The Injinji Liner Lightweight series feature an ultra-thin crew-length sock that can be used on its own, or as a base layer. Pair it with your choice of outer sock to provide maximal cushioning, or on its own to minimize bulk. Either way, your toes will enjoy the freedom, cushioned separation and breathable moisture-management that only toe socks can provide. The Liner Lightweight series are available in either CoolMax fibre or Wool fibre options. Choose CoolMax for optimal moisture-management, or Wool fibre for optimal odour control and thermal insulation. Injinji toe socks are designed to provide a glove-like fit for your feet. They eliminate skin-on-skin friction between the toes, and provide the cushioning and moisture-management other socks simply can't provide. Essentially a double-sock system for the interdigital spaces, Injinji toe socks are a great choice if you suffer with blisters, corns, callouses or tinea between the toes, or toe pinch blisters.

I use these for my winter runs, especially when then temps dip below 40F. I put these as my base layer and my normal wicking running socks as a second layer. This ensures my feed don't get cold and that I don't get a frostbite. I have run in these socks with temps in teens without any issues. The one thing to keep in mind though is that you don't want to wash them too often. Because these are made of Merino wool, there is no odor and you can literally use them everyday and not wash them for a month. Washing them does reduce the effectiveness of these socks. This is probably one of my favorite running items.

These are my absolute favorite hiking socks. I generally run hot, and these keep my feet comfortable, dry, and blister-free. When I first put on toe socks they felt weird, but I quickly got used to them, probably after only using them one time. Now they are my favorite socks to wear while hiking. The only downside in my opinion and to echo what others have said is that they are not super durable. I have not had any trouble with the quality of the construction, i.e. no random holes, but merely the fabric at the bottoms of my feet wear thin relatively quickly compared to my other hiking socks. These are, however, designed as liner socks and meant to be worn with other socks over them. That said, since I do run warm I like wearing them by themselves. I say if you are okay with buying these relatively frequently, they are really great socks. When the weather gets cold again, I'm going to try layering them with another pair of wool hiking socks.

Really happy with these, my toes were getting really cold and I had started getting chillblains even with thick socks and uggs on. These keep my toes cosy and warm, wick away any sweat, and are surprisingly comfortable. These ones are great for wearing under other socks if you want to show off something colourful, without feeling like you're wearing several awkward layers. While travelling in a hot summer location, I found the lightness was also good and didn't get too sweaty.Definitely need to buy some more.

I have worn injinji merino wool liner and medium crew toesocks daily for about a decade now and phased out most of my other socks. I buy 8pr at a time, so I can wash weekly. They last a very long time with daily use, about 4-5yrs and some of my old ones from 9-10yrs ago are still going, although they've been relegated to backyard socks now. The new ones are for daily use at work. I love them because they keep my feet snug and warm in cold weather, cool and dry in warm weather, free from tinea and they are quite low odour when washed daily, and just go in with everything else on a normal daily wash requiring no special care. They also give me excellent protection from blisters as my skin is quite thin and sensitive. They also give me excellent protection from blisters as my skin is quite thin and sensitive. According to my podiatrist, I have very young looking feet for a middle aged woman and even nicer than some younger ladies, and I think it's due to the natural merino wool toesocks. I don't buy other socks often anymore, unless they're a novelty for costumes or events. Injinji merino wool liner toesocks are my standard every day wear socks. I wish these merino wool liner toe socks came in white, black, navy, beige, buff, unform colours and other novelty colours too, and in no show, mid length, long length and full leg compression tights of different weights, and sheer tights with reinforced toesocks. In particular, I think dancers could really benefit from buff and various other skin tone no show socks to wear in dance shoes that are often unforgiving to thin skin. I love these socks!!!
When I bought new shoes at my local shop they recommended these socks.Best price I could find was here at TradeInn. I know they have a good service so ordered them right away! These liners are the best. Merino wool, so won't get smelly, lightweight so no bulky socks. Just the way I love it.Only downside might be that they might be a bit on the fragile side. Make sure you keep your nails neat.If you are looking for thin toe socks these are the ones you want. No fancy colours, just merino.I ordered one size up and they fit perfect for me (as recommended by my shoe salesman), its dependant on your toe size I guess.
I'm a women's size 7.5 wide. I got the small, which is my usual size in Injinji. I found these wool liners to run slightly small, as the socks were very snug around my feet. It was also thinner than I expected, even though I know it's a liner. I'm returning these because I'm most worried about a thin patch where the threads come together. One little snag and I'm pretty sure these socks would be done for. I ordered three pairs and at least two of them had the same thin patch. I ended up buying toe socks from Etsy instead. I do appreciate REI's buy 3 get 10% off promo on socks.
Like the products, HATE the packaging!I'm new to REI. I ordered 3 items and got each one separately only days apart from each other (grrr). The 1st item was a Key Doohickey and I about Screamed! (note the only box in the photo .... with the itty bitty item!!!)Attached is a photo of 4 items I've gotten in the mail this week. 2 from other companies and 2 from REI.You decide what you think about REI's attention to: packaging supplies inventory, training staff (?), programing in automated product management (?).REI- PLEASE put a more energy into your mail order fulfillment department.
I heard about Injinji as socks that prevent blisters but I actually bought these to wear for cycling. This because my feet get super cold and kind of numb in my cycling shoes when there's a big wind chill. However because after less than 1 month of casual wear, I noticed a hole in one of the toes so returned this product as I was not satisfied with the quality. Did they keep my toes warm? Unfortunately I didn't get enough wear to test that out. I did like how I can individually wriggle them and know which toe is starting to lose circulation. I don't know - perhaps my toes are fatter than usual
Used these on a five-dayer in Kaweka Forest Park--steep country, fairly rough tracks, river walks. They stood up to hard use much better than I expected. Comfortable, and dried quickly for merino socks. The separate toes almost certainly prevented a couple of blisters, and allowed me to use my toes for stability better. These socks are much more durable than I expected--I thought they were town socks. I'll buy more, if Injinji are still making them when these wear out.
The sizing chart suggests a medium for my feet but the large fit better (I guess I have long toes?)The mediums started developing holes between the toes due to the stretching. The larges have much more toleranceComfort: 5Temperature: they don’t keep my feet warm or muggy, 5Durability: the only holes I’ve gotten so far (that are not due to stretching) are because of road burn and a new puppy. The puppy holes…okay those are dead. The road burn hole I was able to sew back together and wear as per usual. 5Sweat: 5. I can’t go back to regular socks, since now I can feel the sweat between my toes…I don’t like it. Thanks Injinji for giving me standards I can’t back out fromBacteria/fungal: haven’t had any issues with these socks, 5.
