iPhone 14 256GB Starlight Unlocked- Apple

The iPhone itself has lived up to expectations, as an iPhone product which have all been excellent in my opinion, in the short time I have had this one, one week, it has performed excellent. The phone has been great, my only complaint is the brightness resets itself to a lower level constantly although I have "True tone" turned off. From what I've read this is for the phone to protect itself from overheating, but it is annoying as my old iPhones did not do this constantly. It has excellent battery life. However, I am a T-Mobile customer and I had a lot of problems getting the "unlocked" phone activated because it did not have an ICCID number. I called T-Mobile and they were initially unable to activate the phone without it. I then called the tech support through the seller/Bestbuy and the only resolution they could offer was a refund (which I appreciated the offer, but I wanted the phone to work). I then began to look on the internet and it turns out this is a common problem among "unlocked" phones (often "jailbroken") and that the carriers can activate them when you get someone with knowledge. I eventually was able to get an advanced tech support with T-Mobile who was able to finally activate the phone. In the future, the seller should note that this could be a problem and proactively offer some solutions for the buyer.

iPhone came in perfect condition, practically like new. Not a single scratch or dent on the front, back, sides or camera. Everything works so far. It’s internationally unlocked for anybody wondering, but eSIM only. Charger and cable (not Apple) provided are good enough to use as spares, since luckily I already have an original Apple charger and cable. iPhone came with 91% battery health, which was a bit disappointing since I was expecting to be one of the lucky ones with 100%, but I got lucky with pretty much all the rest, so it wouldn’t be fair to give it less than 5 stars just because of that. I purchased this product all on my own! This is my honest opinion on the 128 gb iPhone 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple. I really wanted to love this phone! According to its specs and daring Deep Purple color, I should be over the moon for this phone! But alas, it’s just been a let down! I thought having the bigger 6.3 inch tall phone with the 6.69 inch screen would make the bulkiness of the phone worth it as I have the eyesight of a 90 year old; but it’s just too heavy for my liking! I have little hands, and the weight (8.47 oz.) and dimensions of this phone make it way too easy for me to drop it! And believe me, I’ve dropped it! That’s perfect for charging it on the go, as my Mercedes has a place for me to simply lay it to charge! It’s pretty nifty! The color of this phone is such a Deep Purple, that it makes the phone attractive to both the ladies and the gents. It’s neither too feminine nor too masculine! The camera is of course amazing, which is important to me! I take 1600 pictures of my fur and fur less babies regularly, so I need printable quality photos! What I don’t like? It doesn’t come with a charging brick nor earbuds! Apple claims that it’s to “reach carbon neutrality by 2030”, but we all know they were just trying to save some cash! Greta doesn’t have that far of a reach! I don’t honestly care about the earbuds being absent, as we all know it’s like wearing a marble around in your ear all day! They’re simply not comfortable! But the fact that Apple skimped on the charging brick is just some negativity that I honestly don’t need in my life right now! Having to spend more money on something that most phones come standard with, is just kind of absurd! It should have been a deal breaker, but I and everyone else in my house , have been rocking with Apple for at least 10 years now! We’re comfortable and connected, so it’s kind of hard to walk away! Our relationship is complicated! Other charging issues I’ve found with this particular model have to deal with its battery life and the phone heating up while charging! I do constantly use my phone, but I’ve never really had an issue like this with any of my other previous models. I don’t use the “always on feature”, and I try to wait til my battery is almost completely dead before charging it; but it still has to be charged multiple times a day. It doesn’t charge the fastest either on a regular cord and brick. I use a little quick portable charger if I need my phone to be charged in a hurry! On the portable charger I can charge this baby to almost full in 20 minutes! With the basic cord and brick, it can take about an hour to an hour and thirty minutes to get to that point! I also find that the speaker volume on the 14 Pro Max to be a little too low! I’m getting up there, and I don’t want to have to constantly walk around with an earbud in my ear just to hear my phone! It makes me feel like I’ve already got a hearing aid in! My husband loves my phone, and is looking forward to taking it over if I decide to break up with Apple! I’m either going with a newer, smaller model iPhone, or I’m just going to give Samsung a go! I just wish phones weren’t so big nowadays! You can pretend that we little handed people don’t exist; but all you’re doing is driving us back into the arms of our old flip phones! I’d recommend if you’re good with any of my gripes I discussed above. It just isn’t the phone for me! Sorry Apple! This time it’s you, not me! Also, this phone cost over a grand paid out over time, so I just kind of expected more! It just feels like Apple is constantly a few years behind Samsung. A sassy red phone for a decent price.

I desperately needed a new phone with more memory. Apple was continually taking the liberty to delete things from my phone to free up space for software updates. They have deleted photos, approximately 1/3 of my phone contacts as well as my ENTIRE calendar! In my opinion, that should be illegal! My mother lives in an Assisted Living Facility and her phone number, her nurse's numbers, her Dr's numbers as well as the main number of the facility was removed from my phone as well as some of my Dr's numbers! I needed those numbers more than a software update! I did not want to buy a new phone due to the expense with the current state of affairs with our economy. Beautiful Phone - Easy to hold

I've been android fan forever...but my current note has been acting crazy and spam call after spam call. So I decided to add a line to my plan and try out the Iphone, took advantage of the free Iphone 14 if you did the contract so I did. It's such a pretty phone.I love that it's smaller. I'm not into staring at my phone 24/7 and watching things on it often, but even when I do watch an occasional YouTube video or scroll through photos it's still a pretty decent screen size. I also love that it's so much easier to hold one handed and use than my note. Fantastic phone!

Bought with buy now pay later which has been a god send. When from an IPhone 6s to this one and the size isn't that much bigger so easy to adjust to without an ipad in your hands. Easy to learn and transfer everything over onto it. Was weird getting use to the button not being on the screen but didn't take too long to get used to. Great phone and up to date hope this lasts me as long as my other phone did (7 years) without needing to replace because of out of date software on apps etc as well as phone not failing me. No need no harm done somehow and its a miracle (because google said these phones aren't water tight to be submerged in water only waterproof fromSplatter or rain etc) I turned it off, let it dry on a towel etc and works absolutely fine - no issues at all. - that was a month ago so hopefully all is okay 👀🫣😅 all the fun of being an overwhelmed mother of twins 👍🏻🤦🏻‍♀️😆Highly recommend and such a great price! I manahed to source a code online i think it was signing up to the buy now pay later thing but it took off a chunk as the first order which again helped a bunch!

Nice phone!

I went from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 14...so it was quite a jump. That being said, there are many things the same, but also some things that have changed. It was fairly easy to adjust to no longer having the home button on the screen. But not so easy to adjust to the buttons on the sides of the phones. They are located slightly different, and I believe, seem smaller. Also, they are so sensitive that I find myself exiting out of screens merely because I touched one of the buttons. I'm having to adjust to 'screen shot' as well. The 2 buttons on the left of the phone are much closer than they used to be, so it's easy to hit the wrong button. I mean, who actually looks at the buttons...I'm assuming most people are like myself, and we just feel for the buttons. All in all, I am really enjoying the iPhone 14. It's mostly the location and size of the buttons on the sides that seems a little annoying to me, just because I keep hitting the wrong buttons for the functions I'm trying to achieve.

Too Big!

II love iphone and automatically bought the 14 when replacing my old (but very much loved!) iphone 6.I assumed this would be the same size as the iphone I was replacing however it is bigger, thicker and heavier. I ended up returning the 14 and getting a refurbished iphone 13 mini instead which I absolutely love.1. I don't know why Apple felt the need to make their phones bigger as standard. If people want a big screen they can carry an ipad around with them!2. It's annoying they have also stopped making the "mini" versions - these now cost a fortune to buy as a refurb and you can hardly find them as they are in such demand.3. Also don't like the fact the newer version of the iphone is so much heavier. I certainly do and appreciate a lighter weight phone.I have a feeling that I have now purchased my last iphone as the mini is obsolete and I won't be accepting the increased iphone size when I buy next time.

I purchased this phone less than a week ago, and I noticed this problem after I bought it when I got home, -after spending more than 5 hours total at Best Buy! My new phone has "halo" ring-shaped circular discoloration around the lens, outside of the camera's rim. This seems to be a minor cosmetic defect, but this is super frustrating after already having had a prior issue with a phone I had returned. The day before (last Saturday) I accidentally got sold a used "open box" phone, and so the next day on Sunday I returned it and exchanged it for this Midnight new iPhone 14. Between exchanging it, calling my provider for cellular, and transferring my number at the store, I spent over FIVE hours in the store, until it closed. Again, as a busy student I have no time or energy (or desire) to pay a restocking fee and waste another 5 hours in store to exchange the phone and transfer my phone number and data, and everything that entails. Very frustrated, but I highly doubt Best Buy as a corporation would care. This is a small problem in the grand scheme of life, but it's frustrating in consideration of the amount of time and money I've already spent in store. Maybe I should have bought my phone straight thru the Apple Store, instead of going through Best Buy.
