I remember seeing this film in the theater and thinking how much better it would be at home on a good home theater because I was kind of underwhelmed by the theatrical presentation. I bought the Blu-ray as soon as they came out and thought it was very cool but it seemed to still be lacking something that I felt needed to be there. I waited for a while for the 4K version of this movie to come on sale before I purchased it because I just wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it or not. I was definitely wrong. Not gonna lie, this movie is a guilty pleasure for me, must have been 14 years old when I first seen it. Blew my mind, have been in love ever since.So yes this review IS biased.Honestly, one of the best 4k transfers I've seen. That radioactive green hue from the HulkLooks far more natural in HDR. Always looked terrible on DVD. But HDR just brings out the 'naturalness' to it. And the sharpness, gawd, it's crisp and clean as can be.You'll see indiviual hairs, wrinkles and pores. The CGI looks remastered in most parts. Truly does.DTS:X is a great addition too. Would have liked some more over head action. But lots of deep bass and great use of surrounds. Very dynamic between channels.Demo material.

I upgraded to this 4k edition hoping for a more enthralling experience and not some strange animated comic book looking "Hulk" as in previous versions due to colour saturation etc. This version does not disappoint, the 4k HDR makes all the difference. The movie is now an all round fantastic experience. The video is very crisp and colourful as it should be, I believe the HDR has helped out in that regard and the audio now upgraded to DTS:X is booming awesome. The overheads are sparingly used but when they are it is certainly an experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie as if it was my first time viewing. Don't think about it anymore, just get this and replace your old DVD or Blu-ray, you will not regret it. :)

Overall a much better movie than what was originally reviewed when it originally released HULK (2003) was ahead of its time. Watching this movie in a time where superhero movies are not only dominant in modern cinema, studios are looking for darker aspects of comic characters with releases such as Joker and The Batman leading the charge. HULK (2003) did this before it was the trend. Going back to this movie shows how well the movie has aged.
The video detail is amazing: nice, sharp picture, the HDR color vastly improves over the older blu-ray release, and the sound is fantastic. This isn't my favorite Hulk film, I much prefer The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, but it's still a decent movie. There seems to be a lot of extras, but I haven't dived into them as of yet (I don't think any of them are new compared to the older blu-ray release).
The delay time was too long so I canceled. It sounds too much like a made on demand collection so no thanks. This movie was not my favorite Hulk movie, the story was depressing and dull compared to the Edward Norton Hulk in 2008. But the Avengers Hulk is by far the best for the movies. Lou Ferrigno was even in it as a police guard. He was the original Incredible Hulk in the 1977 TV series and that was even better than this one and Norton's put together. My least favorite line in this movie was when his dad said he should have killed him and the hulk's alter ego said he wished he would have. I did not care for that one bit. One star on product release, three stars for movie.
Blown away by this 4k release! The last time I saw this movie was on vhs and it’s such a huge upgrade for me. The real film shots of the movie look clear and sharp like it was a movie filmed this year. I worried maybe the only thing that wouldn’t hold up was the cgi for hulk and other characters but even they look amazing! Honestly even better than The Incredible Hulk (2008). And of course the audio was great too! This is a MUST have for 4k collectors interested in superhero films!

It is massively flawed though, with Nolte the worst offender just way too OTT when the part called for silent menace, and the dude who plays Talbot is basically a jock ripped from an 80s teen comedy. Not to mention the complete stupidity of the Hulk dogs.
