HiFi Man Audivina Planar Headphones
HIFIMAN Audivina is a premium audiophile headphone that stands out not only for its impressive sound quality but also for its elegant design. Users note its deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs, which develop beautifully after 80 hours of break-in. The open soundstage allows for an immersive listening experience, making it a favorite among audio enthusiasts. Despite its closed-back design, some users found its noise isolation less effective compared to other models, yet many appreciated its lightweight comfort for long listening sessions. The build quality is unexpectedly excellent for Hifiman, making it feel luxurious and well-crafted.

I like these cans for music. Only music. Not movies. Not podcasts. Not documentaries. Not youtube. Just music. The good:* Comfortable enough for all day use. They feel light and have just about the perfect compression.* Uses the standard dual-entry balanced-capable cable ingress, making it compatible with higher end cable systems.* Sounds amazing for Metal, Rock, and EDM.* Nice cloth patches on the ear-pads where they make skin contact. None of the old fuzzy abomination pads.* Rawhide comfort band. Likely will last much longer than the bands on the Arya series.* Comes with a very nice storage case. The OK:* The cable load-out is kinda silly. I mean, I'm pleased that it comes with balanced cables and all, but I'd have been much happier if they'd have focused ... MoreI like these cans for music. Only music. Not movies. Not podcasts. If you're listening to (or watching) a podcast where the speaker doesn't have reflection/echo dampening, it makes it sound like they're honking down a hallway.* While they are more efficient than other Hifiman cans I own, they still require me to have the Ragnarok 2 at high gain with volume at 12 o'clock for enjoyable listening.tl;dr: Great when on drastic sale, just... expect echo. Lots and lots of echo. Echo echo echo echo echo echo echo echo.

Satisfied with Headphones . Order was on back order and took 2 months to ship out which I find excessive . I believe in the future 2 to 3 weeks is acceptable but when it gets to 2 months then you should evaluate how you charge the customer . The worst part was I got one email like one week after order was placed showing “we are working on your order “ message . When I inquired via email like every 2 weeks to get more information on the headphones no reply from you guys. I was not kept informed and after 2 months (8 weeks) begin to wonder if I would receive the headphones at all . My last email a few days before delivery someone replied that they were expecting shipment within the next couple of days and I should receive within a week . I had paid in full so I was ... MoreSatisfied with Headphones . Order was on back order and took 2 months to ship out which I find excessive . Haven't bought closed back cans in years, thought I would try these. The lack of brick-and-mortar electronic stores makes it hard try before you buy. I thought the high sensitivity would deliver a more exciting experience. Sounded good with some music but not all. Glad I discovered Audio46, good service, could recommend them but not these cans.

Sound like open backs with realistic staging.
Imagine listening to music through a telephone with bass but in stereo, that's what you get with these.Thin wooden cups, pads that fit with velcro (bass leakage) and they're half made out of plastic if you take them apart.
