C1 6" x 9" Component Speaker System - JL Audio C1-690 To facilitate fit, spacer/adaptor rings are included allowing the C1-690 woofers to be installed in bottom-mount applications. Super punchy for a 6x9 woofer. Decent highs from the tweeters too. Got my own crossover, and they sound way better than beforeβmuch more distinction. An excellent upgrade from the stock setup on my Toyota!

Nice punchy bass and quality tweeters, you can't beat the quality for this price! First time dealing with Sonic, and they have been absolutely fantastic! I won't buy from anywhere else!

If you have either the Sony or B&O system in your 2017-2019 F250/350 then you know if fails miserably as a "premium" audio system. Short of a complete rebuild, replacing the factory speakers with C1 series front and rear is the single best improvement you can make. I've done this twice; once in a 2017 and once in a 2019 and these speakers put the sound in your truck that Ford left out (you still have to fix the sub though!). Very clear mid and highs and enough bass to make real difference. These will drop in with the correct brackets and the difference is night and day. Highly recommended!
OK Bass and good voice for deeper voiced males and country type. Gap in midrange, and tweeter is 7 inches away from the woofer, with less staging than I expect, likely due to lower location. May readjust toward pillar at 11 inches from woofer. I will eventually amp these and expect more bass, and cover mids with some nice full range Faital speakers.
Smooth tweeters and surprising Bass.Installed in a 2012 Tacoma with 1inch spacers for the woofers. Doors treated with sound deading material. Tacotunes tweeter adapters. Huge improvement over stock speakers.Using just a pioneer Head unit these speakers are loud and clear. Could not be Happier.
I like that these speakers come with separate tweeters . They work well with the stock receiver on my 2016 F-150 . The metal clips don't stay on the Metra adapter that was free add on, but a little tape will keep them there for mounting .
2019 Tacoma. Upgraded to these. World of difference. Clean, clear, full sounding. Works well with stock unit. High's are not too high where it's ear piercing. You can crank the volume up with no distortion or listen to it on low and clearly hear the radio host talking. I have this paired with C1-650x in the rear and the JL 8 inch factory tuned/powered enclosure. Massive improvement over stock and sounds great.
I installed this set up in the front doors of my 2013 Toyota Tacoma double cab. I had to make the tweeter adapters. I had some material so it was easy, but if not get the Tacotunes adapters. JL sound quality at a great price. Paired to a Kenwood HU. Very Happy Customer!
Great mid-bass speaker . Have them hooked to just my head unit in my 21 trail boss and they put out great mid bass and great mid range sound . I wouldn't expect anything less from a JL product . Can't wait to get the 6 . 5 coaxials installed!!! Would recommend all day!!!
