The reason I gave it 5 stars is because it's missing 2 to 3more usb 3.1 connectors, there is an abundance of room for them in the front panel. What I did is connect a 5-port power extender to the one usb 3.1 port in back to get the extra ports I needed. Here's what is fantastic about the unit. The RJ 45 port runs at a full gig speed, because it has an intel I210 network adaptor which some other docs say they have but don't. This unit has 2 usb type c connectors and one is for the computer, so you don't need a separate charger. With the discount I got, it was worth the money. I use it on my Razer blade stealth 13” laptop, which I also bought from B&H last year.“Have fun and buy wisely” and use your Payboo credit card and save.

Both says "For dual monitor, convert one of the thunderbolt 3 ports with a USB-C to video adapter". However, this device will *not* support dual monitors coming off of a Lenovo T480S. Setup was USB-C to DVI and DisplayPort to DVI. Called Kensington support, and I kid you not, their recommendation was to "plug one of the monitors directly in to your laptop". Kind of defeats the point of having a docking station...completely. Oh well, returning this unit and will buy the Lenovo official docking station which is $80 cheaper and has more ports.

I purchased this docking station mainly to sit on my desk and charge multiple devices, as well as transfer data when needed. It charges my 16" MacBook Pro without a hitch. As a matter of fact, I charge my iPad mini, 16" MacBook, and cellphone at the same time with ports still available on the front. It's also convenient for charging my Bose Bluetooth speaker and my windows laptop. I haven't connected a monitor yet. If you're looking for a docking station with plenty of ports, takes up little space, and has great power delivery, I highly recommend it.

If you're looking for a docking station that has a good number and variety of ports, while also taking up little space, this is a good alternative. It also delivers power to your laptop, which is a bonus. Nevertheless, the description states that it has an HDMI port, which it doesn't. You need to purchase an additional adapter for that.
Everything works as promised, build quality is extremely good, the charger is LiteOn. Windows and macOS operation is seamlessly, nothing to download, nothing to set, just plug and play.I hooked up also a 4 port USB 3.0 HUB in the back and attached a Logitech Unifying receiver for my mouse, works perfect. Tried Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi, everything as usual no interference at all.Transfer speeds seems good, I dont have a SSD to try, but testing with 3 HDDs, Gigabit Ethernet and using an iPad as a second screen at the same time everything maxes out. Ethernet around 930Mbits/s, each hard drive between 120-140MBps (Tested with Blackmagic). So why 4 stars you would ask? Because the company has no clue about what they are seliing, they give you even bad ... MoreEverything works as promised, build quality is extremely good, the charger is LiteOn. Because the company has no clue about what they are seliing, they give you even bad information. Let me explain:The front USB-C port is not PD capable, although they wont clarify or deny this, I took my chances and I figure out that just delivers 5V 3A, tested this with a Nintendo Switch, screen brightness at maximum, running the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and with Pro Controller via bluetooth. Battery wont drop even 1%.On the other hand they say, imply and assure you that the other USB-A in the front is Apple compatible and capable of delivering 2.1A.Not even by a chance, both iPad and iPhone immediate jected it, further testing with apps I confirmed it just delivers 0.5A, no more no less, cant speak for other phones. It will deliver 0.9A if you attach a regular USB device. (Also, along with this I bought a USB HUB, same brand, which I returned, because it has the same problems. In this case it was a rebranded item, contacted other manufactured and they confirmed that its not Apple compatible and each port wont deliver more than 0.9A, same case with this dock's front port). To round up I have no sleeping problems with my Macbook Pro at all, either blackscreen when resuming, waking up, devices disconnecting or something. Everything is flawless. Windows (Bootcamp) is up-to-date and everything was tested with Mojave Beta 7.
Product as described. Absolutely like new and works great. Thank you for a great purchase experience!
I have the MBP 16 and this unit just fit the bill (got it on sale at B&H). It is convenient and handled most of my needs. I like the fact that I don't have to use my original adapter and just rely on the Power Delivery through the dock (it is limited to about 86W though... any my MBP need 97W... a small gripe). In my hook up I used all the ports in the back (incl. adding a 7-port USB3 hub). Yes, there weren't enough USB3 ports (I think they have a newer version with 2 more USB ports...). Ethernet is fast (I got ~950Mbps). I used the DP port for the 43 monitor, the USB-C for a 2nd 4K portable monitor, for the 3rd 4K portable monitor I use the USB-port from the MBP. The power brick was HUGE but was good enough enough to power everything. Very nice unit.
This docking station was the final piece I needed to complete my setup. I now have the ability to just disconnect from the dock and go mobile. Great value. Great product.
This is a great docking station. It has features as the ability to charge laptops while connected to the docking station. The 4K displays are awesome.
This is a very versatile and quite efficient thunderbolt 3 unit. I am using it with my MacBook Pro and its very helpful. There is a significant speed boost between this and USB 3.
