Built to last out of high quality material consistent with the Hershel brand. The interior detail and sunglasses pocket in the front top spell out a lot more “luxury” than “utility.” Only problem I noticed are the zippers which don’t glide too smoothly but don’t get stuck either!

This pretty Fall-patterned backpack is perfect in so many ways. I purchased it for travel and was pleasantly surprised. The size isn't too overwhelming. The straps are wide and super comfortable. It holds so much more than you'd think but it doesn't feel bulky. It comes with an inside padded section that's perfect for protecting a laptop. There are two smaller pockets on the outside front where it's easy to stash the things you may need like a phone or wallet. This backpack really has all the bells and whistles!

Love this backpack! I had my other one for 5 years before the zipper finally gave out (that's after daily use commuting and SEVERAL trips where I WAY over stuffed it). I got another one as my replacement- even after trying a bunch of other backpacks, this one just really works for me- I'm small in stature and it's not too overwhelming. It also has a laptop sleeve, main compartment and critical front pocket to keep me organized without one million zippers. Can't recommend enough.

I use this bag for (high) school. I've used this bag for about a month now; it's still clean, intact, and I've gotten many compliments on it. However, as cute as it seems, it's not very practical. I can only fit a few notebooks and small binders before it gets too stuffed. The small front pocket can only fit my phone, wallet, a pen, and some feminine products. Furthermore, the belts on the bag constantly curl up. All in all, the bag seems to be more on the fashionable than practical side.

It is BIG but not overwhelmingly large. I was able to put my 15" macbook pro snuggly into the laptop compartment... BUT I can see why some people may say it does not fit! I ordered this bag for my daughter for the beginning of the school year. It’s a nice looking bag and I liked the leather bottom. The problem I had is with the front compartment. The corners are too squared that the zippers cannot pass through so the front compartment cannot be zipped shut. We ended up returning the bag.
This backpack looks great but is poorly designed. The zippers are soooo difficult to reach and pull across. They are buried under a super stiff lip, impossible to grab hold of and once you do crazy difficult to open. I don’t understand how this design passed

However, our son and I were both disappointed with this backpack especially considering that it is the most expensive backpack I've ever purchased for school. First, I was expecting the base to be a leather or leather-style material for durability (it's a fabric material). Second, it is much smaller than we expected...I thought it would have had more depth for books, etc. Third, the zippers truly test your level of patience! OMG, I really hate the zippers (especially the overlaying flap), we struggle with them every day and I'm constantly mumbling curse words each time I have to open or close any compartment on this dang thing! This was a gift, requested by my daughter, with very specific specs: it needed to hold her laptop, yoga workout gear and tennis shoes. The bag is sturdy, met all the requirements and got the seal of approval from both clerks and passersby -- we polled everyone in the appropriate age range! I went with the gray/tan version, not the floral one posted here -- it was a hit! On top of a quality product, the help Dorothy and the other clerks in the bags department provided at the downtown Seattle store was above and beyond. The bag has great structure and securely holds items in place. The complements are well designed so that you aren’t digging around the bag or hassling with excess buttons, zippers and flaps.
