Hayabusa Hybrid T3 7oz Kickboxing and MMA Gloves

Very good quality. Unfortunately I had to rerun them bc my kids needs for karate are different. The padding is not too curved and their fingers were showing even after ordering a bigger size. But the quality is outstanding.

Beyond saying these are awesome, there's not a lot else you need to know. They fit great and are super comfortable. The construction feels solid and the double velcro wrist wrap make them feel very secure. The padding on the knuckles is also well placed which makes them awesome for sparring while still looking after your training partners, and can hit them bag with them too if you really want to (I prefer closed gloves though, for that).I am a couple of months into using them, and have no regrets getting these - awesome set of MMA sparring gloves, and definitely the quality I expected from Hayabusa.

Incredible quality and very supportive. Although very stiff to start with, they feel great once you start pounding with them. I've mainly used them on a heavy bag and a heavy duty throwing dummy, and they feel strong, supportive and natural. Grappling with them has proved easy also, no issues taking grips whilst wearing them. All up very happy.

Amazing glove

When I first bought these gloves I was a tad hesitant because they felt very snug compared to other brands I've had. I decided to stay with the size recommended for me by the size chart and im glad I did. These gloves broke in well and now I can't stop using them. Again, to compare to other brands, these gloves feel as close to 4 oz gloves as you can get but also allowing the extra 3 ounces. I weighed both gloves and they came out to 7.11 ounces which was cool to know. I am a big fan of these gloves particularly with bag work and light sparring. I definitely recommend these.

As always Hayabusa has great quality! I’ve been buying hayabusa for 5 years now for my son he does Kenpo martial arts, MMA and jujitsu. Loves HAYABUSA

Amazing as always. We had to exchange size on these gloves. Very quick and painless!

Better than others I've tried

At first, these gloves were pretty tight. I have big hands PLUS my hand wraps on made the gloves feel really tight. (I ordered the largest size). However, after breaking them in and getting a few training sessions out they fit "like a glove" and it feels like I've been training with them for years. I have used other gloves in the past, Revgear, Venom, UFC, Champion, and a few other off brands and so far these gloves are the ones I prefer. On a side note, my friend who needs a lot of wrist support in his gloves couldn't throw his hooks hard enough. He was using Revgear training gloves and couldn't hit the bag at 100% even with supporting hand wraps. If he hit too hard with them on it would cause him major discomfort. I had him try my other pair (Not broken in yet, ... MoreAt first, these gloves were pretty tight. I have big hands PLUS my hand wraps on made the gloves feel really tight. I had him try my other pair (Not broken in yet, BRAND new) of gloves, since they have that double strap I figured it would help. His comments were they were pretty tight but after awhile they started to loosen and he was throwing bombs with his hooks and he said no discomfort or quick jolts of pain sometimes if he throws too hard. He said he was going to buy a pair the next time he can get some gloves. "Industry-leading wrist support". I guess they weren't kidding. On a final note, the quality is great, they don't feel like "another pair of cheap training gloves" and plus the colors are great too. I'm sure I'll be buying more products in the future.

Hayabusa T3 7oz Hybrid Gloves

Just got these gloves recently. I've used them on pad work and sparring about four times already and they feel great. It was a little tight on the hands when I first started using them but they are more comfortable now. You can't use hand wraps inside these gloves because there is no room, but it works well. Hits like a boxing glove and is great for sparring and grappling! Highly recommend!!

Hybrid Gloves review

I recently switched from the standard century foam karate gloves to these for Karate sparring. First sparring session felt wonderful. I don’t compete so I’m not concerned they are not WKF rated. The ability to grab and knock a hand out the way was so much easier. Yes the gloves are super tight. I spent about 2-3 days of heavy bag strikes and burpees. Got them soaked in sweat and they loosened up to where they feel like a true glove. I highly recommend them.

Just about perfect.

These gloves are great, minus one very specific problem that probably won't matter to most people. The sizing on the gloves did seem a little tight - my hands were just a little bit smaller than the upper range for Medium, so that's the size I got - they do fit but the finger loops were uncomfortable at first and had to be broken in. Now they're great. The stitching is high quality, the material, finish, and aesthetics are all great - the wrist support is perfect for hitting bags or partners. The only little gripe I have is that the wrist support is too good - the reason I use hybrid gloves is because I practice traditional martial arts, which occasionally require hand or wrist positions that the glove explicitly disallows - Sometimes I need to pull my hand back so ... MoreThese gloves are great, minus one very specific problem that probably won't matter to most people. The only little gripe I have is that the wrist support is too good - the reason I use hybrid gloves is because I practice traditional martial arts, which occasionally require hand or wrist positions that the glove explicitly disallows - Sometimes I need to pull my hand back so my fingers are perpendicular to my forearm - impossible with the precurved hand and solid wrist. I know these gloves weren't made for this purpose, so I'm not going to deduct a star for something it wasn't meant to do, but karate or kung fu practitioners may want to take a note of that fact. It does alter my style slightly when sparring but isn't a noticeable problem in my opinion.Pros:+ Great padding and protection+ Great overall build quality+ Great aesthetics+ Great comfort+ Stay fresh-smelling with the anti-microbial linerCons:- Sizing runs a little tight and may require break-in on the finger loops. Consider maybe going a size up if you have thick fingers (mine are thin)- May not be able to accommodate some hand positions found in traditional martial arts- Take a while to dry out
