Jumbuck Delta 4 Burner BBQ - Pol

I drove for over an hour round trip to buy this today. I can see why it has been discontinued. If screw holes don't line up it is impossible to assemble, and I have assembled many things and was using an impact driver where there was space to - it simply does not go together. In one case there is a thread attached to a hole but not exactly; it overlaps the hole so there is no way the bolt can go through. Wheel axles are too short if you put the wheels around the right way and too long the other way. The lower rack arrived bent. Will never even get far enough to see if the paint peels as others have said. No idea how I'm going to take it apart and return it. Suffice to say I will never buy Jumbuck again. I should have known when they used rhyming slang for their name.

I’ve owned this bbq for over a year now and it’s not worth it in my opinion, the hot plate is made of thin metal so it warps with time, you end up with a low spot where everything pools up, the coating flakes off which is a given due to heat but it happened in the early stages, takes forever to heat up and since the metals so thin it also loses so much heat when you put anything on it, the temp will drop dramatically when putting snags or even eggs from the fridge, I wouldn’t recommend cooking veggies on it nor steaks or burgers, this is literally only suitable for snags and egg and bacon at a slow pace as you can’t get a sear on anything. A friend bought this 2 years ago and it's great. I would have given it a 5 star. Helped him assembe it and been over for bbqs a few times. I thought I would get one last week. Box looked fine but parts were bent. Same friend was now helping me. He bent the back to shape. Assembly was easy! Lightweight too as the plate isn't cast iron. The stickers on his plate came off easily. Mine were difficult to remove. Y oil drainage blocked on first use. His never blocked. Says paint on plate will come off over time. He has used his a bit in 2 years. Still good. My paint peeled off after first use. So not sure what happened but the quality in 2 years has dropped. My friend was shocked as well.
