can't recommend buying the iRobot Braava m6 robot. They don't support it. Mine is less than two years old and the tires are worn out and after much effort I'm lead to believe it's impossible to get replacements. There is no time frame when or if they will be available. They're not even listed on their web site. They do have them in Australia iRobot website (part number 4650146 braava replacement wheel kit) but they do not ship internationally. They still make this robot but will not sell you wheels for it if yours wear out. The united states needs to establish some consumer protections, if you make an electronics product you should carry basic parts for it for a period of time so we don't keep having to make these companies rich buying and throwing away products ... Morecan't recommend buying the iRobot Braava m6 robot. I'm embarrassed how bad their customer service is. I called in and was forced to "troubleshoot" tires with no tread on them. When asked for a manager I was told there are no managers. Well that explains how their service is so bad. Their representative told me to buy them off Amazon but there are none sold there that actually fit according to the reviews. There are tires for older models but not this one. Used to be a big fan of their products, bought them for my family and got them started using iRobot products and they have really turned around my opinion of them as a company. Any company that treats it's expensive products like this as disposable doesn't deserve our money.

The Braava Jet m6 is one of the most frustrating pieces of tech that I own. The robot really only works on completely level floors, with no obstructions. When it works, it works fine. I've used this product less and less as time goes on, and have begun to stop trusting it.It gets stuck in rooms after it traverses transitions, it usually fails to undock when starting a job, and easily gets stuck and complains after hitting a leg of a table. Its also really low profile, which could be an advantage, but is more of a crutch here that prevents running over transitions. You also can't run this in the dark, because it requires light. I've tried remapping it a few times, with all doors close to keep the floor as simple as possible, and it still runs into an issue. Unless your floors are flat, and have a super simple floor layout with little to no furniture, and have the area lit well, I don't recommend getting this robot.

I was looking to buy a combination vacuum and mop with self-emptying tower/charging base but decided to go with this one since I already had an iRobot vacuum (that I'm very happy with) and the app, so I wouldn't have to download a different app for a different brand. Sadly, that was the only pro. Even with the cons, I thought I could make it work, but ultimately decided to return it. Truly disappointing.ConsUnlike its vacuum counterpart, if you have floor track/dividers, it won't make it across unless you have the kind that mesh evenly with your floor. This in turn messes up the mapping because you have to pick it up and do all of your different areas of floors separately. I think this also affected the mop being able to find the home base, because it never could find its way back or, depending on the area, couldn't make its way back due to the track/dividers. I pretty much had to pick it up and take it back to the charger every time, unless it was cleaning the room where the charger was. In my kitchen, it kept getting stuck in the space underneath my cabinets, so in order to make that work I would've had to block it somehow, like maybe put pool noodles to keep it from wedging itself under there. And the cleaner that came with it left my floors feeling sticky and unpleasant to walk barefoot on. If I kept it, I would've probably only put water in it and put my own preferred cleaner directly on the floor since you're not supposed to put anything in the mop reservoir aside from water or the cleaner that comes with it.

am thrilled with this new Braava. I had ordered the T380 or whatever it is called and it did not do much of a job cleaning my floors, nor did it connect to my phone and roomba ; so I returned it. This new jet m6 is night and day above that one. It is mopping my floors as I type and getting them truly clean as my new roomba s9+ vacuums the other rooms before the braava gets to it. They work together which is a huge plus to me as I don’t have let the roomba finish before firing up the braava every day. I just turn them on and let them do their thing resulting in clean, shiny floors while I drink my coffee and get my paid work done. I have never been so happy with a product in my life as I am with the Braava jet m6 and the Roomba s9+!The only cons is that I believe ... Moream thrilled with this new Braava. I have never been so happy with a product in my life as I am with the Braava jet m6 and the Roomba s9+!The only cons is that I believe it requires the use of the iRobot cleaning fluid if cleaning fluid is wanted as opposed to using other brands. Same for the mop heads; although I have ordered some rewashable ones to keep the mopping price down as the throw always are fairly pricey at a dollar a mop. With that said, the throw-away is what is mopping my floors so beautifully as I type; so if the microfiber rewashables don’t do as good a job as the throw-always I will be purchasing them in bulk as I am happy with the job the throw-aways do.So incredibly glad I purchased these two items as I was a bit reluctant due to the price tag. Not now. They are worth every penny to me.
PROS: The mop cleans well and the mapping seems to work better than my robotic vacuum from Shark. The mop pads and solution are inexpensive, so it's not a continual financial drain. CONS: The mapping isn't perfect and there's no manual way to adjust it. Any slight threshold between rooms is enough to keep the mop from crossing it. It was unable to map my bedrooms, for instance, since there's a slight threshold between rooms. The only option was to create a separate map for that room and then move the mop in there. The mop works strictly by friction, so there's no buffing or scrubbing happening. The mop can get filthy and drag grime around the house if you don't catch it, because there's no sensor that informs it when you should change the pad. I've also had it run ... MorePROS: The mop cleans well and the mapping seems to work better than my robotic vacuum from Shark. I've also had it run too low on solution to be effective well before any notification of needing to refill. The solution container doesn't have a marker for the solution (after which you fill the rest with water), so you're supposed to use four capfuls, but the caps are tiny and the bottle is enormous; good luck. There's no setting in the app to tell it to just clean the space you put it in, unless it's something already mapped. In short, while I love having this mop and it may be the best option available, there's a lot that needs to be done before this tech is really ready for prime time.

I purchased the mop at the end of February via online order. I received the mop and used it for the first time in March 1, 2022. It worked beautifully and it did a fantastic job for only 1 month. The mop started throwing errors and it was doing all these crazy patterns everywhere. It was roaming around like it was lost but not cleaning. I rebooted it and removed the battery to attempt to reset it. When that didn't work I called customer service for help. After spending an hour on the phone with them they finally determined I had a faulty mop and would send a replacement. I was to receive an email confirming this within 48 hours. I didn't receive the email and 2 weeks passed with still no replacement. I called them back to see where my replacement was and they said it would be shipped out April 15. It is now May 6 (more than a month since my first call to them) and I still have no answer or mop. I emailed customer service today instead of calling because I didn't feel like spending another 30 minutes on hold before you ever reach someone. This is my 3rd piece of iRobot equipment but my first mop. The vacuums work wonderful and I have never had an issue. The mop was to my surprise doing a VERY good job. I understand there are sometimes a few lemons out there but I am more disappointed in the customer service and the willingness to replace my equipment. I used this mop for only 1 month! That's the part I'm frustrated with, I just want my mop replaced and hope I get more longevity out of the next one. IF I get a replacement and it would work/last for at least 1 years time I would feel the mop is worth the investment and I would absolutely purchase another one, it does a GREAT JOB! If it only lasts for a month at a time, this goes without saying, I wouldn't recommend this product because that would be more hassle than it's worth. Hopefully this will get resolved. I will send a 2nd review for the next mop
Purchased for a ~1500 sqft home with all hard floors and a few rugs. Main disappointment was with poor navigation capabilities and tedious user experience, providing overall poor value.Cons:- Requires two successful cleaning/mapping passes before any modifications to the map can be made, including placing keep-out zones; you must clear out all obstacles beforehand and baby the m6 through these first two passes- If the m6 gets stuck/trapped during a mapping run, the entire mapping run is considered invalid- Cannot perform a mapping run unless either a wet or dry pad is attached- Treats small transitions as if they are stairs/edges; while these transitions can be "ignored" in the app, you can only do this after two successful mapping runs- We have a transition ... MorePurchased for a ~1500 sqft home with all hard floors and a few rugs. Even on sale at $350 the value proposition is just not there. My Samsung POWERBot from 2018 has better obstacle avoidance than the m6. And any LiDAR-equipped alternative is going to be much easier to work with. If the mopping pad at least vibrated like the Braava 240, I might considered sticking with it.In the end I returned this and purchased a $650 Roborock S7, which has LiDAR, vibrating mop pad, real-time mapping and location reporting, live keep-out-zone creation, carpet detection + retractable mop pad, oh and it vacuums at the same time. I still use the iRobot cleaning solution with the S7. The single issue have with the S7 is that it leaves about a 1" un-mopped border since the mopping pad doesn't cover its full width. Otherwise the experience, especially right out of the box, is just so much better than the m6.Overall, the m6 is a poor value with the bare minimum functionality out-of-the-box, despite all of its supposedly high-tech features. Other manufacturers are producing more innovative and user-friendly products that provide a much better value.
I bought it for about 9 months, and used it almost every day for kitchen cleaning. So far, I have no problem with the robot. it occasionally stuck when it goes under the oven drawer. it cleans well enough. I bought the cleaning solution that came with it. It's not quite strong enough especially when we cook meat or oily stuff. Here is my workaround. I wash the cleaning pad at least every other day with mild dishwasher soap, leave a little residue of the dishwashing soap on the pad, and then put the slightly wet pad with slightly trace of soap residue (instead of a clean dry pad) back to the machine. this way we don't rely on the spray coming from the cleaning solution in the tank. it's been working well and keep the kitchen floor clean every day. if I have extremely ... MoreI bought it for about 9 months, and used it almost every day for kitchen cleaning. I wash the cleaning pad at least every other day with mild dishwasher soap, leave a little residue of the dishwashing soap on the pad, and then put the slightly wet pad with slightly trace of soap residue (instead of a clean dry pad) back to the machine. this way we don't rely on the spray coming from the cleaning solution in the tank. it's been working well and keep the kitchen floor clean every day. if I have extremely dirty floor that day, I'll set irobot for another cycle of cleaning with the solution inside the tank (no more cleaning the pad). this product certainly has area of improvements such as climbing up kitchen gel mat, clean better for the edge by the wall and corner, easier to fill the solution instead of taking it out, less freq filling up the solution.....
