out even after daily vacuuming and spread to every area of the house. I reluctantly had to return due to the poor quality. Please bring a better quality version of this rug in, I would buy again in an instant if the shedding problem was rectified.

I purchased this rug roughly 4-5 months ago. When I first got it home I noticed some shedding of the shag and considered it normal for a shag rug to do that initially. However it is now several months later and this rug is still continuously shedding. I am forced to vacuumevery single day just to remove the colouredfibres from all over my house. I am almost tothe point of throwing it in the bin out offrustration even though I love the look and feel of it. Perhaps there is an issue with the fixation or weaving of the shag pile? I don’t know but perhaps this issue could be rectified in further productions.
I bought mine 2 years ago... just jumped online to have a looksy if they were still selling them as I'd like to buy another so I can put them side by side to have a mega rug. Reading so much disappointment about shedding! Never had an issue myself. I've even had it cleaned twice as my dog had an accident on it. Still super soft, no shedding and still looks fantastic. Maybe there were some bad batches made. Not sure if I should but another now lol
Beautiful, soft, fluffy rug! Feels amazing to lay on and walk on. Love the colour and texture. Downside - strings come loose a lot and if you use the same spot too often it gets matted.I wish there was a bigger size! I have two of the biggest sizes and use them together on the lounge room and it creates a relaxing and comfy space to hang out.
I bought this recently and at first I was so happy, it was so nice and soft under foot and to lay on but oh my gosh, we had to remove it from our house! It was shedding everywhere! Everytime you’d walk or lay on it there would be bits everywhere! We were vacuuming our house three plus times a day and it was still everywhere! All over our clothes furniture floor, we tried giving it a good vacuum to see if there were just bits that weren’t stuck down properly but it just kept coming out! So much so there are patches missing from the rug! So disappointed I wasted $180 on this! I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. So much money to spend to have a product not fit for use!
If it were possible to give this product a minus score, I would give it -10.This carpet disintegrated into a micro size fibre that covered everything in my home. I thought my home had a serious dust issue, until I realised it was this carpet from Spotlight.After experiencing uncontrolled sneezing, I decided to remove the carpet. I was horrified by the amount and spread of this micro fluff that was behind all furniture and had formed a film upon everything. This product is not fit for sale and is a serious health concern.I have had to purchase a air purifier to eliminate this contamination. I am not happy.
I wrote a review a few months into having this rug to note that it sheds like crazy.I had hoped the shedding would die down, but I write another review to regretfully update you. The shedding did not decrease. There is a major issue with the yarn being inadequately knotted to the weave and it takes very little to pull it out.And so, all my belongings now look like a muppet met a vicious demise. Blue strands go to school with my children on their clothing and stuck on their shoes. It rides to work on my partners back. It is strewn non-discretely along our driveway as my children carry it outdoors. I am looking for a replacement and am disappointed to have lost money on this dud.
After seeing some other reviews I was a bit concerned when I ordered this rug. However, having the rug in place, it is incredibly soft and comfortable under foot with no problems at the moment. Looking forward to enjoying the comfort for some time
