My FAVORITE bottled green tea; and Iâm a huge tea-drinker (so this is a very high compliment from me!) This green tea is super delicious and tastes unique to most other green teas on the market (at least in the US). Iâd recommend trying it out if youâre tired of drinking water and want another healthy/just-as-refreshing beverage option, if youâre looking for a healthier alternative to other bottled iced teas, or if you just like the taste of unsweetened teas in general! HOWEVER I also think this may not be the tea for everyone and this is why. To give you a better idea of my tea preferences, I enjoy what many of my friends consider âboringâ teas (because I donât like the taste of sugars/artificial sweeteners, artificial flavoring, or excessive additional flavors ... MoreMy FAVORITE bottled green tea; and Iâm a huge tea-drinker (so this is a very high compliment from me!) To give you a better idea of my tea preferences, I enjoy what many of my friends consider âboringâ teas (because I donât like the taste of sugars/artificial sweeteners, artificial flavoring, or excessive additional flavors even if theyâre natural; in my opinion, these things not only make drinks potentially less healthy, but also mask the flavor of the actual tea itself.) I also like to seep tea much longer than the recommended times because I enjoy super strong flavors (I also love black coffee!) Now this tea isnât super strong, but it definitely has that distinct âgreen tea tasteâ that doesnât quite reach bitterness but could be considered bordering on it (in a good way; itâs hard to explain until you try it!) The only 3 ingredients are 1. water, 2. green tea brewed from ACTUAL TEA LEAVES (not powders or concentrates, which gives it a real tea flavor and may take some getting used to if your not used to drinking ârealâ teas), and 3. ascorbic acid (this is what gives it the 220% daily value vitamin c, and why you should probably store it in the refrigerator and out of direct sunlight esp after opening!) The short ingredient list is great because you know exactly what youâre putting into your body with this product! And if you still canât make up your mind about trying it, Iâll just share this with you: my sister lived in Japan for a while, teaches languages to exchange students from all over the world, and majored in Asian Studies so she has been given lots of different tea recommendations and has tried a LOT of the teas out there but âIto En Tea, Unsweetened Oi Ochaâ is her favorite bottled green tea too (sheâs the one that actually got me hooked on it!) I would really recommend trying it out since itâs not super expensive to just buy one bottle!

I donât know what it is about these ancient teas and how good it feels to drink this after hard work, ice cold, but it makes you feel a little bit better than everyone around you. I got this one and the Jasmine Green Tea Ito En. I canât see the jasmine tea on here anymore so if it comes back snag that one and this one too. Also, donât flipping drink this if you donât like bitter things. Black coffee, espresso, grapefruit juice, etc. This is not for you if you like the hummingbird feeder flavors of soda. This is for smart people.

Ito En Oi Ocha Unsweetened Bold Green Iced Tea is literally exactly how it sounds. I wanted to try to incorporate daily green tea and figured this premade tea would be good for the hospital. However, the taste is nothing special. It tastes like my regular green tea when I leave it out after it was hot. I wasnât impressed enough to consider purchasing it regularly. However, it might be right for someone who wants plain unsweetened tea.

I drink this every morning before breakfast. It is a great way to start your morning that doesn't involve too much caffeine or sugar. The Ito En Oi Ocha unsweetened bold green iced tea is very tasty. I love how smooth it is. You can add a bit of honey or sugar cane if you want it sweeter. I had to kick my coffee addiction a while ago because it conflicted with my medication. I started drinking Green Tea instead to wake me up in the mornings. It took a few days for me to adjust, but once my body was used to the green tea I felt way better. I didn't get a crash later in the day with this drink. Before when I was drinking coffee I would need a minimum of 2 cups a day to get through my work day. Now I just need this one in the morning and I'm solid. Sometimes I don't refrigerate to enjoy it luke warm. I also heat it up in a cup in the microwave whenever I want to enjoy it warm. Make sure to pour it out into a glass or ceramic cup if you want to heat it up. I tried making my own using tea bags. It isn't the same! I recommend this delicious green tea.
I am truly impressed with the flavor and taste of this bottledIto En Oi Ocha unsweetened bold green iced tea, pure and natural flavor.I was expecting it to be bitter since it was unsweetened but it has that great green tea taste, pure and simple. The flavor is truly bold and you really don't need the sugar to enjoy this great quality tea. There is no weird aftertaste and it saves you time in brewing your own if you are tired after a long day or strapped for time. I would recommend refrigerating it for the best tasting product. This green tea is a welcome addition to my love of tea.
My new favorite! I absolutely love this one. It is strong and bold and tastes great! Finally, a green tea that isn't sweetened and has a ton of flavor. In fact, it is such a bold strength that you could water it down if you wanted to, but I like my green tea strong, so this was PERFECT for my preference. There is a tad bit of settlement in the bottom of the bottle, so be sure to give it a swirl every few drinks. My only complaint is that I didn't get a bigger bottle.
Ito En Tea Oi Ocha is the best, refreshing unsweetened green tea one can have. I used to drink this on a regular basis while living in Japan, so it was a delight to learn about its availability in the US. If you're searching for a mild green tea flavor, this is not what you're looking for! Oi Ocha's makes a bold statement with every sip along with a smooth dose of caffeine. Although some people prefer to drink it at room temperature, an ice-cold bottle on a hot day is the perfect way to enjoy this beverage. This will be my go-to drink for ages!
This Ito En Oi Ocha Unsweetened Green Tea, 16.9 fl oz. is absolutely tasty!I have always loved green tea, specially unsweetened! I love all types of teas as long as they are unsweetened and this green tea is so yummy! I put it in the refrigerator for a few hours and then I drink it nice and cold itâs a perfect iced green tea! Its so healthy and good for you which is just awesome and it tastes amazing! I highly recommend this unsweetened green tea to all the green tea lovers out there! Itâs a definite must have in your home!
Finally! This green tea is exactly what youâd hope it would taste like, and none of the other drinks out there taste this good. It has a super clean and very strong taste. It doesnât have that gummy, weak taste that every other green tea has. I prefer my drinks to be ice cold, so I just popped this into the refrigerator. I like the size of it too, nice and big. I had a salty meal before I drank this and it quenched my thirst. It is not sweet at all, it is perfect. I would highly recommend this and I will definitely be on the lookout for more.
I had never heard of this brand before, but was pleasantly surprised! First off, this green tea is high quality! It's made with quality ingredients and you can tell when you take a sip. There aren't a ton of ingredients either which is good, because each ingredient used is something that is good for you! There is just water, green tea and vitamin c. This tea is also unsweetened and has only 5 calories per bottle! There is caffeine because it is tea, and the caffeine content is 60 mgs per bottle, which isn't bad! The flavor isn't bad either! I do highly recommend this tea, especially if you are looking for a tea that tastes good, and is good for you! Give it a try, you will be happy that you did!
