I really wanted to like them cause I love walking and I wanted to buy a more sustainable shoe, so I feel really disappointed.

I bought these shoes maybe 6 months ago, and at first loved them. They were so comfortable to walk in and the shape made my walks more effortless. However, a few months in, my feet started aching severely. I thought it was the amount of walking I was doing, so I took a break and my feet felt better. As soon as I started up again, the pain came back. Unfortunately, these shoes seem to be the culprit of the pain. My right heel and arch ache after a walk, and my left big toe has started to form a bunion. Every time I take a break from walking in them, all the pain gets significantly better and goes away. But anytime I put them back on for a walk, the pain afterwards causes walking issues for the next day or two. I really wanted to love these shoes, very sad they didn't ... MoreI bought these shoes maybe 6 months ago, and at first loved them. I was so excited to try these KEEN.CURVE™ Women's WK400 walking shoes out! I absolutely adore them. There is no funky sneaker material odor coming from them at all. They smell like normal new sneakers. The traction on the bottom is good for gripping just about any kind of surface. One thing I noticed is that when I start walking with them on they almost make me want to run. This is because of the rolling feeling they give, they just make me want to move! I love that they are designed with a heel that is curved, they don't feel uncomfortable with all that and the support they have. The side swipe laces are so different and cool looking, but that also has a function that is useful. I felt less pressure on the front of my foot when wearing these. These colors are very pleasant, they will go with just about any outfit, especially jeans if you like to walk in those. I tried walking up our long gravel and stone driveway when I first tried them on and I wanted to just start running instead and almost every time. They energize my feet! I am almost 60 so that was surprising. Just think what these will do for a younger person. My normal size of shoes can be anything from 8 1/2 to 9 normally. These are a 9 that I got. I would also get a size or half up if you plan to wear standard thickness of socks with them. I prefer wearing them without socks in the summer for now and they do not hurt my feet. I don't really feel like I have to "break them in". These are the best sneakers I have ever had. I just want to walk, walk, and walk more when I have these on so if you need motivation go no further! Or you can run, too, in them like I do as well. I did walk alot recently when I went to a car show and flea market and they literally saved my poor old feet from pain and discomfort.

Great Walking Shoe!
7 December 2023

The Keen walking Revolution shoe is great! First of all the lightweight on this shoe feels like you're walking on feathers. The walking curve is remarkable it keeps me walking forward. It has the arch support which I really need. I'm a power walker and I enjoy getting in my daily steps. In my old walking shoes, my average walking speed had been 3.2. I've had the Revolution for a week with a total of 15 miles and my average walking speed is up to 3.6/3.7.The Revolution is a good fit for my narrow low volume foot. I wear a size 7, but had to size up to 7.5. Which I recommend. If you have a wide foot I suggest trying on before you purchase to get the right fit.I walk on gravel roads mostly the Revolution shoe has the grip and traction I need and when on pave roads ... MoreThe Keen walking Revolution shoe is great! Great shoe STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL though UGH!!
19 March 2024

the women'sWK400 walking shoes are awsome shoes but takes some time to get used to the aggressive yet supportive arch support. I am working hard to accept this great shoe. My main problem is the chemical ODOR!! It honestly makes me a little sick to my stomach in the morning and my feet smell like it at the end of the day. I can smell them all day it really takes away from my experience. Is there really a 30 day return policy even if you wear them out of your house? Cuz dangit these shoes SMELL SO BAD. Maybe it's because they are the solid black? Maybe I should have ordered the white soled shoe? I would have given 5 stars if not for chemical smell.

Great yellow color
18 July 2023

The shoes are quite comfortable, once I got used to the sole, but I continue to take care going down stairs because the sole protrudes from the shoe heel. I sometimes hit the back of the step. I wish I had them for my spring trip to Spain and Portugal. We walked a lot, and I wore a dressier pair of red tennis shoes.I bought size 12 instead of my usual 11, because I read that they ran short. At first, they looked enormous, but once I put them on, they were a perfect fit, laced tight, for my narrow feet. The yellow color and the diagonal lacing are what sold me. I've seen the shoes in other colors, which were unappealing to me.This shoe is similar to a comparable brand worn by other family members. We are all walkers.4 stars because of extra care going down stairs.

Narrow Tapered Toe

I waited to purchase these, as initially all the reviews were 5 stars, which made me very skeptical. After reading that others found the overall width of the shoe narrow, I knew these were the shoes for me. The positive features of this shoe include that they are narrow enough that my heel does not slide up and down, something I have not found in a shoe in years of searching, and with these shoes I have no heel blisters. The overall support in these shoes and the arch is excellent! The BIG drawback with these shoes is the narrow tapered toe box which causes squished toe pain with walking. The designers may have forgotten that this is what customers of Keen shoes are looking for in a shoe. Really wanted to like these …

Wanted a quality shoe with rocker bottoms. Finding one in my size has been difficult. Had high hopes for these. When I first put them on & walked around on carpeted floor, they seemed okay. But over the past week+ they’ve become increasingly uncomfortable, to the point where I no longer wear them. The interior construction is unlike any shoe I've seen. Hard to describe. Additionally, the laces are too thick, too difficult adjust. I replaced them with smaller-diameter round laces in a much more complimentary color. Also, the way the Keen logo is displayed & positioned on the top of the shoe is, well, ugly.

I didn’t think I needed a designated walking shoe until I tried these on. You feel the curve and cushioning instantly. I was worried it might take some getting used to, but it feels totally natural when walking. Love the springy feeling. The fit is comfortably snug, and I appreciate the extra cushioning in the heel. Two big takeaways for me now that I have been walking in them for several days and miles:1. I have no knee pain when wearing these. As a runner for over 40 years, I’ve noticed some knee pain on my daily walks right below my knee cap. I don’t feel it AT ALL when I am wearing my WK400s.2. I try to “plalk” every day (pick up litter while walking) so I’m not always looking to push the pace. But I’ve noticed that my stride is shorter and quicker in these. Unusable Shoe

I own so many Keen shoes and they are all fantastic. This one, however, is not. First, this shoe is NOT "true to size", you MUST size up just to get my foot in. In fact, I had to go a full size up which I do with no other shoe. This could be due to the shoelaces, more on that in a moment. It is designed to ONLY be used for walking. Therefore, if you plan on wearing it somewhere and stand for a while this is NOT the shoe for you. It also takes over a mile for your feet to stop hurting when wearing the shoe - this could mean two things 1) you go back home, or 2) you tough it out to see if it gets better. Lastly, the off-center shoe laces actually hurt the top of my foot. I am unsure of the reason they decided to design this.
