With a price that rivals some expensive jewelry, the HiFiMan’s themselves have a great feel and look. However, there is one minor annoyance that you wouldn’t expect when you purchase headphones of this caliber: The cables feel flimsy and cheap. They are wrapped in a sleeve that feels like the cables would be solidly constructed, however the sleeves feel too large and thus the cables feel loose inside. Overall feel is great - even if you wear glasses. The sound - I was expecting to place these on my head and have my world rocked when I fired up my music - to be honest I wasn't blown away but I was impressed with the clarity and rich sound overall.

Sounds very good overall. The mids seem scooped out at lower volume levels that I would consider healthy to listen to for extended periods of time. Once you turn the volume up though it sounds great, just a bit too loud for me.
