We saw the "XL" on the board and got excited, maybe finally it was an ironing board tall enough for my 6'4" partner to use, but no, of course, it wasn't. If anything this board is shorter than our old cheap one, do tall people not iron their clothes? Is there market research on this? It also concaves in when you press on it with the iron, after paying such a steep price for an ironing board I expected some structural integrity but we have been sorely disappointed. Feels incredibly cheap and not even close to being worth the premium price tag. We've always supported Hills as an Aussie company but clearly the manufacturing move overseas has severely reduced the quality of the brand. Unlikely to purchase any of their products again after this.

This is a poor quality ironing board, the wheels don't work and the grid underneath the cover would make a noise as the iron was moved about. This item was returned for a refund.

Great board, it’s strong and sturdy and the pad is nice and thick. It has features I didn’t even know about. It has thought of everything!
The board is not very good. When you iron on it the metal underneath has some dips in it and makes noises when ironing over the dips. Very disappointing considering the price I paid
I bought this XL Ironing board a few months back. Should have returned it after 1st use as the metal under the ironing cover creaks and moves as you iron over it. The basket holder underneath is nothing but a pest as it catches sleeve buttons on shirts as I'm ironing. It's a good size though.
Bought one this month and took it back because the mesh was buckled. Exchanged it for a new one, took it home. on opening it, again damaged legs. Took back and got a refund. Very disappointed in the product.
The welds on the legs holding them to the board failed within one year. I've had cheaper ironing boards last for 15years plus, and this was a brand new one that didn't even last the year. The welds are small compared to the size of the board and weight of it.
This ironing board is the best one I have ever had. I love the extra length and the extra height is just perfect.
I bought this ironing board in January 2022 at it’s full price and I’ve only used it a couple of times. The metal has buckled under the cover and is now very lumpy. I was expecting much better quality for the price.
