It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream SPF 50 - Tan Warm

I love this product for a quick everyday look. For what this product is it’s amazing. The coverage and the cc cream. I love when skincare meets makeup. This product was so popular for a reason but I never tried it simply because I only ever wanted classic forms of foundation but I got this as a bundle with their famous limited edition heart foundation brush and I didn’t know what to expect from the limited shade range and this product in general but surprisingly this is amazing. I wish I chose medium instead of medium neutral because the neutral aspect pulls a little darker just a touch darker than my skin tone however I love love love this for a quick everyday foundation where you get coverage while keeping it quick and easy and super simple it’s not full coverage at least compared to a regular full coverage foundation but it is high coverage and the way it melts and blends into the skin is beautiful. This isn’t my go to for glam or longevity but it is my daily foundation for going out to the store or to run errands because for every day life it’s a perfect base that wears well but I wouldn’t trust it to wear an extended period of time. All in all I love this product because it has a place in my collection and my routine. For more special occasions I would go with maybe Tom Ford, Huda, or one of the good apple foundations whether it be the balm or serum one.

A Bit Lackluster

I know this foundation has been a staple in the beauty space for years however I have yet to try it so when BzzAgent gifted this product free in exchange for my honest review I was excited to say the least.This foundation is average. It isn’t too bad but it doesn’t preform as the brand describes.Firstly the shade range is abysmal. They have many tone options in the fair shade range but few options for any other shades leaving many tone gaps and even shade gaps the deeper the foundations go.For reference I am NC 25 but this foundation’s Light shade was too dark/pink. In theory it should be too light for me. But the next warm toned shade was also too dark, and the step lighter warm shade was ghostly pink. The formula feels comfortably hydrating on the skin. I would describe this as medium buildable coverage, you can still see some of your natural skin through this foundation so if you are truly looking for full coverage you will want to skip this one. This foundation played nicely with all of my other cream and powder products without issue.Unfortunately in just a couple hours the foundation began to oxidize and only became more orange throughout the day. My skin is dry and I rarely have this issue with any foundation.This foundation seems like hit or miss, if you are interested and can find a shade match, I would encourage you to try it and see how it works for you.

Beautiful finish, great for everyday

I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and some dryness but I love a healthy glow. I don't like looking matte and dull and sometimes I can get away with foundations that provide hydration if I wear the right products underneath like a good primer or skincare that balances my complexion. At first this foundation was looking a bit too dry and cakey around my mouth and it would melt so quickly on my forehead and nose sliding all over the place. Still to this day I only get about 4 to 5 hours of wear with this foundation and then it starts to wear off, but it wears off much more beautifully and fades naturally without me looking like a grease ball. I use this as an every day foundation for me. Like I said I LOVE the coverage. I don't like to show my natural freckles much so this covers them well and also any redness and discoloration I have. It looks healthy on my skin. The color looked a bit darker on the tube but it actually matched me very well. I am a light-medium usually with yellow-golden to olive undertones. It has a nice scent that is not too strong but pleasant and it applies so well and quickly with my foundation brush with no streaks too. It feels very lightweight as I buff it out which makes it perfect for every day use, personally. When I am in a rush or need ro run a quick errand, this is my go to foundation specially because it has SPF in it!

Better for indoor use than outdoors

It performs best indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and applies significantly better with a brush or makeup sponge, but still requires a setting powder on top to prevent the stickiness. It's a very heavy product. It's also not transfer-proof, which is a very important feature to me in the summer.Bottom line - I wouldn't purchase this CC cream. Although it provides excellent coverage, the point of SPF is to use outdoors when the UV index is high, but that's exactly when this product performs the worst.

I like that it is lightweight, easy to apply, blends well, and provides good coverage.This foundation leaves my skin feeling soft and also hydrated not too thick or clogging. Love This Product!

I was not expecting it to be so close to foundation, so I was a bit skeptical. I wear full-coverage foundation, but was interested in all of the skin-care benefits of this product. It has phenomenal coverage and is buildable. It feels really light on my face. I am able to leave it as is, or add concealer and bronzer/contour if I’d like. You do not need to put powder over this, where’s foundation, and other BB and CC creams require a bit of powder to stop from creasing and shining. As far as wear test, it held up my entire workday, which is from 8 am into the evening. I have combination oily and dry skin, more so on the oily side, so I hate shining. They are meant to have greater skincare impact than coverage. This product does cover up scars ad I have melasma, which is extremely deep hyperpigmentation that is symmetrical on the face. Something that covers that is a great product! I would recommend to users who wear makeup daily and those who want a makeup look occasionally.

I recently purchased the light/medium shade of the It CC cream. I'm in my mid-60's, brunette with brown eyes and pink undertones to my skin. The best match for me in most cosmetic lines' foundations is a shade with pink undertones, toward the darker end of the fair range. It Cosmetics' light/medium CC cream has some pink but also a lot of yellow to it. If I stick to a light layer of the cream, my natural pink undertones are visible and it's very attractive. But if I accidentally use just a little more, I look unnaturally yellow. The cream then stays put with no loss of coverage, migration or color change until I remove my makeup in the evening. If I get a little shiny, I just dab my face with a cheap sponge which removes the shine without removing the makeup. (I attribute the staying power to the CC cream, not the sponge.) My highly sensitive skin is actually looking better than before I started using the CC cream. I'm so thrilled to find skin makeup that looks good without breaking down my skin barrier with ingredients like chemical sunscreens. Thank you, It Cosmetics!

This is a tricky review for me to write because there were aspects I really liked about the it cosmetics cc+ color correcting full coverage cream but there were others that I really did not care for. I received a tube of this product to give an honest review on.To start I will say that a little goes a long way! The first time I tried it I dispensed the 2 pumps the directions instruct you to do. That seemed to be way too much. It was very creamy, smooth and spread well, but I definitely did not need one to two pumps. That day my face felt too greasy for my liking and seemed to look a little too cakey. The next day I used it, I ended up depressing the pump not all the way down to dispense about 3/4 of a pump, and that seemed to be a good amount for me. If I am going to have to re-apply lotion every two hours I think I would just stick with the Cerave light face lotion with spf that I was already using. That has the same instructions for reapplication but contains almost twice the amount of product for a price point of $19 versus the $44 price point on the it cosmetics item. When I first started using this the palest shade was ~ actually ~ pale, the coverage was medium and it looked like skin! Then the shade range took a turn for the worse with all of them becoming orange-y and not enough options for complexions on either end of the spectrum. However, I would always find my way back to it because I loved the finish and it was one of the few products that agreed with my extremely sensitive, dry, acne prone skin. I was willing to make the shade work with a lighter concealer and despite finding the product would kind of go off.. before I would ever finish a tube (3-4 months) , unlike the first couple years of using this.
