Due to colorfulness, they automatically become a fashion statement when you wear them around your neck. It is truly great for people that love to express themselves and who would treat them as accessories. They aren’t unfortunately perfect, the function that I miss the most in them is noise cancellation. It is starting to be a standard function in the pricer headphones and I would love for them to have it. The other thing is the battery, it isn’t terrible but it could last a little bit longer. They turn off after not being used for a while, which is good, because it keeps them from dying too fast. But, if you were to use them all day I would assume you would need to charge them every two days which for me is slightly too often.Overall I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs new ones. I’ve had them for 2 months now and I don’t see any bigger problems. I think they are one of best, unique-looking ones in this price range.

Great Features, Excellent Noise Cancelling.

My son found them comfortable as well. The cushioning is well fashioned and doesnt put too much pressure on the outer ear.In terms of microphone, video calls seem to be going well, even though i could not obviously hear my own voice. The sound itself is very crisp and where as other headphones start to muffle at lounder volumes, these stayed very precise.Overall if you are a fan of over ear headphones, you wont get a better deal than these.

Great Headphones, but the Magic is in the App
3 February 2024

Let me start by saying JBL never ceases to amaze me with their cutting edge pairing of sound and technology! At first glance, one could assume these headphones are like any other pair, but I beg to differ. The headphones themselves are among top of the line in terms of sound for their price range, but the fun doesn’t stop there – the ‘JBL Headphones’ app brings these headphones to new life and I highly recommend using these with the app to really get the experience of their true power.Upon unboxing, I found this lightweight pair of headphones in a soft, mesh bag convenient for carrying and keeping them safe for travel. Included in the box was a 10 inch USB to USB-C charging cable, a 4 ft. aux cable, and a Quick Start Guide. I do wish the charging cable was a little longer, but it’s not the end of the world. The Quick Start Guide walks you through all uses and functions and it has a QR code you can use to download JBL’s free JBL Headphones app which is available on both Apple and Android. My first impression on seeing the headphones was that they have a nice appearance and a soft over-the-head material. The ear cups are soft, yet a bit small for my ears as I normally prefer larger cups to cover the full exterior of my ears. Putting them on, though – they feel comfortable. Inside the ear cups, there’s a L/R labeling to identify the proper direction to wear them. All buttons/switches are on the right ear as the left side has only the port for power charging. The right side has the Power switch, Volume up/down buttons, a Pause button, a Bluetooth Pairing button and an Ambience button used to enable the function to hear your surroundings. The outside shell of the right ear cup appears exactly like the outside shell of the left ear cup, but the right side is indeed a tap-able button that can be used to access your Voice Assistant like “Alexa” or “Hey Google.” A feature in the app named Gestures allows for you to customize button controls to your preference which is pretty cool. The Bluetooth pairing process is very quick and simple; I had no trouble finding it on my devices list. Before downloading the app, I listened to a song to hear their general sound and found it to be a fair sound with decent bass, good mids and clear highs for enjoyable listening. I enjoy listening to music loud and I think their default max volume is reasonable for not busting your ear drums. After getting a feel for their natural sound, I went ahead and downloaded the app and was blown away at the number of features available to me. In all, there are currently 15 features within the app that transform these headphones from good to great. This is where the real magic begins. For starters, you can see the headphones’ battery percentage at the top of the screen once you’re in the app. I’ve listened for a fair amount of hours over a number of days since getting this pair and my battery is currently only at 70% and I have yet to have to charge them. On the box, it says that 5 minutes of charging time = 4 hours of music playback – which I find quite amazing.Next, the app gives you three different modes for Ambient Sound Control. There’s: (1) Noise Cancelling, (2) Ambient Aware, and (3) TalkThru. If you toggle between them in a room of silence, you seem to notice almost no change, yet you’ll be surprised to find that each mode impressively allows you to hear what’s happening outside of the headphones covering your ears. With Noise Cancelling, these headphones are good with blocking outside sounds. With Ambient Aware, you begin to pick up on subtle sounds like the snapping of your finger or typing on a keyboard. With TalkThru, you can hear yourself coming thru the headphones if you wanted to have a conversation without taking them off. I love this feature because you don’t have to take them off or remove one ear to hear what’s happening around you – and the beauty of this feature is that all three modes work while listening to music without interfering with the sound quality of the song. Quite impressive! There’s a setting called VoiceAware that ties into this feature as you can control the volume of how much you’re able to hear in the Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes. There’s a feature called Personi-Fi which is a feature that allows you to do an ear test which determines how well each of your ears hears certain frequencies, and the results of your left ear test VS your right ear test then tells the app which frequencies you may need boosted or compensated in your left/right ear so that you’re able to listen to custom-tailored and fine-tuned balanced music. If this alone doesn’t make these spectacular, I don’t know what does. The app has a 10-band EQ control where you can use a genre-based preset, or create and customize your own. There are 6 presets available and you can create multiple presets of your own as well. As an avid music listener as well as an Audio Mixing Engineer, this feature seals the deal for me.There are two features that, while different, help to boost and limit songs in terms of EQ and compression as needed to maintain a nice overall balance. There’s “Low Volume EQ” and there’s “Personal Sound Amplification”. I find these useful when listening to songs released pre-90’s as many older songs were not balanced from start to end based on how they were mastered.A really cool feature is the Spacial Sound feature which takes stereo recordings to another level by enhancing and expanding the width of a song. I like this because it allows you to hear a song in a more surround type of way similar to Dolby. Nice. There’s a Smart Audio & Video setting which I have yet to properly test as I rarely watch movies or shows on the phone I used to test these out – but I have no doubt that this feature comes in handy for the scenario between listening VS watching something. You are able to control whether music continues playing or whether it pauses when you take your headphones off, which I like that ability to control. At the top of the app, there’s a Power button you can tap to turn the power off without having to physically touch the power switch on the headphones. Additionally, there’s an Auto Power Off feature that you can set to 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. There is a Left/Right Sound Balance feature where, if you wanted to, you can adjust to hear music more out of one side or the other. Normally, I wouldn’t find such a feature needed for recreational listening, but at my job I have more people to me on my right side than my left, so this would come in handy for me in that way so that I don’t miss someone speaking to me because I have my music going. There’s also a Max Volume Limiter you can adjust so that the loudest volume never goes beyond a certain amount. Definitely helpful for keeping your ear drums protected. You’ll find that the app also gives you access to Voice Assistant settings where you can select your preferred speaking language. I’m not much in to Voice Assistants, so I didn’t test this feature, though I’m certain others would find it very useful. And finally for the app, it has Support for things like Product Help or if you need to Reset the app to Factory Settings.I also tested these headphones during a few phone calls and the quality is top-notch. I can hear others perfectly and was told that I sound crystal clear on their end.Literally the only thing I can say that was not ideal for me is that the headphones began to feel uncomfortable after wearing them between 30-45 minutes. I think if the ear cups were larger that this wouldn’t be an issue as I have a different pair of JBL headphones with larger cups that I can wear for hours on end without discomfort. This would be the only thing negative that I can say about these. All in all, though – these headphones are really amazing and considering the sound quality and the great features by the app’s control, these could honestly sell for much more. Definitely a pair I would recommend to others.

Great headphones with a variety of features

Out of the box, the connection process was very simple using the quick connect feature on Android. The option to use a 3.5mm audio jack is also very nice. Especially the increased audio quality that comes along with it. I was reading the quick start guide and found that you can use some of the features such as noise cancelling alongside the use of the 3.5mm jack, if you also turn the headphones on while plugged in. This is quite a nice combination as I have tried different headphones before in which only allow you to use one feature or the other at any single time.I know on-ear headphones are not everyone's preference but I found these to be quite comfortable and not exert a lot of pressure onto your ears, while maintaining enough clamping pressure to not easily fall off your head. The JBL app had a surprisingly large number of features, including Ambient Sound Control, Personal-Fi, EQ settings, Low Volume Dynamic EQ, Spatial Sound, Gesture Customisation (For buttons and side taps), VoiceAware, Smart Audio & Video, Auto Play/Pause, Personal Sound Amplification, L/R balance, Voice Assistant, Voice Prompts, Max Volume Limiter and Auto Power Off.Something else to point out is that there is no plastic inside the box, all the packaging is cardboard or a cardboard derivative, which is nice to see. Included in the box is a 3.5mm jack cable and a USB-A to USB-C which is nice, however the USB cable is extremely short, to the point that you wouldn't be able to use it from a normal wall plug without having something to rest the headphones on.Overall I am extremely happy with these headphones, definitely would recommend.

JBL TUNE 670nc - Convenient and feature packed!
17 February 2024

These on-ear wireless noise-cancelling headphones are pretty great. One of the biggest things that stands out from other wireless headphones I have used is that, so far, the battery life is incredible. Sometimes I can go all week on one charge.I use these at work on my computer and when the office get’s too hectic, I can turn on the noise cancelling to block out all the distractions. They work seamlessly between listening to music and using them as a headset for virtual meetings. Probably my favorite feature is that the Tune 670nc can Bluetooth connect to multiple devices at the same time. Having my phone connected while I am working on the computer is a real game-changer.You can control the TUNE 670nc’s settings, features, and volume seamlessly though the JBL ... MoreThese on-ear wireless noise-cancelling headphones are pretty great. Having my phone connected while I am working on the computer is a real game-changer.You can control the TUNE 670nc’s settings, features, and volume seamlessly though the JBL app. I found it very easy to setup and customize the settings to my liking. The headset is lightweight and conveniently folds flat and compact so it doest take up much space in my bag. The ear cups are very plush, soft and comfortable even for longer listening, but the outer material used seems very thin and delicate. I am concerned with the long-term durability of this, although they have held up nicely so far.As far as sound, these are pleasantly enjoyable. The bass is very rich, warm, and smooth while the treble is extremely clear and crispy. It is impressive how JBL has been able to blend the two profiles together creating such a rich experience for smaller style on-ear headphones with the TUNE 670nc.Now after saying how great these sound, my only real complaint is that I can’t get enough! Normally these are plenty loud, especially for casual listening, but sometimes I wish I could turn them up more.Overall, the TUNE 670nc's are very enjoyable and have some great features that make them very useful for everyday listening.

Lightweight On-ear Headphones, Great Battery Life
4 April 2024

These are my first pair of on-ear headphones as I typically lean towards over-ear ones or in-ear buds. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality and noise cancellation on these as I always thought these were areas where on-ear headphones would be weak. While I still prefer my go-to over ear ones for most use cases, these performed better than I expected. Where they really shine is in the battery life and lightweight construction. Can't fully vouch for the 70-hour life, but it was just over two weeks of pretty regular use before I had to charge them the first time so I'm guessing they're pretty close. Another underrated feature I love here is that they come with an aux cable. Another underrated feature I love here is that they come with an aux cable. Truthfully I will almost never use this over Bluetooth, but every time I'm on a flight I wish I had one to be able to plug into the airplane screens without having to ask for a pair of cheap disposable headphones, so very excited to bring these along next time I fly. The physical buttons for volume control are pretty responsive and easy to find when wearing, though they do feel a bit flimsy/clicky. Personally I don't find the fit to be very comfortable - they're definitely snug and I'm never worried about them falling off if I'm walking around or something, but I think these have definitely confirmed my preference for over-ear cans. That said, if you know you like on-ear headphones and are looking for a lightweight pair with great battery life and an aux cord, these are probably a good option for you.

Solid on ear headphone with stellar battery life
17 February 2024

I've had these headphones for about a month and I'm really enjoying them so far. Initially didn't like the way the headphones felt on my ears, they felt too small. I had never used on ear before, so the fit was different than I expected. But after using them for more time, they got more comfortable. Still not the most comfortable set of headphones I've worn, but better than I Initially expected. What I have really enjoyed, so far, is the great sound from these headphones. Additionally, the noise canceling works very well. I wore them while mowing my lawn, and the noise canceling did a great job of minimizing the sound from the mower, allowing me to enjoy my music without having to turn it up extremely loud.I have been very impressed by the battery life. I used them regularly for over a week and still had over 50% battery life left. I haven't had an opportunity to test if I can get three hours of listening time with only five minutes of charge time, as advertised, but I would believe it based on the battery life I've experienced.I travel a lot for work, so I am liking their compact design that has been great for traveling because they don't take up much space in my carry-on. I also appreciate the auxiliary cable that comes with the headphones, so I can use the headphones with onboard entertainment systems on some flights.I easily integrating the headphones with Google Assistant. But more than Google Assistant, I really enjoy using them with the JBL app, giving me the ability to adjust more advanced settings (voice aware, equalizer, turning ambient aware, and noise canceling on and off). One final perk is, with the solid noise cancelling, I am able to use the product to listen to my own music or audiobooks while my kids are watching a movie or show.

Very nice on-ear headphones for its class!
3 February 2024

The JBL TUNE 670NC’s are a solid set of headphones on the lower end of the JBL lineup. They offer great sound, portability, long battery life, excellent noise cancelling, and various feature controls available through the JBL Headphones App. I give them five stars hands-down based on the following:Audio Playback and Voice Calls: Overall, the audio quality is great. The noise cancelling works very well and is comparable to much more expensive sets I own. They deliver very clean sound, especially the bass tones, and the volume level is more than adequate. Hands-free calling is a breeze with easy access to physical buttons conveniently placed on the ear cups.Portability/Quality: The JBL TUNE 670NC’s are fairly compact and travel well. They are lightweight, well-built, and feature a fold-in design which is perfect for taking them with you on the go. Although they feel durable enough for most daily use-cases, they do not feel as though they can withstand a hardcore beating. Still, I dropped them by accident and had no issues with the daily “normal” mishaps.Battery Life: Excellent! JBL claims up to 70 hours with ambient noise cancelling off which is surprisingly accurate. With noise cancelling on, I am getting over 40 hours of wireless use on a full charge. The speed charging option provides an extra three hours after charging in only five minutes with the included USB cable. This is a very nice feature if you are on the go and need to get them up and running quickly.Comfort: This set is pretty comfortable for the most part. They fit snug and wearing them for prolonged periods of time caused some discomfort. However, this is a common issue with me when it comes to on-ear sets.Ease of use: They were extremely easy to set up. Further, the controls are easy to navigate when wearing. However, the best part comes with the included features within the intuitive JBL Headphones App. In it, you’ll find awesome features such as an equalizer to customize your sound preferences along with a max sound setting to help protect your ears.Final Thoughts: Great set of headphones, especially to take on the road, and not wanting to shell out a lot of money. They sound great, have an excellent battery life, and are well-made just as you can expect from JBL. Given the additional features compared to other brands in this class, you can’t go wrong with the JBL TUNE 670NC!

Wear with confidence (safety)
25 April 2024

Finding any sort of audio gear to wear and listen outside which sounds acoustically good and makes you feel confident in being safe when walking down busy streets and still having the awareness of traffic and people is definitely the type of headphones I'd buy!You notice the difference straight away when toggling between ANC, (automatic noise cancelling) and hear through which basically turns up the volume in the ambient environment around you.The bass is punching your ears constantly so watch you don't get cauliflower ears! đŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł (rugby player ears)The very informative JBL app is easy to navigate with all the settings and adjustments required to compliment your own listening requirements. With a cushioned material head rest , easy head adjustment and flexible ear ... MoreFinding any sort of audio gear to wear and listen outside which sounds acoustically good and makes you feel confident in being safe when walking down busy streets and still having the awareness of traffic and people is definitely the type of headphones I'd buy!You notice the difference straight away when toggling between ANC, (automatic noise cancelling) and hear through which basically turns up the volume in the ambient environment around you.The bass is punching your ears constantly so watch you don't get cauliflower ears! đŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł (rugby player ears)The very informative JBL app is easy to navigate with all the settings and adjustments required to compliment your own listening requirements. With a cushioned material head rest , easy head adjustment and flexible ear cups they'll fell considerably comfortably.Block/damping noise seeping into your ears is handled really well.If I was to find a fault or a moan about the JBL LIVE 670NC it would be the vinyl feel of the cushioned ear cups when wearing about the day with a big, bright yellow thingy in the Scottish sky's your ears could feel clamy, damp and irritable. I suppose this design is best for keeping noise out and acoustics in!Well worth a shot!
