Product lasted 5 weeks before plastic rewind shattered,I purchased 3 of these, so it will be interesting to see if the other 2 also fail in a unreasonable time frame.

I purchased this product in November 2021 and the centre shaft of the reel broke, it is made of plastic. I always handled the product with great care. I would not recommend the product.

Product looks to be made of sturdy material, but my only concern is the longer-term strength and durability of the mounting hinge shaft - which is made of plastic, so I hope it can endure the loads encountered when unreeling the hose. Good quality brass attachments and I like the auto feed which evenly spreads the hose when rewinding. At this early stage I'm very pleased with the unit.

DONT BOTHER BUYING. a retractable hose reel that doesn’t retract. This company is terrible. Arrived not working and they take weeks to respond to any emails. They don’t take calls STAY AWAY FROM MYDEAL THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY
2 major problems / faults with the hose reel lack of resolution from the seller plus My Deal has not responded to reported problems.Fault 1 hose will not lock.Fault 2 hose will not rewind fully to stopper.
A sturdy exterior and retracting mechanism work well. The hose is not the best quality and kinks easily but doesn't affect the usability much. The spray gun is handy and powerful. Overall a good product.
I have found that the reel doesn't stop when you want it to, only in some spots. The hose is one of the cheap hoses with no inner wiring. It was a good length but that's all I can say about it. The casing looks good
Initially opening the box I was happy with the look of the casing of the unit. I was disappointed with the quality of the hose. The brass fitting although looks good does not stay on the end of the hose. Not a practical practice having to continuously rejoin the brass spray back on. It consistently comes off. I’ve had to plug a plastic version to be able to water my garden. The hose unfortunately has a week spot from buckling on it self whilst I’ve used it and easily stops the water flow. The retracting mechanism works well. I do not recommend this product, and would like to return it and get my money back. I’m sorry to give this feed back. Hope this will guide the next person trying to decide on retractable hoses.
Plastic mounting bracket seems a bit light on for longevity. A galvanized steel bracket would have given me more confidence that the product was designed to last.Fixing screws for the mounting bracket seemed a bit too long. Could have reduced by 25 mm and would still work - without the need to put too much drilling into the masonry wall.Hose kinked quite easily.
