My favourite red wine right now. The price and taste is on point. I buy this wine by the litre and have a glass a few times a week. Love it.

The perfect red for a classic evening, just right for dates and easily available in almost every liquor store. The price is reasonable, goes well with steak and I also sometimes use it to cook different dishes.

Ithe cab sauvignon from Jacob's creek was easy on the pallete and reasonable for the wallet. I prefer a bit of a more aged version as I find it a little less acidic, and I think it pairs well with deep fried foods as it balances the oiliness of the foods.

I’m not big into wine. I do prefer white over red on the odd occasion that I do drink it. However, I like Cab Sauv, it’s the only red I like and the Jacobs creek is my favourite of them.

I wouldn’t say I am a wine snob and I won’t spend an arm and a leg on a bottle. This one is FANTASTIC for the price. I think I paid $5.99 for the bottle and I fell in love. I typically spend $8-10 a bottle. The stocker at the store told me it was a big seller and I decided to give it a try. I will be buying multiple bottles next time.

Jacob's Creek is a mass producer of good quality wines. Their cheaper ranges wines are decent, and considered well made, although faulted with lacking in character and finesse (whatever that means to anyone). The bitterness you tasted maybe because of a wine fault, or rather issues with storage that caused the wine to turn bad. But I suspect it's because you're in the early stages of trying wine.

All I could smell and taste was alcohol. I've tried it twice with the same result. Either JC is over-hyped or this product is not good for their brand.
