Unless you have one those fancy fridges, this is honestly the most robust, functional and easy to use ice-maker you’ll ever own. Seriously, this takes up minimal room, pops out easily, makes heaps of ice and pours cubes beautifully into drinks.

I stuffed it any-old-way in the freezer and it turned out two glasses worth of nice cubes without leaking. My freezer has drawers, so most trays slosh water everywhere. This is a nice improvement.

It's a great concept but once the water if frozen it is very difficult to pull the sides apart. Then it is impossible to get the ice cubes out of this contraption. I strongly would not recommend this product and am confounded by the other reviews.

I got rid of the plastic ice cube trays (that take up space and where cubes evaporate and get smelly over time) and replaced them with two of these. I wold buy more but they are expensive. The system works! I gave four stars instead of five because us older folks with arthritic hands may have some difficulty. And, for the money, I wish they were a bit larger. But the cubes are the perfect size and are easy to use.
The ice breaker pop is small, which while it doesn't always feel like it makes a lot of ice... 16 or 20 cubes, you can fit both two in your freezer like two small ice blocks. And most importantly as it is sealed it doesn't matter the orientation. For anyone with a very full freezer it is a blessing
This thing is pretty chill...of course I didn't read the instructions, but figured out in order to expand the pack, and break the cubes apart, you need to open the cover ;-)
This is a brilliant gadget! It takes a bit of time to get used to the method of removing the ice cubes, but once sorted works very well.Very well designed, it seems as if it will last for a long time.I usually take the ice cubes out, and put them in a bag in the freezer, and put the Icebreaker straight back in……should never be short of ice cubes again!
So now when I refill the ice cube tray and place it precariously on top of the TJ's frozen popsicles in my tiny New York City freezer, and then my husband comes by shortly thereafter to grab a pop, guess what? No icy water splattering everywhere. Hooray!
This is a very innovative product and great design. It takes up minimal space in the freezer and produces enough ice to fill a 20 oz. container. Its fully enclosed design allows it to be stored anywhere in the freezer unlike an ice tray which tends to spill if not stored properly. The design also allows ice cubes to be easily released. All in all a great value. Ask me in a year how how well the material holds up with the constant tugging and pulling needed to release the ice cubes.
