I have used Helly Hansen for a very long time.I bought one of these for my son to use while rock climbing. The fit, fabric and manufacturing are first class, as you would expect from HH.I would thoroughly recommend this top, indeed I want one for myself.

Ordered the Lifa Midweight Crew base layer for its high percent content of Merino wool. I have tried other light weight merino wool base layers from other manufactures but they are too light for those cold days snow skiing in the mountains.This Lifa is exactly what I was looking for in a base layer to keep me warm.
I have a 1/4 zip version of this, and then another similar to this one. They are excellent quality and I like them better than smartwool. More durable. I didn't notice when I ordered this one that it's "fitted", so it fits tighter than my other one. So this is more a true base layer, which is fine. I wear the other one as a regular activewear shirt.
It fits great. I'm 5' 11 160lbs. typically wear large hoodies for a bit oversized feel. Purchased this in a medium. Not too tight but perfect for a baselayer. Very soft and a good weight to it.
I have used Helly Hansen base layers for years on my camping and hiking trips. Though I have liked base layers such as Life Active, Lifa Merino Midweight provides step up in terms of warmth and comfort on colder days. It's lightweight but still provides good warmth and comfort. Unlike some of the merino base layers I have used it does not itch and irritate skin. Highly recommended!
High quality product bought at great price in sale. Not actually worn yet as it's a 'for winter' purchase but very happy with it. I've got a top quality item at a budget item price so very happy.
I received this as a gift and used it immediately for a ski trip. The wool makes it extra warm and it paired perfectly with my Helly Hansen jacket. Also, since it is wool, it dries quicker and made it perfect for deep powder that would normally make traditional base layers wet. 10/10 would recommend to anyone spending time in the cold, but especially skiing!
