Bought this waist pack to store items for my work as a paramedic. The zippers are no name brand, and should have been YKK to be better quality / more durable. The nylon material is decent, but it doesn’t hold its shape, and instead looks awkwardly shaped when worn. The outer zippered pocket is a good size and depth, but the main pocket is difficult to retrieve items from because it fits to close to the body for the zipper to adequately open to access the contents. Disappointing because the photo looked like the perfect fit for what I needed it to be used for. Never been a fan of Jansport, and this waist pack is just another reason why.

Well-made. I use it for grocery shopping. I don't want to take a purse in stores because of COVID. I secure it around my waist and wear under long tops so its protected. It fits my keys (don't want these exposed!), wallet, cell phone, kleenex, a bit more.. I put credit cards in the outer zipped area for easy retrieval at check-out. It serves its purpose perfectly. My only complaint is that the color is harsh. The pack/bag would look more upscale if it were a softer pink. This too-pink color looks a bit tacky though the bag is well-constructed in other ways. The waist strap is simple (could be better) but holds up. This was well worth the price.

Well I'm 5'7" and about 170 lbs and this barely fits around my hips (it does). I'm very athletic and in good shape. I actually purchased to be used as more of a crossbody but at its fullest extension it sits very high in a not comfortable position. So...definitely designed for a smaller person. I asked Jansport if they made an extension (as another popular fanny pack brand does) and they do not. That said, it doesn't seem hard to manufacture such a thing for an additional $5.00. You're likely missing out on a much bigger market. People love options. And if you don't need the extension, all is well. I decided to keep it and rig up my own extension to wear as a crossbody.

I deliver packages and purchased this pack so I can keep my phone securely on me while I work in order to use my Bluetooth headphones. It does the job and is super cute too. I also got one for my sister who is an avid hiker and she loves it. In my opinion, the cutest and most convenient way to wear it is over the shoulder with the pack resting on your back. I would say it's about mid-size as far as fanny packs go. Not the smallest but not bulky either.
I love this waist bag! It has the usual jansport durability, and I like the subtle design and color (light gray) that goes with everything! I typically sling my waist bags across my torso. It is great for travel to have necessities close at hand, and I also use when walking the dog or day hiking. It fits my wallet, keys, phone, small pack of tissues, and lip balm. Maybe a little bigger to fit a pair of sunglasses would be nice, but overall this is a great little pack!
This fanny pack is everything I've come to expect with JanSport. It's material is water repellant, robust and the overall design is functional and attractive. It comes with two zipper pockets, one large one that fits all your needs and a smaller one for keys or loose coins. It has an adjustable strap but unlike older versions the buckle is closer to the body making it easier to unbuckle. My previous JanSport waistpack is more than 20 years old its beat-up, threads are coming undone but still going strong, I thought it was about time for an update.
I have not used this product yet. But I was looking for something small to carry my ID's, my extra pair of eye glasses and my phone when I go on small hikes. This will do the job for me. I chose Jansport because when my children were of school age I always bought Jansport Backpacks for them. They were so durable and nice looking. So when I needed a little fanny pack I thought of your company and ordered it.
I love this bag. I use it as a cross body bag for day to day life. I get compliments all the time. It fits a large wallet, lip gloss, small notepad, AirPods, pen, pencil, gum with room to spare in the main pocket. The front smaller pocket perfectly fits my phone. I throw it in the wash when it starts looking a bit grungy and hang dry. It looks brand new.
I was excited to try this as I've been looking for a cute bag to wear on errands and on walks/bike rides and know Jansport is a quality brand. But the moment it arrived, my husband called out that there was no shoulder padding and that wouldn't be comfortable. I hate to admit it but he was right. The first time I wore it, it was rubbing on my shoulder and causing pain. If you have a shirt on the covers your shoulder (and the strap area) it's ok, but in a tank or anything else, it's uncomfortable. It does a hold a lot but unfortunately I won't be using this as much as I hoped.
actually obsessed with this. as a kid i had the lil corduroy backpack and kept it all these years. i was so excited to find this!! it goes with everything, it's lightweight, but fits sooo much and doesn't even look bulging. so glad i purchased this instead of a baggu
