I had one previously, worked well until I dropped it ! Decided to buy another one. It works really well. Just took a little while to figure out initially that you have to lift all of the little pegs UP, then leave the ones down for the times you want the appliance on. Spent a while wondering why they wouldn't go down!

Works the way it’s meant to. The plug is on the top which means it hangs from my outdoor power point. It hasn’t fallen out yet, but bumping it would dislodge it pretty easily. My power point is low to the ground, which makes it impossible to adjust, or even view the timer dial, without removing it completely.

Reason for 4 is,1. The clock setting levers are really tight and difficult to set.2. Anything I plug into it really struggles to get in. Feels like the pins are not allogned with the holes.

Reason for 4 is,1. The clock setting levers are really tight and difficult to set.2. Anything I plug into it really struggles to get in. Feels like the pins are not allogned with the holes.
The tabs are all pushed down when you get the timer. They are very hard to pop up with your fingers. I used a small screwdriver (for wrist watch screws) to lever them up. Then just push down the times you want it on and spin dial with both thumbs simultaneously to set current time.
My original pool timer broke down during a storm, cheapest solution was this timer ,not sure if it has a power surge incorporated to protect the pool system from another storm.
No manual included and would not let me push in the tabs, no matter how hard I tried. How hard can it be to make a timer that actually works?
Weatherproof? The warning on the timer says; DO NOT DIRECTLY EXPOSE TO WET WEATHER. I gave 1 star, because I couldn't select zero.
Good product, sturdy quality and fit for purpose.
Was going away on a trip. Set timer up day before to see worked next day as going away and it had stopped working. Just incase you go away as I do and do not want to come home to dead plants, maybe try another brand.
Bought online for outdoor garden lights. What's not clear from the product page, which says this timer is "heavy duty" and "perfect for those outdoor applications", is that thIs timer comes with a large all-caps warning "DO NOT DIRECTLY EXPOSE TO WET WEATHER". I'm not sure it's fair to call something 'weatherproof' if it can't be exposed to wet weather.Eventually found a use for it on a mozzie zapper under an eave, where it works fine.
