I had my last pair of these for 25 years and they are now in need of replacing. I highly recommend them. They have been used heavily over the last 25 years being a professional electrician. I paid a lot more 25 years ago too. If you are looking for a long lasting pair of snips then these are the ones to go for.

I needed a small pair of cutters as my current are too big for some smaller jobs e.g. working with flex. I have heard a lot of good things about Knipex so I bought these. They are nice to use and cut through cable with ease. I have only used them a few times so I can't say much about reliability, but so far so good!
A good quality pair of cutters, Ive been using these for years and I have worn them out it takes around two years and then I replace them. Wouldnt use anything else
Amazing blades, nice and sharp, with no gap from new. No free play in the the pivot either. Comfortable handles, just amazing all round. Never really thought thered be such a difference in quality with cutters, but now I do. Wont be abusing these, they are too nice to.
Had 3 sets of these. Use them on Data cable and cable upto 2.5mm3 sets and they've all gone blunt or they start to stick, require regular oiling.I then bought a set of CK side cutters. Haven't looked back, haven't had to oil them either....
These bad boys are sharp ... will cut whatever you need them to cut, with ease. Great quality product. Well made. They feel fantastic in your hand. Don’t buy anything less than Knipex. You get what you pay for. Quality !
I've been using these cutters for the last five years to carry out my electrical work. They are sharp and strong. I haven't noticed any deterioration in their quality over the years.I wouldn't hesitate in buying them again when the time comes despite the fact that they seem like they are going to last a long time.They are a little bit expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for.
Having bought these to replace another pair she had lost I was very aware of the consequences of failure. Flower arranging wire can be the end of the earth sometimes but these pliers have kept me safe as she says they are great and make her life easier and can't praise them enough. If brownie points were available I'd have some. Great tool. Thanks.
