JBL Tune BT 510 Wireless Headphones Blue

These headphones have what I'd call a fatal flaw. When you go up to 100 percent volume the headphones stop your audio and make a "chc chng" sound to let you know you've reached 100 percent volume. I often turn my headphones up during my favorite part of a song, and because of that 100 percent volume alarm I have missed my favorite parts of many songs. Instead I hear the "ch-chng" noise. Then my stomach sinks, because the headphones spoiled the beautiful experience of the song. So yeah, here comes my favorite part of the song. I boost the volume at just the right moment, and.... "ch-chng". Then the song returns two or three seconds later. See the problem?

I purchased these headphones today on October 14, 2022 and when I got home I immediately grabbed my Beats solo 3 and conducted a sound test. Quite frankly the only difference is that bests pack I little bit more of a punch and that's it. The sound quality I'd just as good. I did my test with various songs. The songs were Runaway - Aurora, Gang Signs - Freddie Gibbs, Glimpse of Us - Joji, Late Night Talking - Harry Styles, New Gold - Gorillaz, i - Kendrick Lamar and Ma Vie - Kidd Keo. And amongst all those songs I would sometimes get confused with which pair of headphones I had on my ears as the music was simultaneously playing from both sets of headphones. I would often think the Beats were over my ears when it was the JBL and vice versa. I give this 4 stars because the material does make it light weight I am not very find of the cheap feeling plastic and the choice of ear cups they went with but that's just me being picky. Other than that these headphones are absolutely worth the whatever you pay for them. I saw another review saying these are good for the gym and I would prefer using a cheaper pair like these headphones than a more expensive one like Beats. The sweat will break down the ear cups eventually and you wouldn't want it to be a pair of headphones that cost you 6 times as much and sounds the exact same way. Best headphones ever they literally saved my life!

I wanted to give your product the five star review they deserve and to let the world know what a wonderful product this is. My girlfriend gifted me these headphones and I love them not only do they exceed the expectations required of them but they honestly saved my life. I wanted to personally say thank you to JBL for creating a product made of such great quality. I work in a warehouse and at the moment didnt have any equipment to protect my head as I was removing and installing racks and thank God I did have my JBL headphones on because the ravks came down one after another right onto my head hitting the JBL headphones! If I didnt have on the headphones those racks would have split my head right bbn open. Far Exceeded My Expectations

I really wasn’t expecting much from these headphones to be honest. They weren’t expensive, and as the saying goes ‘You get what you pay for’. With that in mind, these headphones far exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is amazing for the price. The sound is immersive, and the bass is pretty powerful. They hold a charge brilliantly too. I used mine pretty solidly for a week and there was still some juice left. I really can’t find anything to gripe about. These will get used a lot, so replacing the ear cushions will be the only issue I can see. Nonetheless, these are a BARGAIN, and I’ll be buying another pair.

Good Headphones, Worth What They Are Worth

Okay I never write reviews but these headphones are really interesting. Overall, I give them closer to a 2.5 or 3 Star headphone...when we don't take price into consideration. Other headphones that are more expensive are obviously far better in terms of sound quality, comfortability, and battery life.But these headphones are DEFINITELY worth the price. I have had mine for three weeks (not long at all in terms of how long I would want them to last), and I feel satisfied with my purchase. I wear them everywhere, I skateboard in them, they are not treated well by me and they are holding up. Battery is fine. I charge them about once every 3-4 days and use them about 5-6 hours a day I would estimate. They flew off my head while skating once and I haven't noticed any difference in quality (probably a perk of lower end specs).You are definitely getting what you pay for with these headphones. But that is not a bad thing. I rate them four stars. Good job JBL at making something that works fine.

Great headphones with a lasting charge

I ordered these JBL headphones a few weeks back for when I workout at the gym. So far I really like them. The charge life is great and last hours, they have not died on me but I do charge them every week. The adjustable size is perfect and they are not to big. They stay on my head for every workout and they do not smash my ears down so I do not have ear pain. Sometimes earbuds hurt my ears after 30 minutes to an hour but not these! I highly recommend these, JBL is a great brand. The only thing I would say is they are not sound proof so you could still hear things around you but I turn up the music and don’t mind the commotion around me. Another plus is they come with a charger!

Not the best

For context I got these as a christmas present, around five months ago. To start off they were really uncomfortable and hurt my ears for awhile. If you were them enough though it will stop hurting around two weeks after consistently wearing them, at least in my experience. If you are looking for noise cancelling headphones, I also wouldn’t get these since you can hear everything when you have them on. I made the mistake of using these on an airplane. Another thing that sucks is that they don’t come with a case. I usually only wear these at home, but there were occasions like being in an airport or at a crowded store where I’ve needed to wear these or bring them with me that having a case would’ve been useful. I definitely wouldn’t recommend getting them if you can afford higher quality ones, but I did somewhat enjoy them for the few months they worked.

Pleasantly surprised 😮

I purchased these for my daughter. I didn’t want headphones that were expensive because she goes through them like tictacs. I am very pleased with these and am actually considering buying myself a pair (I currently have Beats Studio3- which are not worth it, in my opinion). My daughter charges them maybe once a week, and she uses them every day. They're very comfortable, and I like how flexible and movable the ear muffs are. The padding is soft but not overbearing, and the sound quality is great. For nearly $50, I would say JBL's are quality headphones. She’s only had them a few months, so time will tell how they hold up, but I would definitely purchase again.

Solid pair of Bluetooth headphones

These refurbished JBL Bluetooth headphones are a great buy. Both music and spoken dialog (TV, movies, etc.) sounds very good. I really like the multi-point connection feature so that I can keep them paired to two different devices, such as a smart TV and a phone. After pairing both, the headphones automatically play from whichever device you start playing. Phone calls will always take priority, so if you're listening to the other device (e.g. TV) and a call comes in or you make a call, it will pause what's playing on the other device and auto-switch to the phone call. Very nice! Battery life appears to be excellent, rated at 30 hours of playback. However, jumping backward or forward in the video stream on the TV cleared the problem up when the video resumed. The only other thing is that they could maybe be a bit more comfortable. They're not bad but do feel a bit tight. (I am an adult man.) I had to return a different pair that I recently bought elsewhere because they were so uncomfortably tight, so maybe I just have a big head! But I can still wear this JBL pair for an extended period, so they are comfortable enough for me to keep.

Just received them today. They are SO PRETTY! I got them in the Rose color and am in lovee with it. And to my surprise - they sound great for what I want them for - the gym, and listening here and there. I think these headphones would be great for commuting as well. I only listened to two songs so far and a bit of a podcast to test them out, and I think they're great for the price. The bass sounded surprisingly nice to me too, but I'm no music connoisseur. I wanted to get the Beats Studio Pro headphones, for better sound overall, and to hear the music how it's meant to be heard, but I need to save up for them, and I think the Beats Pro are too nice to wear to the gym to sweat in.
