I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I buy foundation samples for not only trying out various brands to see what works best for me but also as they work so well as a travel bag companion so you don't have to lug around a larger bottle. This one by Inika I find is in the middle for me but the sample size it great with a fair few applications in it. It goes on ok although I find it a little too greasy compared to others but once it settles in it blends in and doesn't dry the skin out and feels good. I find it a little off my own skin colour compared to other brands of this colour. It's lacking at covering skin blotches/colour imperfections as you need to dab a little extra in those areas that you are trying to cover and lacks a little in a velvety texture. Not many organic brands deliver good results in my opinion, obviously they’re clean product ya which is great, but not many last long or only give results for a short time. But Inika organic is a great brand where I was actually surprised how good and long lasting they’d products are! Have purchased quite a few products from them! The BB cream is no exception it’s great!

Initially I was looking for something cleaner to use, and I invested in this foundation hoping it would be the same but better. I found it didn’t go on as easily, as it’s more pigmented, but I now mix it on the back of my hand with either my day moisturiser or even just serum before applying all over face. And it is just wow. Gorgeous, gives me a no makeup look, even outside in the sun, but evens my skin tone and makes it look perfect. This is my favourite foundation; I have used it for many years. It gives the most natural finish even when you build up the coverage. It’s easy to apply and goes on even better with a makeup sponge. Will last the whole day though will benefit from a light powder touch up by the afternoon. Plus it doesn’t contain all the nasties!
First time I've used an organic foundation and Inika products, so I honestly didn't have much faith in the coverage of the foundation. I'm very happy with the product, covers very well and doesn't look heavy. I'm 51, so my skin is on the more mature side, but this goes on evenly and doesn't sit in my fine lines and gives a dewy glow. I found the colour match guidance very helpful on ordering and the colour is perfect. Well done, Inika. I will be ordering again.
A little goes a long way - I only need very little to provide a good coverage. The texture is smooth, not dry or flaky. Unfortunately, the colour Honey is too dark for my medium warm tone Asian skin despite reviews stating otherwise. I would have given it a 5-star rating if not for that. I have ordered the Nude colour, but it hasn't arrived yet for me to tell if it suits my skin tone and write a review. Advisable to purchase the sample colours to be sure. Guess I will use the Honey colour during the height of summer when I will be tanned from frequenting the beach.
