I really wanted an all-wood (no fabric), kid-friendly, yet COMFORTABLE chair. After trying out other options that fit my style, I landed on this one. The chairs are very stable, a nice weight and my 9 year old gave me the great big smile and sigh of approval when she tested the first one for comfort. They look really awesome with my new Morbylanga dining table, and I’m confident they’ll hold up well. They’re noticeably much more solid than the pine options at Ikea; the hardwood build makes a noticeable difference. My only complaint is that these are EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING to build. I’ve built many Ikea products (the aforementioned table was a quicker build than even one of these) and this one had me taking a break in the middle of EACH chair, muttering under my ... We bought four of these chairs and two need to be returned due to issues with the hardware. We got almost all the way done with the (very frustrating) build and the last few screws weren’t long enough to get into the bolts/holes that they were supposed to align with. Thankfully we live close, so returning and taking a chance on two more isn’t a huge deal, but still. Otherwise, we really love them! They’re sturdy, modern and hopefully will hold up well to our kids.

At the last minute, Ikea notified us that they would only ship part of the set. Now we have a table with a couple of the chairs, and Ikea refuses to ship us the rest of the order. This was after Ikea confirmed our order and we took the time to schedule a delivery. They sent the notification a few hours before the delivery.I’ve spent hours on the phone with their support and have received zero assistance. The company has no interest in making things right, so we have to cross our fingers and hope the chairs come back in stock. It is worth noting you can still place an order for this set which means they do have chairs in stock, but they will not ship a single chair to fulfill a previous order for the set.This is my first and last time purchasing from Ikea.

Beautiful chairs! I bought 4 of theses with the Norraker bench. I bought the Ronninge table 1 month ago and finally able to get the chairs. They were out of stock for awhile. I assembled them myself. I love putting together and building Ikea furniture! It’s like mindful meditation for me lol.. these chairs are very sturdy, wood quality is excellent and design is beautiful. Extremely please with these chairs!
I had such a hard time finding sturdy chairs that would hold some of my plus sized loved ones well and still fit my asthetic. These. are. perfect. I had no problems assembling them - maybe that reviewer got a bad one? They are comfortable, stylish, sturdy and affordable. They are the unicorn chair ;)
These chairs are a perfect mid-century shape for our small kitchen, and the green colour is even better than I hoped. It's a muted jade green that adds colour without clashing with anything else. The chairs were easy to put together and feel very solid and stable.
We've been waiting for this chair to appear in stores for almost a year. We specifically wanted a classic and simple chair design to blend into Japandi style of our home. The chair did not disappoint - sturdy, substantial, and good quality. Would definitely buy again.
We bought it because we needed a bigger table for our growing family. Kids spilled already everything what they could do it’s easy to clean and nothing gets stick into the surface. Very stable table and big enough for a 8ppl.
Love this chair - I purchased just one for my bedroom as I work from home and find that switching between my office chair and a normal dining chair works well for me. The green colour is so lovely and the classic school desk chair style is very nostalgic. The only thing I don’t like about this chair is that it’s quite heavy for a dining chair.
one of the more comfortable non-padded chairs. others were pretty slippery, but this one isn't. they tend to creak a little bit, even after tightening, but not too badly. very lightweight while still sturdy.
