Jellycat - Bashful Black & Cream Puppy (Medium)

I’ve gifted both of my children a Jellycat on their first Easter for their first stuffed animals. Their Jellycats are SO soft and perfectly weighted. My oldest’s stuffed dragon has held up beautifully to over three years of constant use. My infant has the bashful yellow duck and it’s charming. We love Jellycat!

Be warned! This is a lovely toy.

This dog is so soft. A good size for young children to hold. But be warned. I bought one for my 3 year old grandson and he was delighted. So was my one year old granddaughter and she claimed it as hers! So I had to buy another one.Likely to appeal to most children and therefore possible you will end up buying more than you expected to. They are addictive.

My grandson picked this up and cuddled it all around the store so had to buy him.Now they are best friends and he can't sleep without him.My daughter bought a spare one in case they ever got parted ! Very happy with quality and washable too. X

Love this dog

My daughter got this dog when she was 9 months old...she's now 6.5 and it's her "dog". They are super soft and fluffy initially, really cozy to snuggle with. The best quality stuffed animal we have ever encountered, as we find with all the jellycat brand stuffies. We have washed it several times and it's still going, although much less white, fluffy or well shaped - partly my fault as I didn't realize I should put it in a bag (I bought the Gund wash bag eventually and it's made a huge difference). I would highly recommend this dog as compared to other friends/family's animals for how much *love* (read: snuggling, playing, pretending it's a catch toy, used as a pillow, etc.) this dog has gotten from my daughter it's held up extremely well and has no bare spots or ... MoreMy daughter got this dog when she was 9 months old...she's now 6.5 and it's her "dog". These Jellycat stuffed toys with the matching book have been a go-to gift for my friends with new babies. The stuffed animals are so cute and soft - and the "matching" book is a hit. Highly recommend for a cute, thoughtful, luxe gift that doesn't break the bank

No gift message included

I wrote out a gift note to be included with the gift and it was not included. I don't know the recipients very well so the note would have been helpful. Luckily, their mother, who is my friend, figured out that I sent it.

Bashful Puppy is my son’s favourite cuddly, so we always need multiple!2 recently went missing a week apart (a very stressful week!), but thanks to Bumbletree I could replace quickly and much more reasonably than some other retailers.

Smaller than advertised

Yes, this is the softest stuffed animal maybe ever. TBD how it maintains texture after washing. The photo of the medium shows it 13” tall next to the dog SEATED. This thing is BARELY 13” long when it’s stretched out, seated it’s about 8”. I actually question if I got the small when I ordered the medium, but the tag says medium. I was planning to return it until my son saw it, stole it from me and fell in love. I guess we’re keeping the lil’ guy.

Soft and cuddly

I bought this little guy as a birthday gift for my tween niece who asked for a new stuffed animal. He is super soft and cute and is the perfect size -- she even brings him along in her suitcase when she travels! Highly recommend!

We wouldn't be without this little Pup

My daughter has lots of Jellycat toys but this puppy (ours is called Riley) is by far the best. When she first saw him it was love at first sight. It's perhaps because our very own dog looks remarkably like this cuddly toy. Sadly we lost the original purchase of this super soft fluff ball whilst out shopping and didn't realise he was missing until we got home. Thank goodness for John Lewis click and collect service as we managed to purchase, collect from our nearest Waitrose and safely sneak him into our daughters cot before she even knew of the horror from the night before. Phew! I think an additional one of these, or two, might have to go on the Christmas wish list
