My aging boy doesn't play with toys as much as he used to, but he immediately took to the scrunch knots fox. Whenever he is feeling particularly happy, he now runs to the toy basket to retrieve the fox and for a few moments play tug of war or keep-away with his sister.

My dogs have had the whole set of these toys and they are one of the sturdiest toys that I've found. They are now on their 2nd set, whilst with the right determination dogs can break almost anything, these toys do withstand an awful lot of rough and tumble. With 2 clumbers and a goldie playing/ dragging each other about with them they withstand an awful lot. Will deffinately buy again.

I have bought both the raccoon and the squirrel in both sizes since I have a small terrier and a large Lab and a Beagle. The little terrier mix loves to shake the squirrel like she's going to tear it to pieces and the Lab likes to chomp on it and play tug of war with it I'm amazed to say that the squirrel is still holding up to the abuse as I would call it, and is still together after a month! This is the first time they haven't been able to destroy a toy like this in a long time. Very pleased with it over all and the only thing I would say is that I wish the squeaker was in a different place and perhaps was one that only dogs could hear as my Terrier loves to make the squeaker constantly squeak. Both of my dogs are in the 3 to 8 year range but again are different ...Β MoreI have bought both the raccoon and the squirrel in both sizes since I have a small terrier and a large Lab and a Beagle. These toys have, so far, survived my puppy who loves to carry them around in his mouth all day and sleeps with them at night! The only toy demolished so far is the cute little bumble bee that was for my kitty - the dogs just ate him to death, though there is still a little skin left!!! Hope they didn't get stung!!!
Our working cocker spaniel loves these toys. Already had the squirrel. Unfortuantely the squeaker on the newly purchased racoon doesn't seem to work but not an issue for us or dog.
My 6 month old CKC puppy absolutely loves the fox and the other one which we call βweaselβ! Well worth the money, good and strong.
Didn't last two days... My 3 month old Belgian Mal ripped a hole in the back of its head and pulled the rope out of it (the toy is essentially a coiled rope stuffed inside an animal). Pretty disappointed as the rope adds weight to it which naturally, she likes given the high prey drive Mals have. Also, I'm convinced I was delivered a medium one, 'cause it's small af for a "large".
Jaguar loves this toy. He was chewing on it for a while, he was really interested in the knots. When he finally got the rope out of the fox, he spent a good chunk of time trying to tear it up. It gave me plenty of time to fold 2 loads of laundry! I love that there is no fluff in this toy. No mess to clean up except the rope pieces.
This is the only toy my dog hasnβt destroyed and heβs had it for months. He plays with it most days of the week. I should say we play as itβs either a game of chase, tug, or fetch. Kong is phasing this line of toys out so I bought another squirrel, fox, and raccoon. I love these toys. I wish they still made them.
I received this for a puppy ( under 6 mos) who seems to teeth on toys considerably more than some. This toy is soft and sturdy! I can see he enjoys it and it takes his mind off from other potential household chewing possibilities! I highly recommend!
